The Blue Past

The next day Blue woke up from her sleep. He saw the clock on the wall already showing almost 08:00 in the morning. He has morning class at 10:00. So she quickly walked towards the bathroom and took a quick shower.

He made a simple breakfast for himself then after breakfast he went to his study table. He looked at a photo on his desk. A picture of him with his parents. But in fact they were not his biological parents, Blue was adopted by them.

They told Blue that they found Blue passed out when they went to the market in the morning and at that time Blue was still 4 or 5 years old.

The couple is old enough and they have no children. They brought Blue home. When Blue awakens, all she knows is her name Blue and her age.

Blue doesn't remember anything anymore. Then after discussing, the couple took Blue to the police station.

Arriving there, they told the police that they wanted to adopt Blue. Police told them to wait first. Then after 2 months there were no reports of missing children, the couple finally became legal Blue parents after going through many procedures.

They had a small noodle shop as their venture. They both love Blue and Blue always helps them when she comes home after school. They are so proud of Blue because Blue always gets scholarships in school.

When Blue was 15 years old, his adoptive father died of illness and it was a very difficult time for Blue and his Mother.

After they paused for a while, the two of them started opening their noodle shop again. The two of them started trying to brace themselves after the departure of their family head. Even though Blue knew from her heart that her mother missed her father so much.

Every day, Blue would make jokes to make her foster mom laugh. She also always made her adoptive mother proud of the perfect grades she got in school and she also got a full scholarship for her studies and it made her very happy.

But fate said something else after Blue got the good news about his scholarship, his mother even suddenly fell unconscious.

The doctor told Blue that his mother had cancer and that it was late stage. Blue fainted when he heard that. He felt guilty for never knowing about his mother's illness.

After her mother died, Blue found a letter that the Mother had left for her. Her adoptive mother told Blue not to feel guilty because she didn't know if her mother had cancer and it had been a very long time.

The Mama also left Blue with enough money savings for Blue. He also tells Blue that Blue must be a strong girl and he wants Blue to move from their small town and start a new life in a new city.

He also said that the necklace Blue had been wearing was proof for Blue to find her biological parents.

Two weeks before Blue entered college, he decided to sell his house and leave his old town and now here he is. Starting a new life, in a new city alone.
