Destiny Gintani
Ruse

Time keeps passing. Without notice, the sunlight had changed color to orange. The light is getting dimmer too. Gintani sighed as she looked at her husband who had not come to her senses. Dr. Richard said it was common. But somehow, Gintani's heart was overwhelmed with excessive anxiety.

"Mas, Gintan please, wake up!" murmured Gintani while wiping the sweat coat on Argha's face with his hands. However, Argha was still reluctant to open his eyes.

Adzan maghrib began to reverberate. Gintani immediately went to the bathroom for ablution. After that, he fulfilled his duty. In his prayer, do not forget Gintani embed a beautiful do'a-do'a for the husband.

Gintani folded his face and put it in the nightstand drawer. Upon negotiation from doctor Richard, Gintani finally gets permission to keep Argha in the ICU room. After tidying up her alphabet, she came back to Argha and sat down on the chair beside the hospital bed.

Gintani's hands again touched and grasped the fingers of the husband. Without feeling it, tear circles began to flow on both of his white cheeks. Unable to resist his sobs, he laid his head on Argha's hand. Both of Gintani's shoulders began to shake. In the end, his power collapsed. Gintani was crying beside her husband's body. He cried long enough to fall asleep because he was tired.

Argha felt numbness in his hand. He also began to move his fingers. However, he felt his hands slightly sticky. Argha blinked his eyes as he felt something heavy overlap his arms.

Argha was shocked when he saw Gintani sleeping beside him. Now he began to understand why his hands felt numb. Argha started to move his left hand. He gently rubbed Gintani's head.

Sensing something moving above his head, Gintani opened her eyes. He raised his head and saw that Argha was looking at him meaningfully. Implied a deep enough longing in both eyes of Argha. Gintani smiled when she saw her husband smiling at her.

"How are you doing, Mom? Where is the sick?" ask Gintani.

Argha shook his head, weak.

"Want a drink?" gintani.

Argha nodded.

Gintani took a bottle of mineral water from the top of the nightstand. He then put down his straw and helped Argha sit down to be able to drink.

A few minutes later, Argha removed his straw from his mouth. He began to lean his back on the edge of the bed. For a moment, Argha made a face. Argha took a deep breath, after which he exhaled slowly.

"Is his chest still hurting?" ask Gintani again.

"It's gone, Gin," replied Argha.

"Why Mas never told me if Mas's body is very vulnerable to cold weather. If you knew Mas had hypothermia, Gintan would definitely not let Mas cold like that. What, all night raining?" ask Gintani.

Argha nodded.

"Ish, why would Mas do such recklessness? He should know more about the condition of his own body. What if something happens to you? Didn't Mas ever think of Gintan's feelings?" gerutu Gintani pursed his lips.

Argha smiled at his increasingly adorable wife. "What does that mean, you're worried about me?" Argha seduces Gintani.

"Don't you want me to worry?" Gintani asked back.

"Hmm, come!" argha's word spread out his hands.

Gintani. She then sat down next to her husband. A moment later, Gintani leaned her body on the chest of the husband's field. The scent of the husband's body that so calmed his heart, began to smell in his senses. She closed her eyes to feel the warmth of her husband.

"I'm sorry Gintan, Mom! Because of Gintan, Mas became sick like this" Gintani said with guilt.

"Sst..., stop! Forgetit! All this is my fault too. I shouldn't have disappeared without giving you any news" replied Argha.

Gintani recalled the night after she had an accident. Two nights later, she spent in the hospital with no husband to accompany her. In fact, at that time, the existence of a husband figure must be very necessary if a wife is in a condition that is not okay.

Curious, Gintani began to ask.

Argha took a breath.

"I'm sorry, Mom, Gin! I didn't mean not to give you news. But by then, Mas's phone was completely out of power."

"Then, what happened? Why would you live together, Na?"Gintani's tone began to rise by an octave. His chest was increasingly rumbling because it held back the jealousy that began to run through his heart.

Argha broke his embrace. He looked at his wife.

"Believe the same! I've never done anything that's out of bounds, Gin. At that time, Mas received a video message from an unknown person. In the video, Na is beaten by two men. He screamed for help, so Mas left the meeting to help him. While in the car, Mas tried to call the number, but never active. I got pissed and threw Mas's phone in any direction."

"Then?"

"Get in Ilona's apartment. I saw two thugs threatening Ilona. Seeing Mas's arrival, the two thugs left Ilona. However, the thugs vaguely mentioned Jessica's name. After they left, Mas helped the injured Ilona. At that time, Ilona asked Mas to accompany her. He was afraid that the thugs would bother him again. Unfortunately, HP Mas was left in the car. That's why I can't tell you."

"But, two nights, you know, Mas! Has it been two nights that Mas hasn't had an attempt to tell Gintan? What's wrong with asking permission to take Mas's phone in the car? Don't-don't, it's just an excuse, huh!" grunts Gintani upset.

"For God's sake, Gin! They don't lie. That night, Ilona is in pain and she asks Mas to accompany her. He was like a sister to Mas, therefore Mas could not bear to leave him in such a condition. He did not allow Mas to pick up the phone in the car. Finally, Mas borrowed Ilona's phone to contact you. Your phone is always inactive. Mas also resigned. The next day, Mas again asked permission to take the phone. And Ilona allowed Mas. Damn, Mas's phone ran out of battery."

Gintani sighed.

"Alright, this time, Gintan believes the same Mas. But please, don't be like this again!" pinta Gintani, firm. "Then, what happened to Ilona. Why did you take her to the hospital?"

Two nights later, Ilona complained of pain around her stomach. Mas has offered him a check-up at the hospital, but Ilona refuses. In the morning, he was barely conscious, so Mas took him to the hospital."

"You don't trust that girl too much, Ar. Who knows if he has your covert intentions."

Suddenly, Bram enters the room and shocks the two.

"A-what do you mean, Bram?" argha asked slightly frowning.

"Ilona's changed, Ar. Trust me, she's not the first innocent girl we know" Bram said in a serious tone.

"Enough, Bram! Don't vilify him. I know you're still hurt because she doesn't accept your feelings."

"Oh, come on, Ar! Open your eyes! It has absolutely nothing to do with my past."

"Bram!"

"Wait, Mom! Why is he so angry? Do you still have feelings for him?" gintani asked, annoyed.

"Oh my God, Gin! Why do you have bad thoughts about your husband?"

"Sorry, Mom! It was Mas's attitude that forced Gintan to think like that. After all, what Bram said might have a point. Ilona accused Jessica's mother of sending those people, right?"

Argha nodded.

"Origin knows. That day, Jessica was with Gintani. In fact, he almost lost his life from falling into the street from arguing with Celine. Gintan himself helps him, until Gintan has an accident. And Jessica's sister, she's the one who took Gintan to the hospital. He was also the one who accompanied Gintan that night. So how could Jessica's mother have sent the thugs to molest Ilona. Gintan is with him, Mas. And Gintan's sure Jessica's mom never contacted anyone that day."

Argha. Is it possible that Ilona lied to me?

"Come, Ar! Do you still not believe your wife's words? I'm sure it's just Ilona's ruse. He told me once that he would snatch you out of Gintani's hands. Please, trust me!"

Is it really like that?
