Chapter XXVI: Memories of Mirna (part 8: Sadness Under Happiness)

This is the most awaited day. Now the graduation moments of the 9th grade children with their class happy last time. Before the show, they will take pictures together first. Take a picture with the principal on stage. Then the next event is the distribution of awards as outstanding students.

Mirna got second place. He's very happy of course. Even to the point of giving thanks before going up on stage. This made her grandmother and her father happy. And his mother and grandfather who had gone first to the lap of the Divine.

Zuko hasn't arrived yet. So Mirna just hugged Bu Eka. Mirna's guess is Zuko's not coming. He was busy with his work to spy on criminals. But Mirna doesn't know that her father's case is over. Where not usually the KPK helps him take care of the corruptor who fled it.

After the award distribution, the show began. Mirna had to go to the school hall with her dance group to get changed. Because it's dancing to a boyband song, so everybody has to wear pants. The first staging was for 7th and 8th grade children to move up the class. Boys mostly make band. And that women make dance groups, the song is definitely a Korean song.

When one of the first bands was finished, Zuko came and saw that the stage was the Korean dance art of 7th graders. He sat next to Ma'am Eka.

"Mirna hasn't performed yet, has she?" ask Zuko.

"Yet. This is for the juniors who go to class first" replied Ms. Eka.

Zuko nodded in understanding. She also watched her junior children Mirna perform.

Seeing her junior dancing the Korean song, one of her friends Mirna is agitated for fear of losing.

"Well, what if we lose, right? Also, they used Su-Ju's song, Sorry-Sorry!"

Efie calmed his friend down and replied, "Just calm down! We tried hard. So it can definitely win. The ones that are judged by our respective skills. Not the music."

"really. Not winning is okay either. This is for fun. What is clear, we have tried our best" added Mirna patiently.

Efie agreed to Mirna's words. Their friends are also a little calm. While waiting, Efie also gave the idea to practice for a while. Try to dance two to three times so that many have memorized the movements.

Friends agree. Mirna agreed too. They also practice in their classes upstairs. All tables and benches are neatened to the back of them to create a spacious room.

Zuko and Bu Eka can't wait to see Mirna and her group dance. Although one class staged an art performance, but for the audience this takes a long time. Especially for 9th grade seniors. Add to that the noise of the student audience who are also Korean song lovers. The noise is for mercy! Every time a class performs a K-Pop dance and the song begins to play, it is immediately crazy.

And one of the teachers who became the MC finally announced, "Yes, now we're going to see the 9th grade E!"

The other one announced, "Right, that's the K-Pop dance again. The one named..."

Then they announced together, "The Infinite Girl, with the song Be Mine! Happy watching!"

Zuko started smiling happily. Finally his daughter showed up too. Seen from his chair, he saw his daughter go on stage with his group. Uniquely on the back of the palm of Mirna, there is a tattoo made with a marker, so that it can be lost with water later.

The song is playing. When this song began to play, the audience of students who like K-Pop back up. Strangely, though, it's even worse. Mirna and her group started dancing. Not only that, Mirna even while singing, even without a mic. Others are just ordinary dancing.

When she sang a second time as Sungjong in the third ref, Mirna returned to her idol-like style and smiled. During the 'oh' section, the audience took part in their hand gestures. One of his friends who became the figure of Woo-hyun in the lyrics '3, 2, 1', the audience also imitated him with enthusiasm.

In the Hoya part of the breakdance towards the end of his musical instrument, the audience cheered in excitement. Zuko and Bu Eka are really proud to see the hard work of Mirna and her group. Not in vain they exercise until tired and feel their bones crumpled due to aches. However, it seems that this makes them not problematic because they are getting used to it.

Apparently, one school admires Mirna and her K-Pop dance team. The teachers who judged him were also happy to watch. At the end of their performance, the audience cheered and gave a loud applause. Especially the K-pop. Zuko applauded until he cried. And seen by Mirna. Zuko gave a thumbs up his right hand while smiling and nodding.

Mirna's not angry anymore. He got off the stage with his team and immediately returned to the hall. MC is back on stage. They talked a little bit about Mirna's team.

"Applause once again to The Infinite Girl!" said one of them.

"Yes, it looks like they could be the winners. Nimble and excited they breakdance like that," said the next MC teacher.

"Yes, it could be. The movement is great and makes the audience so entertained and happy. It's like actually seeing a K-Pop concert at our school, huh."

"It's true."

The stage ended after reaching the 9th grade. After that, everyone is welcome to rest dzuhur prayer and lunch. Only then was the announcement for each group of each class.

The first to be announced was the greatest talented band from 7th to 9th grade. For this announcement, all put together. All of them were nominated because the band wasn't too much. Most drama and dance.

The band was won by the group from class 8 A as the first champion. The second place was in the 9th C class, and the third place was in the 7th class. Next drama. The first champion was won in class 8 D, the second champion for class 9 B and class 7 H got the third champion. It was time for the dance stage.

Everyone who created the dance group turned out to use K-Pop dance. There is no traditional dance. It makes them nervous. Including Mirna and her team. Zuko and Bu Eka also felt the same way.

The third place was Little Wonder Girl from 8th grade. Second place in 7th grade F, as Super Junior Girl. They were the ones who danced the Sorry-Sorry song. And when the first champion all fell silent.

Some members of Mirna's group prayed, some quiet. And finally answered already. This makes one school a scene. Because Class 9 E won the first champion, aka her class Mirna, which became The Infinite Girl.

Mirna hugged each other with her team. They also went on stage. They shook hands like any other performing arts team to the principal, who gave the award.

Then when the event was sorted out, Mirna took a picture with her team while holding the trophy together. The pedals will be kept in the classroom, in the award cabinet. After that, one class took pictures with the homeroom teacher and the principal.

Then they go home. Mirna was held tightly by her father. His grandmother congratulated him.

The next morning, Zuko walked into the kitchen. He wants to make a cup of coffee. When the cup was taken, Zuko suddenly felt dizzy. And this makes him nauseous, until he vomits up fluid. He's vomiting blood!

Coughing infinitely while continuously spewing blood made him even more weakened. Eventually, Zuko fainted.

Ms. Eka who had just come to the kitchen, was surprised to see her son already lying on the floor. With blood still flowing from his mouth.

"O Allah, ZUKOOO!!! WHYARE YOU???!" yelling, Ma Eka panicked.

He immediately asked his neighbors for help to take him to the hospital. Only Mirna has not been told because she is playing out.
