Death-Tipped Camping

Death-Tipped Camping
Small Proof (Amalie)

My hand rubbed the rough liquid that almost dripped onto my cheek. I kept running despite my breath being stung and my muscles started to weaken due to fatigue. The sweat on my forehead and neck was pouring down. Meanwhile, my heart raced great. I have to run as far as possible. Plus, it's my mind that doesn't stop worrying about Jason there. I hope he's okay and manages to save himself from the masked man.

My gaze stared at the entire towering tree around me. I was confused which way to take. I seem lost. Not wanting to be stunned for too long, I also took the path to the right.

I would occasionally shout at the names of the two young men while hoping they would hear me somewhere. "Willi! Albert!" I said while looking back. I let out a sigh of relief. The masked man didn't come after me.

"Gurgh!!" My feet tripped over the roots of a large tree. My body was thrown forward and my ankles were sore. I tried to move it but only the pain I got. My crying broke instantly. Now what am I supposed to do? I can't walk anymore.

A hand patted my shoulder. My eyes were round and my breathing suddenly stopped. My tail glanced slowly to the side and I saw two young men I knew standing there. They looked at me confused. At that moment I let go of my breath slowly and rubbed my eyes that felt moist because of tears.

"You okay?" Albert asked in a very quiet voice. Only a fool would say that he is fine even in such a situation. "Yes." Yeah." And I am that fool! I don't want to trouble anyone anymore. I don't want to make them worry about me. And I just want Jason back alive and out of this place as soon as possible.

"Where's Jason?" William asked, looking around.

I shook my head and bowed deeply. "He held the masked man and asked me to leave." I said with a loud voice. The clear liquid fell back and hit my black shirt.

William ruffled his waist and exhaled a rough breath. "So now it's just the three of us." He said and I immediately denied it with a sharp gaze like a razor that had just come out of the package. "Jason is alive!"

William returned my gaze with a hostile look. "You'd better bury your blind faith. That guy's got an axe. Just one slash, Jason must've been sprawled." William spit. "You think that's why I ran? How brave of him." Connect with cynics.

His words were like a very sharp needle. A very sharp knife and a deadly poison. He managed to undermine my hard-won faith since I decided to leave Jason with the masked man. Instantly my sight thinned and dewy. "He must be back..." Overshipped. My hands clenched and my tears fell by themselves.

Albert crouched down beside me and rubbed my back. He put his lips to my ear. "Am, stop crying. Jason wouldn't like it if you cried like this." His whisper. I stared at Albert for a moment until he finally decided to do what he asked. Right, Jason wouldn't like it if I cried. Albert smiled faintly at me.

Albert then turned to William. "Will, apologize to Amalie." Said calmly.

"What?" William asked with a strange look. I know, William won't apologize to me. He was just thinking about himself. The cold-hearted and spicy-mouthed youth.

"It was Albert, his pride was too high. I don't expect him to apologize to me either."

"No Amalie, he's the chairman of the club and he should have acted more wisely. Not that it's making you worse off. Am I wrong Will?"

William breathed. He stuck his hand out at me. "Sorry Amalie." I gawked as he said an apology. It's like a miracle. I accepted William's hand department and smiled slightly. "What's Will." My word.

Right now, we are in a camping spot. We don't know where else to go. Plus, my sprained ankle. Finally, Albert proposed to come back here while treating my leg first. Then, tomorrow morning we will find a safer place.

"Thank you Albert." I said to Albert who was about to get out of my tent. I felt I should thank him for supporting me all the way here. William helped me, too, but he was outside when Albert massaged my ankle like a professional masseuse.

"You'r welcome." Reply with a sincere smile. "If you need anything, William and I are out." His side patted my shoulder. Then leave after I reply with a slow nod.

Albert closed his body next to William. On the ground without grass. "You look so weird, Will." He said as he brought his palm closer in front of the fire.

William just fell silent and stared at the fire. It was like he was thinking something. "I thought of Agatha." Albert looked quickly and looked at William in disbelief. So did I eavesdrop here. Instantly I chuckled, it turned out that William was a normal human as well.

"It turns out you've secretly had feelings for her."

"It's not like that. It's just," William gave a pause to his sentence. He tried to arrange his face to stay stiff. Okay, I hate that.

"If only the masked man was really Agatha. He could've been after me." I glared, I think I know the reason why William made his face so expressionless. He tried to cover up his fear. I don't know why, I fucked him.

And there's one thing that's stuck in my mind. Why would Agatha go after William? I put my focus back on their conversation.

"Why did Agatha do it?"

Albert was always like me. I smiled proudly to Albert.

"Eitherway. I'm just following my instincts" William replied flatly. I rolled my eyeballs irritated. Just hearing him makes me want to hit him in the head. He's not good at lying. "Yeahh." I took a long breath. Maybe this is the longest blow I've ever had.

I pulled my backpack, with a blink of an eye I made it a pillow. Then, land my head and vent my vexation on it. Fortunately, my backpack only contained clothes. So, it's just the tenderness I feel. I closed my eyes and decided to fall asleep instead of having to listen to William's bullshit there.

10 Minutes later, then,

My eyes were forced open. I can't fall asleep. Everything that happened today came back when I started to close my eyes. Ugh, my hand is massaging my temple. My eyes stared straight at Agatha's backpack.

"Maybe I should check the contents?" I ask myself. My hand moved and immediately grabbed the black backpack. I took the phone in my pants pocket and turned on the flashlight to give me some light.

I pointed the light at Agatha's backpack. Slowly, I pulled the zipper on the largest part. My breath was restrained as I began to open the contents. Oh, there's just a pile of clothes and some copies of our script. I let go of my breath with great relief.

My breath was held back when a small glint flashed at the very bottom of the backpack. Under that pile of clothes, there was something there. My left finger immediately spilled all the contents of the backpack.

My eyes widened in disbelief at what I found. There's a celurit, a kitchen knife and some razor blades. I immediately turned my brain and thought hard. Why did Agatha bring these things? Okay, I can understand with a kitchen knife. We use it to cut vegetables. But celurit and razor blades?

I touched my head, it felt like my brain would explode just by thinking about it. I pensively for a moment. I thought we had just arrived on this island. Everything was fine until Agatha suddenly disappeared. Then, the masked man appeared out of nowhere. Jason has not yet revealed his nose and now packs Agatha with these sharp objects.

"Agatha, what exactly do you want to do?" My inner.

I re-packaged the contents of the Agatha backpack and kept it to its original place. Then, try to sleep for a moment. At the very least, I should gather some energy before meeting that masked person again. I have to prove it with my own eyes, if she really is Agatha.

Seriate...
