Deal, We're Married!
Part 9's

"Ed, are you home?" kaylin asked as she walked over to the man.

"You haven't answered my question, Kay, what are you planning?" Edgar asked again, because he had seen the woman smiling meaningfully.

"Nothing, is that why you're always suspicious of me?" kaylin grumbled with her lips pursed.

"How unsuspecting if he saw that horrible smile," Edgar pulled a squeeze on Kaylin's lips.

"Ed..." Kaylin clapped the hands of the handsome man named Edgar in a fit of anxiety. "Oh yeah, don't you usually go home fast? ask them to divert their conversation.

Edgar sighed as he walked towards the kitchen to fetch some drinking water. "I have to get ready, because tomorrow I'm going to Japan" Edgar explained as he sat in the dining room.

"Well.. Can I come?" asked Kaylin, who was sitting next to Edgar.

"Kay, I was there to work. Not for fun."

"Ish, you're so fucking miserly."

"If I'm a miser, you won't let me stay here." Edgar ruffled Kaylin's hair in a fit of anxiety.

"Ed..." Kaylin stood up from her seat, then walked behind the man. Hugged his neck from behind tightly. "You are the best."

"Better than Kenan?"

Kaylin shrugged both of her shoulders, while releasing her embrace around Edgar's neck.

"You don't miss him? You haven't seen each other in a long time." Edgar drinks his drink.

"Why do I miss him? Because I'll be back in a minute to Jakarta."

Uhuk

Edgar spouted his drinking water, when he heard Kaylin's words, he did not expect Kaylin to come home. It has been almost two months since the woman insisted she would not return to Jakarta.

"Who said? I was happy. Because no more spoiled and chatty women will trouble me."

"Oh my goodness, you're so mean." Kaylin was about to leave the room, before her hand was pulled by Edgar.

"You're going back to Jakarta, does that mean Kenan agreed to your request?" ask Edgar seriously.

Kaylin nodded her head. "She finally wants to."

"Ck, Kenan always complies with whatever you ask. Even marrying a woman she doesn't know she wants to." Edgar shook his head.

"Hey, something has to be done! Two months, it took two months for her to agree to my request. He always said yes." Kaylin said as she walked into the room, leaving Edgar shaking his head again.

Meyer Mansion.

In a monochrome workspace, a handsome man with a firm line on his face was staring at the laptop screen. The two amber eyes focused on reading the report given by his right hand, which manages a subsidiary in Australia.

"Sir, Miss Kaylin said it would come one day before your wedding." Report Bram after contacting Miss Kaylin who is currently in Singapore.

"Em.." replied Kenan without turning his eyes on the laptop screen.

"Are you going to invite Mrs Meyer?" bram asked cautiously, fearing that his master would be provoked with emotion as he had been.

Kenan who originally focused on his work, now leaned his body on the chair while clenching both hands. Somehow every time she heard her mother's name called, made her blood pressure rise. The shadows of the past when the woman left her family for the sake of the richer man, made her anger and sadness mixed into one.

"I think he's busy with his family" said Kenan flatly, and chose to refocus on his work.

Bram, who understood her master's answer, chose silence and did not ask further about Madame Meyer. "Pity Mr. Kenan, because of two women he lost faith in love. Hopefully Miss Cleo can make Mr. Kenan's cold heart warm." Bram murmured in the heart.
