De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past

De Lawrence: Ambition of the Past
Be a Night Star's

Two women of different ages were lying on the green grass facing the night sky filled with a sprinkling of stars that shone beautifully.

"He must be there." Jessie pointed to one of the brightest stars among the others.

After giving a long and patient explanation about her mother, Naomi finally wanted to understand. Although he had to endure the pain after explaining to this still-growing girl, it was better than having to continue getting caught up in his own thoughts.

"Will my mom come home?"

Since saying that her mother had become the most beautiful star in the night sky, Naomi did not want to take her eyes off her at all.

"Mama can't go home. If he comes home, the sky will lose its light. Naomi wants the sky to be dark?"

The girl shook her head.

"Are they mothers like mothers?" Naomi pointed to another star.

"Hm hm's. They all showed up to see the children" he replied, "I believe ... Those who are precious will always shine like those stars." Jessie also looked on with a smile.

"My mom must be there with Naomi's mom, too."

"He's in heaven too?" Blue eyes started to look at him. Jessie smiled as she tucked Naomi's hair behind her ears.

"Rubber. My mommy is in heaven too. Maybe he's friends with Mama Naomi."

The girl immediately smiled revealing her neat teeth.

"Naomi also wants to have friends like Mama!" her enthusiasm.

"of Course. We're friends!"

Naomi smiled happily again, but before long the smile disappeared turning moody.

"What's wrong?"

"Naomi would be happier if you were a mom" she said, "can't you?" Even so, the desire is still there.

"Sorry," Jessie replied regretfully.

"Naomi understands. Naomi will call sister!"

There was no feeling of a drop of water flowing gently from the corner of his eye. Why it feels so painful. He could not bear to see this little girl have to accept the reality that was quite heavy at his age.

"You crying?" ask Naomi plain.

Realizing that, Jessie immediately deleted it. Whatisthis? His first tears after six years? And that was because of the little girl he had just met.

Jessie took him by the hand. Hiding Naomi in her warm embrace.

"You're very smart and beautiful. Naomi has to grow up well. I'll visit once in a while, ok?"

"Really's? Naomi happy!" pekiknya happy.

"I'm happy too!"

The two started laughing and joking together. That night had become the world of those two people. They enjoyed it as the last day and appreciated it.

Amidst the crowds that filled the airport, Naomi unceasingly hugged Jessie tightly. Today the girl helped usher in the return of the woman she considered mother.

There was Xavier who had only been paying attention since. And so did the same Alroy who observed him. Both of them did not want to interfere between the two women.

"You better remember well what I said" Alroy said quietly so as not to be heard by others.

"There's no need to remind me," Xavier sighed softly, "it's precisely you who should remember my words!"

"I won't do anything until he knows it himself" replied Alroy fixedly staring ahead.

"What are you talking about?" ask Ellard suddenly. Can't stand to see the two as they whisper. Jessie looked at them.

"It's nothing," flat Xavier starts grabbing his and his wife's suitcase.

"See you later, sweetie." Jessie left a lot of kisses on Naomi's face.

"Good bye, Mama," whispered Naomi. Jessie just smiled.

"See you, Brother!" he shouted as they started to move away.

Jessie waved her hand as well as Naomi. Seeing that the girl had disappeared among the crowd, the smile on Jessie's lips disappeared.
