Day [Life]: Incarnation
Warzones

I patted Zena's back slowly then followed her fallen movements. My sword had me tied to both of my waist because Meli was on my back.

"Hold a minute. We'll be there."

Since this was the reality, it was absolutely impossible to use teleportation magic. There is no teleportation magic in this world.

There are games, but not in this world. The magic never existed and no one knew it.

"Hup..."

I ended up carrying it just like back then. The daughter's arms that I returned to do in order to reach the safe area. His eyes were tightly closed by her. His breathing became irregular.

Was she traumatized by blood? I said in my heart. I don't know what the problem is, the most important thing is that I have to take him.

I then drove a little quickly past the group of people from the forest. Their gazes looked like exhaustion and fear mixed into one. The children were carried and looked exhausted and hungry. This situation is very sad for them.

...****************...

On the other side of the city, the mysterious demon lord was preparing his army. His combat strength had increased drastically. All the demonic creatures he gathered together became one.

"Yahaha!!"

He laughed on the throne chair that was raised 2 pairs of demonic creatures below him.

"Our power has increased!!"

His voice echoed through the entire forest. Now his army will come in 5 hours. The entire city army and adventurers had been waiting. They don't know what will happen to them.

...****************...

While I put down the limp Zena due to her relapsing trauma, Meli had woken up from her sleep and looked around in bewilderment.

"Where is this?"

He said while still looking confused.

"We're in a different place."

I answered him and sat down near Zena who had become better than before.

"Hm?"

Meli then approached and sat on the sidelines between me and Zena. He then straightened his legs and leaned his head against Zena's body with a happy face and went back to sleep.

"It's really exhausting for you, huh?"

Said Zena who then fell asleep under the lush trees and gusts of wind hit.

I put Zena and Meli not far from the citizens under a large, dense tree. Since I felt like the two of them were a little cold from the wind blowing, I gave them a rather large cloth and then enveloped them.

"You two like enjoying it, huh...?"

My words then stood up while sighing with fatigue while looking at the two of them.

...****************...

In the city, the soldiers and adventurers were fighting hard against the army of demonic beings led directly by the demon lord or perhaps more precisely the humans claiming to be demon kings?

"Don!! Don't tremble! We'll get help from the royal army! We just need to hold him!"

Shouted one of the soldiers loudly. The soldiers and adventurers were a little daunted by the number that exceeded estimates. "It looks like these demonic beings have received some help." It was a word spoken by one of the soldiers slowly.

"Groan!!!!"

"Nohh!!!"

The soldiers and adventurers responded with undaunted voices. The atmosphere was heating up and they were fighting with a burning spirit.

The sound of a bang, the clashing of iron, the cheers of spirit, the cries of fear, the moans of sorrow, the moans of pain mixed in one place. Yuma City had become a battlefield.

"Wahaha, man, weak!"

Said one of the demons in a haughty tone while swinging its long claws.

"Damn! Their strength is huge!"

Say one of the adventurers who fought the demonic creature. While wiping his sweat he threw his saliva to the side.

"Haha! You are the weak one!"

The demonic creature said it so haughtily that its aura came out.

The demon beasts continued to suppress the city army and continued to barge into the city. Those who hold back the army of demonic creatures are only waiting for the arrival of help from the kingdom that will come in 1 day. They must last up to 1 day.

The troops from the kingdom had arrived but the city army had been wiped out by the demonic creatures. The city that was once filled with buildings, has been flattened into an arid land. Some of the trees still standing were charred from the fire. The royal troops who saw the condition were astonished especially their captain.

"What's going on? Are we late?"

There was a whisper among the soldiers.

Some say "The truth is.." or even "Nothing is left..?" They even trembled after seeing that. Yet, something moved from within the rubble.

*rek.

A broken wood was heard moving and a hand appeared with many blood wounds on it.

The captain immediately moved along with his 2 bodyguards and immediately helped. A woman in a blood-filled dress, her hair was also tangled in rubble. His hands were full of wounds from being buried.

The entire army was shocked and whispered to each other again.

"Quick bring healing warriors!!"

The captain quickly shouted and the entire army fell silent. Hearing that remark, one of the women with full armor came forward and approached the captain.

"Given!"

Her speech.

"Take care of him!"

The captain immediately gave the order.

"Good!"

He reluctantly treated the woman with [Recovery] magic. Instantly the wounds all over his body disappeared and returned as usual. Her gloomy face turned even more beautiful.

The entire soldier was a little surprised but tried to remain silent.

"I... Healed...?"

He then looked at his entire body that had healed. The female soldier then gave her a large towel to cover her body.

The captain came closer.

"What's going on? Quickly report."

Without further ado, the captain immediately asked the woman a question.

"...."

He could not digest the captain's question.

"Huf... All right, what's the last time you did?"

The captain found out and changed the question.

"We were attacked, then..."

He draws water from both eyes. He slipped through his cheek and then fell.

"The army of demonic creatures is too strong, so we can't hold it in 1 day..."

"Hou, you're a soldier too huh?"

The woman was apparently a city soldier.

"Yes, we were assigned with adventurers to hold back the demonic creatures until help arrived..."

"Then everything disappeared in an instant?"

"Yes... Even though we only ask for the help of S-rank adventurers to the lowest A-rank. Our strength is not enough..."

He then wiped his tears that kept flowing.

"Good spell, your report will be presented to your Majesty."

The captain turned around then the healing soldier lowered his head and returned to the line.

"ah! But the citizens survived. At least bring them along.."

Her speech.

"Hm? Then show me the location."

Then he turned back.

"All right."

The woman walked over and the captain gave a signal to the line to follow them both.

Seemed from afar a demonic creature was spying on the troops. He then turned around when he saw them start walking into the forest.

he then knelt on a wooden throne in front of him.

"Alright, say it."

Her speech. With a slight nod he opened his mouth.

"The troops seem to be taking the citizens. Are we going to ambush them?"

"Hm...? Ambushed huh? All right, divide our army into 2."

The demon creature nodded.

"The first team will be waiting near there. Then when the first army ambushes, the second army will come in from behind them."

A plan was laid out and then he laughed. All the demonic creatures looked happy and then partied a little.
