Dark Kingdom's

Dark Kingdom's
alert

The children smiled sweetly, while not letting go of his embrace of Abigail.

"The war is over because of brother" said one of the children enthusiastically.

"He's our Queen now, don't act recklessly" Shafa said, trying to separate the children from his queen. Shafa was afraid that his queen would feel uncomfortable in this situation.

"It's okay Syafa" Abigail said firmly.

"The adults say, if you don't come here then the war will continue" said the little girl.

"That's right, every night we were always vigilant our ears were always closed by Dad so as not to hear the sound of a gripping fight and creeps fear. But not anymore. We never heard a swipe of the sword and again we did not hear the chant of magic-" They told an enthusiastic story of passionate excitement.

Abigail smiled wryly, sad to hear the stories of innocent children. The extent of the injuries and traumas we inflict on children from each kingdom.

Abigail stroked the children's heads. Amazingly the children smiled happily and were not attached to the dark past or tried to blame one of the parties.

"Thank you for not hating me" Abigail murmured.

"Well, I want to know your names?!" Abigail looked at them, trying to seem friendly.

"I, I'm Patra" he answered with enthusiasm, raising his hand "Then this little girl Lily and that boy Tama" he replied as he jumped up and pointed at his friend.

Abigail chuckled, they were so cute and sweet. Plain kids with clear hearts.

"That's it, cool name" Abigail praised.

"Hey!" Said a shy-looking little boy, he had not come close and was just observing from a distance.

Abigail looked at the boy confused.

"Oh, the boy's name is Varus" Patra said.

The boy walked over in embarrassment, he even walked over with his head down. Both hands are hidden behind his back.

Abigail was astonished at "What are you hiding?" Abigail, trying to peek at what Varus is hiding.

Varus was silent for quite a while, he looked timid.

"Your stream makes us wait!" Lily looked upset.

Varus turned his head "me-, I didn't mean to" Varus and Abigail's eyes accidentally met, with Varus quickly turning his gaze away.

Abigail approached Varus "it is not good to make others curious" Abigail looked at Varus, asking him to immediately say her point.

Varus lowered his head, Abigail flinched. He just realized that he had scared a little child with a pressing speech.

Varus took out the hand he had hidden, in his hand a beautiful red flower.

"The color of the flower is the same as that of a noble eye" he said tremblingly.

Instantly Abigail fell silent, she was filled with Varus's attitude. Throughout his life he always ignored the things he liked included in liking flowers, because Abigail had to be a strong figure.

"So you picked it up for me?" Abigail looked at Varus inside.

Varus nodded quickly.

Abigail received the flower that Varus gave "Thank you, I'll keep it"

"Right on" Varus looked up at Abigail in disbelief.

Abigail nodded with a sweet smile on her lips.

Today was not bad, meeting and laughing together with the sweet children made Abigail feel it was possible that she could survive in a new place.

How could Abigail not keep it, the flower had great meaning to Abigail. Flowers given by a sincere little boy. And for the first time she was given flowers in person.

Unceasingly Abigail stared at the flower, it felt like something was tickling her heart "Is this a feeling of pleasure?!" Abigail touched her chest, she gave a small smile.  The feeling Abigail had never felt, it felt so strange to her.

Abigail paused for a moment, walking towards the window gazing towards the Xanax forest that was the border of the two kingdoms. There was no visible black smoke billowing, or any more magical radiance, which meant that peace was truly happening. Abigail still doesn't believe the war is over.

"Am I dreaming" murmured Abigail.

Abigail sighed, all this really happened. He did not have to spend his time fighting.

Kriet's...

Door opens.

Abigail slowly turned her head, Karan entered in his sleeping pajamas with a clear chest.

Abigail was aghast "Hail the noble" said politely Abigail slightly lowered her head.

"You don't have to do that, you and I have the same status" Karan said.

"Well, if you have said so" replied Abigail, standing firm.

They both looked awkward, and looked confused. Then Karan sat down on the bed slowly, he began to break the silence "How are you?"

"Good" Replied.

"How about going around today?" Karan was really trying to melt the atmosphere between the two.

"I think we should speed up the care of the destroyed settlements. Pay attention to enough food, and their clothes. Then it feels good to meet sweet children who are sincere" said Abigail, she was not even able to hide her happy face because she met the children as well as them.

Karan looked relieved. He was worried that Abigail would be uncomfortable or hate this place.

"Then about the first night yesterday. I'm sorry I kept you waiting" Karan said sincerely apologizing.

"No problem, at least for now. As you know we are being watched by two camps. Nobles who approve peace and nobles who do not approve this peace from two kingdoms together" Abigail replied.

Karan clenched his fingers, now bad rumors are spreading among the people. Many say she ignored her bride, on the first night. It was very disturbing to Karan, especially if the matter was heard until the ears of the King of the Dark Kingdom would be very dangerous.

"Are you coming because you're worried about rumors?" Actually Abigail tried to close her ears, not want to care about the things people say. Abigail heard everything, whispered the servant who knew that Abigail had not spent the night with Karan. It will surely spread among the people and the nobles.

"You don't have to worry, it won't be a problem. Peace will continue. It's just that I hope you'll be wiser in your attitude. At least pretending to be warm in front of people, I think it will be enough to blow away the rumors and the tension will slowly disappear" Abigail said.

Karan is speechless, he knows everything happened because of his own mistakes. How could he forget that he was married that day.

Abigail approached, standing right in front of Karan. Karan looked up at Abigail. The two of them stared at each other in silence. Karan, a handsome man with silver hair and blue eyes, looked extremely dignified truly reflecting the traits of his Kingdom. Slowly Abigail was about to release her pajamas Karan widened her eyes in disbelief at what Abigail was doing in front of her.

"What are you doing?" Karan even raised his voice so surprised by what Abigail wanted to do.

"Didn't you come for this? isn't this a must?" Abigail looked at Karan blankly, her gaze disinterested, but due to the necessity she did this.

Karan is getting annoyed "Don't let go!!" press it.

Abigail stopped "So what are you here for?" Abigail asked confusedly.

"I came to sleep" Karan threw his body into the bed.

Abigail was more astonished, she remembered the words of the servant who taught etiquette before marriage. Her maid said after becoming a wife the thing Abigail had to do was serve her husband. No need to hesitate to start first. That's what Abigail remembers. And that is to maintain this peace that has happened, like it or not it is his duty now.

"Maybe he won't do it with me, because I'm a descendant of the Dark Kingdom with dark magic. Aye! he certainly wouldn't want to contaminate his descendants with my dark magic" Abigail's mind assumed.

Abigail went up to the bed and laid her body down. No conversation was going on, they were both awake all night, they were watching. Be wary of each other, however, they were once mortal enemies who would not easily trust each other. Betrayal could happen at any time, it was even seen from the first time Karan treated Abigail, it was enough for Abigail to think about the bad possibility that Karan was planning, added Karan who refused to get in touch with him.
