CURSE EYE'S
Chapter 23
The room was quiet, and Keyla's mother and father were still shocked to read the letter from the Principal about Keyla's dismissal.
"Yes while you rest at home, papa and mama will find a solution to this problem." Papa Keyla said to Keyla.
"Ma, Pa, I'm gonna take a break in my room". Keyla said then moved off the sofa.
"Son Rico, you were Keyla's friend here today, yeah, auntie's afraid she's depressed if left alone in the room." Mama Keyla told Rico.
That day Rico accompanied Keyla all day at her house. Keyla looked pensively in her room.
"Key, you're patient, I'll try to help you get back to school." Obviously Rico.
"Everything is impossible Co, even if I go back to school but I am sure the teachers and the principal must have hated me" he said.
Rico was really sad to hear what Keyla said. Why would an innocent girl like Keyla have to go through this? Rico turned to Keyla's forehead, his burn scars getting louder. Because it has not been cured the eyes of the curse has reappeared which makes the natural scar more burned.
"Co, it looks like at school there's a former graveyard, because yesterday I heard the ghost of the floating head say that someone took the land in his residence." Keyla.
Rico then remembered the time he saw a lot of sand dust in the classroom, no doubt it was a graveyard. Rico then tells Keyla that.
"Co, I know who put the graveyard soil in the school." Keyla said, her eyes turned dark and empty all of a sudden.
"Who's Key?" Ask Rico.
"Bryan and Monic" Keyla said.
Rico agrees with Keyla, who did all that must be Bryan and Monic because they are both the source of the problems that occur at this time. But what can be done now? It all seems too late. Keyla was expelled from school.
Keyla looked pale, it seemed like all this was a burden on the mind in his brain that made his physique so disturbed.
"Key, what if I take you to the city park tonight? So that your mind is fresher" said Rico.
"May Co." Keyla smile.
Keyla seems to have lost her school, but Rico tries to keep Keyla entertained despite Keyla's odd appearance lately.
Before leaving Rico put a bandage and cotton pad on Keyla's forehead.
"Key, if there's anything on the way please let me know." Rico said soothingly.
Keyla just nodded and smiled, for some reason lately Keyla looks different, never jokes again and her eyes are always empty and even dark.
A few minutes later they both left for the city park. Rico invites Keyla to have fun that afternoon, ranging from taking her _shopping, sitting around casually near the park fountain, and taking Keyla to her favorite bookstore.
"Key.. " Rico's voice gently called out to him.
Keyla turned her head and smiled "Why co?"
"Gue beg whatever happens don't stay me yes" said Rico then clasped Keyla's hand.
Keyla's eyes seemed to be full of water, everyone even shunned him now and considered him a monster, but Rico had just uttered a different sentence from the people.
Keyla then hugged Rico and cried.
"Key if only you could pour _magic water in some areas of the school that have been polluted by the grave land, surely the school will return clean from the demons of heaven." Rico Said.
Rico is right Keyla should do that even though it seems too late to do it now.
"Lo's right Co., tomorrow I'll come to school carrying that magic water."
Keyla spent the night in the city park with Rico. Seeing the flickering stars, the cool air and the splashing sound of the fountain in the corner of the city made Keyla's heart more calm than having to fall alone in the room.
"Co, can I not be the same?" Keyla.
"What is Key?" Rico replies and then looks at Keyla.
"Why aren't you afraid of me like everyone else? I'm a monster." Keyla said with her teary eyes.
" Keyla, I don't see any flaws in you at all, let alone look at you as told by others, instead I feel you're perfect in my eyes Key." Obviously Rico then rubbed Keyla's hair.
Rico then looked at his watch, it was already 10 p.m.
"We go home, it's late at night." Said Rico.
They both rushed home and left the place.
Arriving at Home, Keyla found her house deserted, there was no car of her father there.
"Sleepy anyway? Where are papa and mama? " Murm Keyla.
"Try Key's phone".
"Hello pa, where's papa?" Ask Keyla on the phone.
"Son Keyla, papa and mama were on the phone bi Edah said his son was in an accident, now papa and mama are still at Bi Edah's house. You wait a little while at home and I'll be with Rico."
"Where's Key?" Ask Rico.
"Say papa's still at Edah Co's bi's house"
"Yes, I've been here until papa mama you return home." Rico Said.
"Lo gapapa Co? It's late at night, how's mama papa lo nyariin?"
"Haha I'm a boy Key, I'm at this hour usually still hanging out at the stall deket house equally temen." Answer Rico.
The two of them then entered the house.
"Co, I'm sleepy." Keyla.
"Yaudah you sleep, I will take care of you until morning." Rico Said.
Rico was so worried about Keyla that even a second he left Keyla alone was very anxious for Rico.
A few minutes later Keyla fell asleep, Rico still sitting next to her.
Rico looked at the face of Keyla who was asleep before him, that face was very pretty and sweet despite the burn marks on her forehead.
Rico looked around Keyla's room, then moved from her seat and towards Keyla's study desk in the corner of her bedroom. There's a little diary there. Rico was curious and opened the little pink-covered diary.
On the first page there is a photo of papa and his mother, and there is a small writing under him dear to you, then on the second page there is a photo of Keyla and her sister, Yella. The following pages contain writings about his days in school lonely, ostracized and in bully, the writings were natural to Rico made by girls the age of Keyla, Keyla, but when Rico opens the next sheet there is a photo of him, it looks like the photo was taken by Keyla during extracurricular activities at school, looks like Rico is wearing basketball clothes. Rico smiled, he just found out that Keyla had been secretly taking pictures. Behind his indifferent and innocent-looking attitude it turns out that the girl can keep things this romantic in her diary
Then Rico opened the next page, but the page made Rico shocked, there was written a date and the day right with the clock, there was written I was very sick with your treatment, you know, I hope one day you will feel this pain more than I feel and with my own hands will do it. Rico closed the book. I don't know why it's goosebumps, "it's just writing but why does it feel like something terrible?" Inner Rico.
