#gratitude
As soon as this time passes, until I unknowingly leave tomorrow to continue my education. It feels hard to leave my family and loved ones behind, but my departure cannot be undone either. My determination to become a doctor and provide the best service for people who cannot afford it. A lot of people are unlucky to go to college, but I have to be grateful that I was able to study in a place that many people want.
Since the morning mama was busy in the kitchen with aunt Amel, Echa and aunt. Yes, mama again asked Aunt Amel for help to prepare some dishes this afternoon. Mama and I plan to hold a banquet for orphans, custadz, and relatives, friends and neighbors around, this banquet as a thanksgiving for my graduation and as well as my farewell to others. I hope that the more they come, the more good they do for me.
Since then I have been engrossed in seeing Echa who is processing snacks and cakes. He seemed diligent and meticulous about doing everything himself. Echa is fond of making various cakes and snacks market. Maybe he got that talent from aunt Amel who has been proficient in the culinary world. Not infrequently occasionally I judge Echa who is busy decorating the cake. Instantly Echa clucked in annoyance and showed a sour face. It's funny, even when he's upset, he looks adorable.
The event will be held after Ashar. Before the guests began to arrive, my father and I helped Mr. Ujang to tidy up the place to be used. I started to neatly arrange some chairs and tables. While on the outside, Mama has hired the services of E. From one of my mother's acquaintances. Mama also asked the teenagers of the mosque to help aunty arrange the dishes. My mom would give them a gift. Ripe food is decorated in such a way on the table. There is beef rendang, fried chicken kalasan, vegetable capcay, balado potato chips, and vegetable soup is still warm and shrimp crackers as a complement. As for other menus, mama also provides a variety of dimsum, meatballs, serabi, various cakes and snacks market and not to forget mama also provides ice fruit.
One by one invited guests began to arrive, followed by friends, neighbors and relatives. Looks papa is welcoming the arrival of ustadz who came with the orphans, I politely drove them to enter the house. To listen to the tausyiah from ustadz, we sat on the carpet in the living room. This time the theme is about gratitude and obligation as a Muslim. Ustadz explains the importance of gratitude for all the blessings we have, as well as how obedient we are in doing our duty as a Muslim. This theme is very simple, but not a few of us are neglecting.
Ustadz closes tausiah with do'a together. After that, we shared a little bit of sustenance with the orphans. Guests began to taste the various dishes available, happiness emanated clearly on the faces of disadvantaged brothers. I looked at their faces one by one, happy faces enjoying the dishes served. Several times they were seen laughing and judging each other. The footsteps drew closer to where I was standing, a second later Echa stood beside me.
"I noticed the older brother from earlier smiling to himself? For donk if you're happy, don't keep it to yourself." Ask Echa while glancing towards Adit.
"Do you know or want to know? Tell me, huh?" Adit answered while forwarding his index finger to the chin.
Echa bends her face in response to Adit's words. His lips were a school manyun sign that he was upset by Adit's answer.
"Astaghfirullah, howling his face. Look out, I can pull my lips later. Keep your cheeks too I pull them both." Say Adit who wants to pinch Echa's cheek.
Echa reflexes away and holds both of her cheeks. He was really scared if Adit pinched his chubby cheek. React alone Adit was heartbroken to see Echa who retreated to fear.
"So bad brother, what if my cheeks are red and swollen? It's not funny, brother." Echa held back the upset.
"No way dear dong, I also won't have the heart to see you like that. If I did pinch your cheeks, surely also will not be red let alone swollen. If I'm in omelin all-out with aunt Amel." Adit Pungkas.
"I watched the brothers laugh and eat voraciously." Timpal Adit pointed at the orphans in front of him.
"Snorts can see them so, thank God we can still share and see them smiling happily." Echa sincerely.
"Yes, cha. They were also one of my reasons for going to the medical world. I want to provide free medical care to people who are less fortunate. And hopefully it can happen." Say Adit again.
"Aamiin O Allah. May God keep the do'a and brother's good intentions." Echa assures do'a Adit.
"Thank you, cha. I also need support from you, do you want to always support me?"
Adit's friends begin to arrive at Adit, Rafi and Mutia are also seen among them. While Lia and Tika walked after the two. Adit and Echa welcome their arrival. Immediately allow them to start tasting the various dishes that have been provided. Love it, laughter broke that night, everyone was happy. Some people started whispering seeing Rafi and Mutia who looked intense and friendly. Until finally, Rafi opened her voice and explained their relationship. The clapping rang out loud, all congratulating Rafi and Mutia.
Some neighbors and relatives are also cool with their respective chats, today everyone gather together and race to spread a smile. But in the midst of the fanfare there, there was a girl who looked glum. The girl is none other than Echa, Echa feels sad to face tomorrow. Tomorrow, Adit will leave everyone he loves here.
Like knowing what Echa was thinking, Adit suddenly clasped Echa's hand tightly. As if giving a little flow of spirit to the girl he considers special.
"Don't be like this, cha. I feel sad if you are like this, you know if I can be affected easily. I could've abruptly canceled my departure." Say Adit with a clean slit.
Echa immediately changed her facial expression, with Echa firmly showing a happy face. Echa doesn't want to be an Adit barrier.
"I'm sorry, brother. Sorry for ruining my brother's mood." Echa regrets her mistake.
Echa took something from the sling bag she was wearing. A navy box and decorated with gold ribbons.
"Save this with brother, hopefully someday it can help brother." Echa puts the box into Adit's hands.
Adit receives the Echa gift box and opens it immediately. Adit's eyes sparkled to see the contents in the box, 2 glass bottles filled with clear concentrated liquid. Slowly Adit opened the bottle and sniffed the liquid inside. Adit could not believe what he got, Adit turned to Echa and smiled broadly.
The bottle contained the perfume liquid that Echa made herself, the perfume that Echa always wore all this time. Perfume that captivated Adit. Adit hugged Echa tightly. Adit shed a tear in Echa's arms, Echa's small attention means a lot to her.
"I'll take good care of him, cha. Thank you." Thank you." Adit clasped Echa's hand and kissed her.
Feeling treated very special, Echa cried. Echa's eyes even look red and puffy at this time. For example, she is not a girl who likes to wear excessive makeup, if not possible this time Echa's face has been filled with faded mascara.
The sun began to slip westward, one by one the guests began to say goodbye. Adit and Echa's friends also began to say goodbye. Now the Adit and Echa families are gathered at the dinner table. While aunt and others were tidying up the event venue.
"Tomorrow we'll take Adit to the next town, do you intend to come?" Ask Papa Adit to Echa's parents.
"Maybe, bro. Tomorrow we have no plans to travel." Answer papa Echa.
Secretly Adit and Echa smiled satisfied to hear the chatter of the two. At least there's still tomorrow for them to meet one last time.

At 09.00 am the Echa family arrived at the Adit residence. Adit's parents deliberately took time in the morning to avoid traffic jams. Adit and Echa's parents are in the same car, while Adit and Echa drive their own car with Inayah. Both cars go hand in hand, Adit and Pak Ujang drive casually.
