Darren came down the stairs today, it was time he picked up Alea, actually Darren wanted to torture Alea longer to take a taxi or be with his driver however, Darren wanted to torture her for longer, his heart could not accept that letting Alea out of his control, Darren felt uneasy if Alea was out of the reach of his eyes, although he hated Alea, he felt that he could not let the woman go without news for too long, or that she would go crazy...

Darren passed his father when Darius wanted to take the elevator..

''Darren..about our cooperation agreement with company S, a copy has been done by my secretary Linda, can you see it before the final decision later.'' Pinta Darius..

And Darren nodded his head..

''I'll check on him father.'' said Darren then stepped past Darius..

''Ehm.You go where Darren is.' asked Darius to turn..

''I don't want him wandering off campus, I can punish him....''

Darius decided he could no longer allow Darren to be cruel to Alea..

''Darren.about Alea..ayah wants to talk.'' said Darrius then stepped first towards the park..

the pair of father and son sat facing each other in the garden with sharp gazes, Darren glanced at the watch in his hand while looking at Darius..

''Dad.I don't have much time, I do a lot of work after picking up Alea.'' said Darren in a huff..

Darius looked at Darren with a hint of regret on his face,

''Or are you Darren between you and Erland only you who inherit everything from me, ambition, power, and desire...''

Darren freezes.he groans...

Darren was unable to say anything and just silently looked at the father with an illegible look. how could the father he had been defending was a criminal and instead he tortured Alea who was actually a newspaper just like him...?

Darius smiled and patted Darren on the shoulder while pulling him from the daydream,

''Fix your relationship with your wife Darren, I honestly love her very much and I don't want you to hurt her...''

Darren looked at Darius who looked serious..

''Dad,.....''

''Alea already has no one in this world but us as her family especially you as her husband.dad wants you to know if I really respect your relationship, Alea is like my son and not my son-in-law.bless him Darren, never let the bad father and mother happen first will repeat in your household, you certainly don't want your children to experience everything like you and Erland do...''

''Dad apologized for everything you did in Darren's past, and right now you just want to live a quiet life...

Would...it would look strange if he suddenly changed his attitude..? Alea's gonna think she's unstable, yeah...Darren will slowly change his attitude.of course he does not want to lose Alea let alone let go...Darren shook his head firmly.he should pick up Alea now...

Darren got up from the seat with light steps, he then stepped towards the car, to pick up his wife Alea...

Darren cleared his throat when he heard the sound of the doorknob opening, why did he feel nervous to realize Alea was approaching..? Darren hardened his gaze, trying to act as cold as possible.

Alea came in with a cup of coffee and some small cookies.he looked at Darren from behind and felt afraid...what if Darren was still angry and would torture him...??

''Ehmm...Darren, do you.you.want to drink coffee....''

Darren turned his head and found Alea's fingers trembling with just his gaze, and Darren guessed that if he snapped then Alea would faint...

''Lay on Alea's table....''

Alea nodded then placed the tray on the table and sat there, looking at Darren.

''Hmm...........''

''Forgive me. So I actually.....''

Alea froze as Darren pulled his body to fall into his arms....

Silence, when their warm breath greets each other...Darren raised the corner of his lips and brought his face closer.....

''Alea...''

''Well...'' Alea replied nervously....

Darren smiled again..His lips approached, and glanced at Alea's pink lips.His ears touched the surface of Alea's lips...
