Conscious After a Treasure Depleted
Meeting Old Friends

On the weekend Erni invites Zarina to shop at the supermarket. While they were wandering around, they were suddenly startled by a voice that was crying out to call Zarina by name. Both of them turned towards the source of the voice.

A man still wearing an office shirt walked towards them.

"Who is he?" whispered Erni to Zarina.

Zarina held her forehead, as if she was trying to remember who the man who walked towards her was. Getting closer, Zarina was very curious because it seemed like this man knew her very well while he already did not remember who the man was.

The man reached out his hand to shake Zarina's hand with a fluffy smile.

Zarina greeted the hand with doubt.

"Who's dad?" ask in doubt.

"Hhmmm, you never change well, still remain as stubborn as you once were. But, by the way you're more beautiful, your face is not the first who makes men afraid to approach," said the man with a patter of laughter.

Zarina was confused. This man knows his personality very well.

"Wait first... Ehh..," said Zarina who seemed to be thinking hard.

"Come, guess..who were you always insulting when we were in blue white uniforms?"

Is this man Hendra, Danu, or Alex? Zarina still tries to remember her friends while sitting in Junior High. There are three male friends who like to nosy and bother him but Zarina always insulted them with harsh words and when entering High School they were still one school but had different classes so never again disturbing Zarina.

The man before him currently had a handsome face but not as handsome as the face of Mr. Alga. His body was stocky and his skin was tanned, eyes rather large with pliable eyelashes, and thick hair that was pitch black.

Zarina compares with her friends in Junior High but is very difficult to guess.

"Udah fit well, know me Hendra Artawan," said the man named Hendra while once again shaking Zarina's hand tightly.

"Hendra... !!!" zarina exclaimed loudly unconsciously so that it became the center of attention of the visitors in the supermarket.

The two hugged each other because they missed each other without caring about the people around them. Not to forget Zarina introduced Erni to Hendra and they went to find a safe place so they could freely exchange stories and experiences after a long time apart.

While enjoying a fresh drink they began to tell stories and Erni also seemed to be familiar with Hendra even though she had just met.

Hendra was a humorous person so that occasionally heard laughter from them.

Hendra tells the story of his life experience who came to Jakarta to pit his fate and really started from scratch. He went through a long process full of the twists and turns of life even according to him he had worked as a garbage collector for six months to survive.

Zarina and Erni were deeply moved by Hendra's words. They shed tears.

"Where do you work now?" asked Zarina curiously.

Before replying, Hendra inhaled air and exhaled slowly.

Then he continued his story.

He accidentally helped a senile grandmother while scavenging on the side of the road. The grandmother was separated from the supervision of a guard so that it went in no direction until it was found by Hendra in a state of fainting. Incidentally, the boarding house where Hendra lived was not far from where he found the grandmother so he was not overwhelmed when carrying the old body to his boarding house.

After awakening, Hendra fed and drank his perfunctory style and the grandmother looked refreshed but very difficult to talk to because he was senile. Maybe because it has traveled a long way to make his legs no longer strong so he just lay down, sometimes sitting for a while and then lying down again.

Hendra took care of him wholeheartedly and he felt close to his family in the village. The income from scavenging is only small but he and his grandmother can always eat three times a day and also still be able to buy clothes for grandmothers and other needs.

A few months later Hendra Sudsh saved enough money to buy a cheap mobile phone. He really needs the object because in addition to being able to contact his mother and sisters in the village he also does not want to miss the news that is mostly accessible through the flat object.

After having a mobile phone he began to learn to fellow scavengers who already have a mobile phone to use several applications in it, including Facebook.

One day on a whim he uploaded a picture with his grandmother with the narrative "My grandmother is slang". In the photo, Grandma smiled sweetly while pointing her thumb like Hendra did and a few minutes later there was a message that entered in the Massenger application and asked for her mobile number.

After that he communicated with a man who claimed to be a close relative of the grandmother and asked for the address where Hendra lived.

Mr. Heru, a middle-aged lung man came to the address sent by Hendra in a luxury car. Pajero latest output. Although it comes with a luxury vehicle but the appearance of Mr. Heru looks mediocre.

Mr. Heru's wife died five years ago from hypertension until her blood clot broke and they only have a daughter who is married to a sultan and currently they live in Singapore.

Since then Mr. Hendra lived alone with his mother in the house and hired a maid and a nurse for his mother until one day his mother disappeared due to the neglect of the nurse.

Hendra also told in chronological detail about his meeting with his grandmother to take care of him until now and when Mr. Heru knew what Hendra's work was he cried as if to invite the attention of the other hostesses.

Hendra also cried with sadness when Mr. Heru said that he came to pick up the grandmother who was none other than his biological mother. His mother disappeared for about six months and during that time they also did not stay silent but continued to search to get a bright spot after someone saw Hendra's post on social media.

"It has been a good fortune to side with me since then because Mr. Hendrik raised me as a child and invited me to live and work in his house even all the living expenses of my mother and sisters in the village borne by him. Not only that, he built a house for them." Hendra ended the story while wiping away her tears that melted down her cheeks.

"A very inspiring true story, may your adoptive Father and his mother live happily and get abundant sustenance from the Creator!" Zarina.

"Amen!" said Hendra and Erni together.
