"Yank, I'm out to see you first ya.”
Maya nodded. “Iya, I took a shower first ya.”
“Ngga asked me? I'll ask you later.”
Maya shakes. “Ngga ah, shy.”
“Ya already, then I'm out.”
Maya nodded again.
Radit went straight to his friend who was outside. He thought who would think – guess, because his three best friends had come this afternoon. He did not invite many friends, only – friends of his closest friends were invited.
Radit walked out of the house. The atmosphere there already looks quiet, there are only a handful of people who are tidying up the remaining – parties.
Radit saw the back of a woman standing behind him. The man looked towards the village scenery that looked from there.
“Maura.”
The woman named by Radit looked over. “Dit.”
Radit approached Maura. “Hey, you got here.”
Maura smiled. This woman was Radit's first love in High School. The woman who was betrothed by her parents because they could not wait for Radit who was still in college. Maura's parents judge Radit not as successful as the man who became his choice. And, it is on this basis that Radit decides to quickly marry Maya. Maura who is experiencing problems in her household, making Radit a place of sighing. One time, they met because of an accident. Radit helps Maura, who sits alone at a stop near midnight, and, since then, has been seeing Radit. Even to his office. Radit, who did not want to give Maura hope, finally made this decision.
“So you've had a girlfriend all this time? I think not yet,” said Maura. “I think you can't forget me.”
Radit smiles. “Life does come and go, Ra.”
Maura turned again to the view, he stood quite far from Maya's house. And radit stood giving distance next to Maura. At a distance from both of them, there was a car. Radit looked at the car.
“You drive your own car? So far?”
Maura smiled. “It's normal, Dit. Even I've been to Jogja with this car.”
“Waw.”
Maura is an independent woman. Since High School, he has been adept at carrying four-wheeled vehicles. He even had that vehicle. Maura was born to a fairly well-to-do family, which is why Radit isn't sure if his family approves of their relationship. Sure enough, finally their love ran aground and Maura had regretted Radit who did not fight for it.
“You didn't fight for me, Dit. Even that time.” Maura said as she folded her hands on her chest.
“What can I fight for? I used to be in college and didn't have the provisions to take you away.”
“But not now.” Maura turned towards Radit.
“Now different,” replied Radit.
“I never loved him, Dit. Me and him want to split.”
“Sometimes what we think is good, is not necessarily actually good. We are suitable when we are still dating, but it could be that we are not suitable when we are married. There's nothing wrong with your husband, it's just that you haven't been able to accept it. Accept everything God has destined. Then, your path will be light.”
“You can talk like that because you found my replacement.”
Radit smiles. “Yes, I've been through that time. And, I think you've already passed it.”
Maura shakes. “Ak don't know.”
“Mas.”
Suddenly, Radit and Maura looked over.
“Eh, Yank. This is Mas Radit, his name is Maura.”
Radit immediately reached Maya's waist and introduced her to a former lover who until now was still a wife.
Radit did not take the opportunity when Maura was in trouble with her husband. Love is not blind, if it uses logic. And, Radit is a man full of consideration. He is grown up because of circumstances.
“Maura, this is my wife. Maya.”
Maya and Maura shake hands.
“Maura.”
“Maya.”
Maura smiled at Maya, and vice versa.
“It turns out, you like women who started M yes, Dit,” Maura said with a laugh.
Maya also scrunched her forehead.
“Inadvertently. Just so,” replied Radit grinned.
Maya smiles. “Thank you.”
He undergird. So far, Maya did see Radit like that and on that basis also Maya did not think twice to answer yes when Radit proposed to her.
“Alright, then I'm sorry.” Maura interrupted amidst the silence of the three of them who were no longer making a sound.
“Only that? Do not go inside and enjoy the dishes available,” said Radit.
“In still there?” ask Maura.
“There's the rest. Most of the chicken has lived bones or rendangnya already live the roof alone.”
Suddenly, Maura laughed. “Radit, you've always been like this. And this is what makes me unable to forget you.”
Maura turned to Maya, the woman who had been in Radit's hands to make him jealous and occasionally looked at the hand.
“I just want to meet the woman you chose, Dit. It turns out you did not choose it wrong.” Maura looked at Maya's soft face.
Maura steps towards her car, accompanied by Maya and Radit who accompany her guests home.
“Mbak really don't eat first? Radit's lying. Inside there is still a lot of food,” said Maya.
Maura shakes. “No thanks. I just want to congratulate you guys and ..”
Maura opened the door of her car, then pulled out a large gift. “Give this to you. This is a gift from me.”
Maya received the gift in the shape of a rectangle. “Thank you, Ma'am.”
Maura smiled. “Same – equals.”
Then Maura got into the car. Radit and Maya wave their hands as Maur is about to drive forward and open the window before – completely disappears from view.
Radit smiled at Maura's departure while embracing Maya's shoulder.
Maya looks towards her husband. “So, she's Mas's ex-girlfriend whom Mas told you about?”
Radit nodded. “Iya.”
The man also looked towards his wife. “You're not jealous right?”
Maya shakes. “Everyone has a past and I understand.”
Radit tightened that embrace. “You know why I chose you?”
Maya shakes.
“Because you are old before the time.”
Bugh
“Aaa ..” whine Maya. “Means I'm that old?”
Radit laughs. “Ralat, not old but mature.”
“Aaa .. said – first word was spoken from the heart, but the word – second word is spoken after logic.”
Radit gave a big smile and ruffled Maya's hair. “Smart.”
Radit took his wife to the house. They re-entered the house and entered the room after being blocked by – people who invited them to talk for a moment.
“Ah, finally get into the room as well.” Radit laid his body on the bed.
“Mas, shower first!”
Radit turned his head towards the wife who was currently sitting next to him. Radit is back. He approached Maya and sniffed the neck.
“Hm. I just smell it.”
“Mas, ticklish.”
Radit's getting rubbed into that nape.
“Mas, take a shower first. From earlier you have not been clean – clean as well," said Maya.
“Biarina. I can't stand it, Dek. Want to practice taught by Mas Alex.”
Maya's forehead immediately frowned. “Emang Sir Alex taught what?”
“There's deh.” Radit grinned and laid his wife's body.
Radit's about to start something new. He promised to be a good husband for Maya and a good father for her – children later. Radit learns from experience and will not make the same mistakes as Ridho used to.
