The Safest Place

The ceiling of the room became the first sight when Yera opened her eyes. His head ached making it difficult for him to close his eyes again. Yera raised her tag to massage her aching head. But, he even had trouble moving his body at all. Yera observed his body by lowering his head. Only then did he realize that his body was locked in a blanket. Yera realizes she is in a foreign room.

"What happened last night?" The question haunts Yera's mind. His heart rippled considering his body which was now wrapped in a blanket. Yera's eyeballs slowly rolled to the side. He faintly saw another figure lying on his side. Yera's heart was beating unruffled. She was starting to fear that she might have slept with that person last night, but who?

Curiosity made Yera ventured to turn her head to look at the figure.

Noel was sleeping on his back. Yera's fear slowly broke. His heart rate is slowly returning to normal. Indirectly and unknowingly, Yera's heart has actually been deeper in accepting and trusting Noel in her life.

"You awake?"

Yera jerks. A new feeling a few seconds ago Yera noticed the man was still asleep in his sleep.

Noel approached Yera. Grabbing the woman's back while removing the end of the blanket tucked behind her body. While sitting Yera, Noel opened the winding blanket that wrapped Yera's body.

"I just moved here this morning. Seeing you sleep soundly, I had no intention of taking off the blanket wrapped around your body. So while waiting for you to wake up, I lay down next to you and fell asleep."

"What time is it?"

Noel grabbed his phone on the mattress, swiped the screen to see the digital clock there.

"About 10:00 passing.  Do you want to go home now? Or do you want to take a shower and have breakfast first?”

"I don't have a change of clothes.”

"I'll borrow Chen's clothes."

"No need!” Prevent Yera fast .

"It's okay, Chen is my brother, meaning he's your brother too. Friends borrow clothes from each other. I used to borrow and never give back. The stuff I borrowed will come back on my own if the old man needs it at home."

"But ..." Yera prevented Noel from getting up from there.

"You've become a part of us. Wait here" Noel said, waking up from there.

"But I still don't feel that close to you guys."

Yera suddenly remembered the incident that happened to her last night. Yera remembered how she had tried to escape from Baekhyun until she was trapped in the blanket. "Where is he now? Is it still in this house?"

The open door awakened Yera from her mind. Noel came carrying clothes in his hands.

"I only brought his boss. Chen's pants definitely don't fit for you."

"Thank you" Yera said, waking up from there. Although curious, he felt reluctant to ask Baekhyun's whereabouts with Noel.

"Is your relationship okay?" Chen asked who was aware of the change in Baekhyun's self.

Baekhyun.

"But in your heart you still love her, don't you?"

"I don't know, I don't understand what I'm feeling right now. I don't know what he's feeling either. We just pretended like our relationship was okay. That's what's more pronounced."

"How do you feel when what you expect of him, he can give you?"

Baekhyun nodded. "He always got what he wanted from me. I always give up for him. Now I feel tired of following all his wishes that if unfulfilled would become like this. I'm also tired of running around like we're okay."

"What is your decision now?"

"Right now .. I just want to take a break. I'll do it if the play is needed, but not if I have to come back to her. I won't budge any more to treat the wounds he actually made himself."

Chen smiled in response to his best friend's last words. In fact, Baekhyun realized his own love was blind. In the end he was tired of being enslaved by his own feelings, even indirectly being the slave of his own lover. He also felt sorry for the pretenses of Mory and Baekhyu in front of him as well as Noel and in front of Yera's friends. Unfortunately the charade was useless in Chen's presence.

"Did you take care of Yera last night. As I recall Noel and I were drunk too and you came to take care of us."

"I just kept him from going home by himself."

"How does it feel to take care of your own spell?" Searched Chen while smiling widely.

"Why are you asking that?"

"You're having trouble with Mory. The slightest appearance of Yera and the slightest action will affect your feelings right?"

Baekhyun fell silent without daring to look at Chen. Chen's words have a point. The influence is small, and Baekhyun will keep it from multiplying.

Noel seemed happy preparing the lunch menu with Yera. Moreover, the woman was glad to see her help. Yera was not burdened at all. I do not know since when the woman's face looks ordinary as she has long lived her life as it is today. Now they look like a real couple. It's just that Yera looks still stiff and has not been that familiar with Noel.

"Akh hot ..."

Spontaneous Yera turned her head, watching Noel's ridiculous manner of puffing his head upwards while continuing to chew on the hot food in his mouth.

Yera took a tissue and gave it to Noel. The man's tears broke after trying to endure the pain of the heat of the food he chewed in his mouth.

"Thank you" he said, wiping away his own tears.

"really? I won't do it again" greeted Noel as he threw his knife into the trash.

"After lunch, how about we take lunch to Chen too?"

"With these clothes? Yera looked at her clothes which were clearly oversized on her body. We'll be there, but I'll be waiting for you in the car."

"Em .. We go to the clothing store first, then we will go to Chen to the hospital.”

"I can't go to a clothing store with these clothes. People will see me, weird."

Noel nodded. "Then we go home to change your clothes, and then take this lunch to Chen, after that we go for a walk, how?"

"Walk?"  It had been unimaginable for a long time. You can walk around so freely and buy what you want or enjoy the food you like. Yera remembered she still had a little savings as a result of working. It seems he is still reluctant if Noel who treat him. But how he took it. The ATM has long been lost since the kidnapping and detention case. It would be a pity if the money was not taken. "Will Noel take me to take care of it?"

Yera remembered her previous life. He thought about returning to what he had been in his previous life was okay with Noel by his side. Can it be like that?

"Let's eat. You can speak your mind to me while eating." Said Noel who realized Yera was thinking about something after hearing the word 'stroll' earlier.

"Are you scared?"

Again the words became the fruit of Yera's mind. Justright. His life is not as free as it used to be.How could he possibly think about pleasant walks. Until now he is still the target of Mory fans. It was impossible for him to go back to living his old life. Right now, on Noellah's side is the safest place for her.

"You don't have to be afraid. As long as you're by my side, I make sure you'll always be safe. I must have protected you."

Noel's line of words is like a drama dialogue that Yera often listens to. This time the words he heard directly from Noel who also became the idol of the girls as in the drama. Will his fate really be as sweet as the story in the drama? Yera became pessimistic about her own life. It feels too impossible. It is Mory who lives as in drama. Even though the drama was done by himself.

"I still have money in my ATM, but my ATM card was also lost when they took me and locked me first."

"Your savings book is still on? We'll take care of it later."

"There, but in the contract."

"Alright .. we'll be there after delivering lunch to Chen. We'll get you some of the stuff you need in the contract."

Yera nodded with a smile.  Not once does Noel intend to ignore his best friend when there are other interests. Yera herself doesn't mind that. He was amazed by Noel's friendship with Chen. It was only fitting that Chen looked so good to Noel as well as him.

"My home is the safest place. I'm sorry, if I can't leave you alone. You'll be fine in my house."

At Chen's suggestion, Yera finally decided to move into Noel's house and stayed on the top floor of the house while Noel was on the second floor. With the help of building experts, the spaces in the two chains were successfully renovated in less than a week. Basically, both of them stay home. It's just that the house was expanded a little because it will now be occupied by two people. Noel and Yera have their own rooms. But some places such as the kitchen, family room, living room and others remain occupied together. Another reason was because of the increase in items in the house because Yera was carrying all her belongings from her old contract.

Yera smiled smugly looking at the results of her own order. Upstairs, in addition to his own bedroom, now another room has been conjured into a relaxing room for him, Noel, also Chen. The kitchen stays there because it takes extra work if it has to be moved to the second floor. While on the second floor there was one room for Noel as well as a spacious living room.

"If you feel awkward staying alone with Noel, just expand the space. So your space is no longer too limited, right? You're just a husband and wife who haven't been tied to marriage." Chen's words reverberated in Yera's mind.

Actually Yera herself could not imagine what her life would be like. She will be with Noel forever. He actually lives it now. Yera simply could not imagine the continuation of their relationship. If you live in a house like this. Shouldn't they be married. But Yera herself still could not accept Noel completely in her life. Especially with Noel's life now.

"Wuaaaah .. will this place just be a living room?" Chen's voice echoed from the bottom floor. Yera ran over to see Chen's presence.

"Why are you taking so long? My stomach is already very hungry" Noel protested while dabbing his waist.

"Is the kitchen still up?" Chen did not answer Noel's question. "Yeraaaa ... " Chen called the woman up the stairs.

At the end of the stairs Yera appeared while smilingly welcoming Chen.

"The kitchen's still upstairs?"

Yera nodded as she glanced towards the kitchen showing the place to Chen.

"I brought dinner for us. Noel ... come on up. Eat first. Aren't you starving."

Noel left his job and ran after Chen who was climbing the stairs."

"Did Baekhyun know you were renovating your house? At first I wanted to take her. But I'm afraid the atmosphere will become awkward" Chen half-whispered. But his voice faintly rang out in Yera's ears.

"When you bring him here. He'll get used to this."

"I hope it will happen soon, it feels very strange if it continues like this. Oh ... tomorrow Yuna will be here. I hope you'll have time to meet him."

"really? Is he that serious?"

"You don't think we're serious?" Said Chen while hitting Noel's back.

"I just didn't expect that even if I lived in a different country, your relationship would be this good."

"I didn't choose a woman wrong, did I?"

Noel laughs ... "I'd really like to see him, when will he come?"

"Possible noon. He'll stay at my house."

Noel's eyes dodged until he got a punch from Chen again.

"I'm not as bad as you think Chen said in loud laughter Noel.
