Elle opened her eyes when the morning sun came through the window of her room. The woman squinted her eyes, looking at the clock with a picture of the hen hanging on the wall opposite her bed. Half-hour seven in the morning.
Elle pulled her blanket again, curled back up as the memory of a strange dream, flashed back in her mind. Raffi came to this room, awake with him until morning. Ah, my gosh, what the hell is he dreaming of such an impossible thing?
Elle sighed while stroking her stomach. Her stomach, or the baby, seemed to have wriggled asking for a caffeine ration this morning. Although still lazy to move, Elle forced herself up to go to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth before stepping out of the room to make a cup of coffee.
Arriving in the kitchen, humming softly he put two teaspoons of coffee and a teaspoon of sugar into his beloved striated enamel cup. Pouring boiling water from the teapot, stirring the coffee half daydreaming.
He once read one article, that if observed under a microscope, caffeine crystals turned out to have a shape
similar needle. Maybe that's the logical reason why some people feel stomach pain after drinking coffee. While he, the pain will actually be felt if the coffee he drank was given added sugar. Or anything that works as a sweetener. Bitter coffee, always tastes more friendly to the stomach. Although the explanation of the caffeine crystals was scientific, he also thought that it was just a matter of habitability. Some are used to using sugar, some are used to just coffee. As is life, too, he said. Some are used to a sweet and happy life. Some feel too much bitterness and sorrow. And he, it seems, belongs to the second group.
“Pregnant women don't mostly drink coffee.” Elle.
“Ngapain you are here, early in the morning like this?” Raffi did not answer, but thrust a glass of white milk in front of Elle. “You should drink this.” Then began to inhale the aroma of coffee from the cup he took from Elle's hand.
Raffi stayed here last night. Elle was delirious incessantly in her sleep, and neither did she let go of her hand. The woman was only able to sleep quietly, after Raffi relented and joined to lay down beside her. Wake up and hold her until morning.
Aunty Indri who was at dawn saw him coming out of Elle's room just smiled and did not comment anything. Before leaving, the woman simply advised that she would force Elle to drink milk instead of continuing to brew coffee like she had done all this time.
Elle looked fiercely at Raffi who looked relaxed sipping the coffee he had just brewed. “Not your business yes, I want to drink what.”
“I don't care what you drink. I just don't want my son to get caffeine poisoning if you keep going like this.”
Elle whizzing. “This is my son. It has nothing to do with you. Just go from here.”
Raffi smiled cynically. Basic female. Who's been delirious all night asking him not to go? Look now, what he's doing! “So, you also admitted that you are pregnant, right?” taunted. Elle fell silent.
“This is my son, nothing to do with you!” reset Elle.
“Neg. Cannot. That's also my son.”
“Why are you so sure that this is your son, ha?!”
“Why not?”
Elle snorted cynically. “Indeed, you think I just slept with you?”
Let Raffi consider him a bitch, as long as the man stops cornering him. Long-time Elle tired also kink and avoid. His physique is so weak now. He could no longer bear to fight nerves with the man.
Unexpectedly, Raffi actually approached him. Look at it with a judging view. From the tip of the foot, to the tip of the hair to make Elle feel uncomfortable. “Yes we'll wait until we can prove medically that the baby is my son.” Raffi shakes his head. “Test DNA?”
Elle fell silent. Can't argue anymore.
Raffi watched the woman. Feeling inexhaustible, was that the trauma he felt like a complete blinding of his heart's eyes? Until he could not, or did not want to, see the sincerity he had been giving, and how much love did he feel?
If he knew about this earlier, it might be another story. A little Raffi regretted, for not trying to know more about Elle before. But, the truth came at a time when the fatigue had already gripped his heart. There is no tolerance left, except anger and hurt.
“Tell me, Elle, why it's none of my business. I told you I wouldn't care anymore, right? But if it concerns my son, don't expect you to be all you want.”
Elle frowned, a stab of pain stabbing her heart.
Right no? Only the baby is now being noticed by Raffi. “Now, you drink this. Not for most reasons. If you're so skinny, where is the nutrition for my son?” sindir Raffi sharp.
Elle clenched her jaw. Not replying to every spicy word of the man, tired of being defensive. After all, he also knows, his habit of drinking excessive coffee is not good for the health of his fetus.
Without a word, Elle grabbed the milk glass that Raffi was thrusting. Making the corner of the man's lips slightly lifted to see Elle who this time was willing to obey what he said without much stubborn debate.
If only this woman had behaved like this for a long time....
“Heghhh!”
Raffi. Elle shakes. Then try again to drink the milk, but....
“Heghhh!”
Elle pushed the glass away and smothered her own mouth and ran to the sink. The intense nausea that attacked him made him instantly want to vomit all over his stomach. There was nothing she swallowed this morning.
Raffi again cringed. Seeing Elle continue to try to vomit his stomach, even though no one came out at all. It must have hurt a lot.
Moments later after washing her mouth and gulping down some white water, Elle looked at Raffi denouncing. “I can't drink milk. See for yourself, right?”
Raffi. I don't know what's on his mind, he suddenly took Elle's milk glass. He gulped it, then walked over and grabbed the woman's face with both hands, linking their mouths.
Elle froze, not anticipating Raffi's actions. Cannot avoid or fight. But unexpectedly, the white liquid that just smelled made him nauseous, after mixing saliva the man could actually pass his throat without the slightest rejection.
Elle was in a daze when Raffi took off his kiss. While Raffi himself half-cursed himself for his impulsive attitude that he could not control. Quickly put aside the curse in the heart. It was for the good of his son. Not the other one.
Elle looked at the glass half in doubt. Still with the heart pounding wildly, he took the glass again. After closing her nose and nothing happened, Elle gulped down.
Until the toilet filled the glass, he did not feel nauseous. Unknowingly Raffi heaved a sigh of relief. Then came the mocking sentence. “If this way you can drink milk, I don't mind coming here every day. Origin of my son is not malnourished.”
“No need,” tukas Elle fast.
He can drink milk. He should have. And he was not willing to find a mocking look emanated clearly from Raffi's eyes. From today he will force himself. He would not accept the assumption that he was expecting another kiss from the man.
Elle's daydream is torn apart by the sound of Raffi's cell phone ringing. For a moment the man fell silent after reading the message that just came in. He looked at Elle, and looked at her.
“Mama wants to see us today.”

“You have made a decision, what do you two want next?” asked Siera sharply. Still looks angry and disappointed. Raffi and Elle take a look. Elle just shook her head slowly and lowered her head again.
“I'm in charge, Mam. We have to get married,” replied Raffi firmly, then glanced sharply at Elle. “But don't know if he, what he wants,” he said.
Elle grimacing. Why did Raffi now even corner him? “You ... how about Elle?” ask Siera later.
“I ... I want to stay in Sydney again, Auntie.”
Raffi instantly rolled his annoyed eyes while snorting loudly.
Siera looked at him confused. “Sydney? What do you mean, Elle? You're pregnant with Raffi's son, aren't you? Why go to Sydney, and then your baby
how?”
“I want to take care of him alone, Auntie,” he replied.
“You want to take my son away, so he doesn't have a father like you, do you?”
“Raff!” Siera rebuked his son. It is inappropriate to comment on the past of the mother-to-be with such a cynical tone.
Elle just smiled wryly hearing that. Want to marry her she said?
What kind of marriage would she have, with a man who always looked at her with hate? Because the fetus in his stomach alone? If that's all, Elle doesn't need it. She was sure she could raise her own child. Don't need anybody. Even if it was a Raffi.
Raffi himself threw his gaze in the other direction. His jaw hardened, his temples pulsed again holding back emotions. Sydney's? For God's sake, what exactly was in his head to take such an unreasonable step?! Obviously he was willing to take responsibility, but why was Elle still so hard-hearted?
While Siera was speechless observing the two humans before him. A thick aura of hostility was felt. The woman was endlessly asking in her heart, what really happened? Yesterday her husband only said that his son loved the woman a long time ago, and their relationship had been lived by mutual consent. Like same likes. Why does it now look like Raffi hates Elle so much?
“Actually, Auntie is very disappointed with you two. If only you knew, Auntie never mind if you guys are in a relationship, but not in this way.”
“Sorry, Aunt. ”
Siera. “But everything has happened. There's no point in Mama getting angry with you, Raff. No matter what happens between the two of you, Auntie doesn't want to know. That's your business, Auntie won't interfere. Finish yourself. Auntie just wants you to think about the baby. So, once again Auntie asked, what do you want next?” ask Siera.
“Of course we should get married, right, Ma?” sahut Raffi's.
Siera looked at her son in silence. Although disappointed because of Raffi's actions, at least he was relieved because it turned out not to raise a cowardly man who would run from responsibility. “And you Elle, still want to Sydney?” ask Siera later.
Elle was still silent. His mind was indecisive, busy weighing under the sharp gaze of Raffi's eyes which watched him in silence.
“Think carefully, Elle, it's not easy raising a baby yourself. Moreover, Raffi does not escape responsibility, right? Poor baby. Aunty also could not bear if the future grandson of Aunt later grew up without enough affection and attention, while in fact she has a complete family.”
Elle was still worried. But, Siera's low tone of voice, and sincere expression when saying her acceptance of her fetus earlier, began to shake her firmness.
Finally he nodded. “Ya is Aunt, I agree marriage with her,” break up.
Siera breathed a sigh of relief. “Good then. Later let Aunt and Indri take care of it so you can get married soon. You rest first, restore the condition. Let it be healthy and fit again,” Siera said with a smile. Elle just nodded. Siera then turned to Raffi. “Oh yes Raff, you said you want an Elle?” anther ask Siera. Instantly Elle frowned in confusion.
“Iya, Ma.”
“When?” ask Siera.
Raffi moved from his seat. “Now. Come on,” take him to Elle.
Elle again frowned in surprise. “Where?”
“Check your content. To the hospital.”
Elle gulped. His face turned back.
