in front of the pool was a man who was calling someone with his evil grin.

yes the man is Alex. The man did not realize that his conversation was recorded by someone who hid behind a tree that was not too far from Alex.

the one who recorded Alex's conversation was Leona. he had long been suspicious of Alex so he recorded Alex's conversation with the caller and sent it to his young master who was none other than Zubair and his twin brother Leon.
