"I can't go to the barn today.

Daniel said in a phone conversation, his eyes occasionally glanced at the rearviews. There's a car tailing him and Daniel guesses it's Marco.

"There's someone following me.

Daniel put down his phone and focused on driving. He deliberately just circled around to fool Marco who was following him.
