"You have no intention of getting married again?" marvel's asking made the mama choke on the hot tea she was shredding this morning.

"Marvel...!" dona said, "what are you talking about?"

"It's not Marvel, it's Kiran who has an idea" Marvel said, pointing to his wife.

"Who am I?"

Kiran panic.

"You two are the same. Already ah, let's take mama to the airport now."

Dona moved from the dining table.

"Mah,...!" Marvel called his mom.

"Yes, what's wrong?" dona asked still upset.

"Seriously no intention of getting married again?" again Marvel asked.

"Once again you ask like that, you're ironing your naughty brain." Dona growled herself.

Kiran gulped her gulp rough, she was only joking last night to just tease her husband but why did Marvel take it seriously.

"Wife is the same. Equally annoying. Kiran, you don't want to be brainwashed by that crazy Marvel."

"Yes nih mah, this bewok mas likes to bully me," Kiran argued.

Marvel's eyes glared in disbelief.

"Life and daughter-in-law are the same!" marvel is upset.

It wasn't long before Marvel and Kiran left to drop off Dona's mom at the airport. From the airport, Kiran and Marvel briefly stop by Fani's pastry shop.

"Well, not a job even dating. Should I fire you?"

Marvel's voice surprised Jeff who is currently joking with Fani.

"Boss....!"

Jeff's face looked very nervous.

"Just stop by for a second boss!" jeff said he was looking for an excuse.

"E-don't, no. We're just friends. Just ask Jeff."

Fani's face flushed red, embarrassed by the question Kiran gave.

"Go back to the office or you I'll fire right now!" tell Marvel to make a word of his threat.

"B-good boss.....!!"

With a thousand steps Jeff went straight out of the cake shop. Not long after Marvel followed Jeff who had already returned to the office.

"Your husband is why the hell? I love threatening people!" Fani upset.

"Hopefully understand, I'm also sometimes upset with him."

"By the way, tumben in the afternoon to here. You got any more problems?" ask Fani curiously.

"There's no one. In a deserted house, mamah goes on holiday abroad."

"How's your father doing, where are they now?"

"Don't know, either" replied Kiran lethargic, then she took a deep breath.

"Then your father meets, you two. You and your dad can talk nice, no matter how he's still your dad."

"I still think of him as an old man. But his attitude always hurt my feelings. I don't know why you're always defending those two demons."

"Why don't you ask your father directly?"

"I'm tired of asking. It was like hiding something from me. But, every time I ask you, you're always mad."

"You should investigate something like that. Your father is very suspicious, he always defends the two demons."

"Once, it's up to them!" said Kiran who was tired.

"That's the story anyway, how can your father marry aunty Desi?" ask Fani curiously.

"Say she's an old friend of mine, but I'm not sure!"

"You have to really investigate their past. I'm sure there must be something your father's been hiding."

"Mbak Fani made me curious" Kiran said.

Kiran began to think about what Fani had just said. He also feels awkward with his family life so far that even now Kiran's father never told whether there are still brothers from his mother's family or his father's family.
