Cannot Promise

Alex could do nothing as the mother slowly carried Dafina away from her. Will the Mother scold Dafina?

Alex was really upset. He only wanted to account for his actions to Dafina. But why is it so hard?

Are good intentions not always welcomed? Alex really doesn't understand.

While in another room. Right next to the pool, Ms. Mira sat herself there. The two sat on a chair while facing towards the pool.

"So how far along have you been, Daf?" Mira opened her voice.

"Just close to normal, Mom. Maybe Alex is so as to forget his past problems, "let's say Dafina. "But if you tell me to stay away, you don't have to worry. I will definitely do it immediately" Dafina insisted.

"That's exactly what I'm worried about Dafina." Mira looked over.

Simultaneously Dafina also turned her head towards him.

"I know who Alex is. If he dared to bring women here, he must have had good intentions from the beginning. My son Alex just broke his heart yesterday, so I don't want him to be hurt a second time. Are you serious about your relationship?"

Dafina smiled. However, a few seconds later he shook his head, hesitating.

"I'm not sure, Mom. I know for myself how different our ages are."

"Hmmm. As expected," muttered Mira. Any guy like you might like Alex who's still that snot kid.

Ms. Mira remembered one of her friends who had the title of professor was rejected by Dafina. She's a great and smart woman. Surely to find a mate will be more selective, thought Mira.

"What is your relationship now? Why did my son look so excited when he introduced you?"

"Maybe this could be called an experiment, ma'am. We're trying to get close to each other. Do you mind?"

"No! It's just that I don't want my son to be hurt anymore. I don't want him to be played with either. Can you confirm that?"

"Hopefully I didn't hear bad news like the rumors I've heard that you date young men just for fun. I don't want Alex to be treated like that by you." Ms. Mira raised her eyebrows. But it was too late because Dafina had managed to snare Alex into his arms.

"May not, Mom." Dafina stood up with a smile. She was not surprised that Bu Mira knew about it, but as much as possible Dafina kept a calm face as if the accusation was a false rumor.

Alex approached as Dafina sat down next to him again.

"Hey, did Mami talk to you weirdly?" whispered the man. Ms. Mira could hear Alex's words clearly, but she chose to be silent regardless.

"Your mother told me that she deeply values our relationship. Isn't that right, Miss Mira?"

"Hmm." Mira nodded.

Alex's face looks happy. A look of happiness slowly appeared on his cheeks. "I told you what, my mother must have approved of our relationship, Miss. Thank you, Mama."

Alex hugged his mother across the table. She didn't know that after this Bu Mira would tell Dafina to stay away from her son.

Come to think of it as though Dafina didn't fit in with Alex. Their personalities are also very different.

Ms. Mira did not want Alex to regret later in life for choosing a spinster like Dafina.
