Chapters. 22 I Want to Be Happy
Dio seriously notices Dicky picking up his bike in the parking lot. He is shocked to see the Mafia Boss' men approaching Dicky. They seem to be asking Dicky about something.
After Dicky answered some questions, they allowed Dicky to pass. Dicky had a hard time turning on Dio's motorbike. After the motorbike was on, he went straight out of the campus area.
Dio, Nita, and Rasya wait for Dicky behind campus. Not many people know that except the students at this college. The place is devoted to students who participate in BEM or SMEs.
Dicky came with Dio's bike with a satisfied smile. He then parked his bike in front of SME Chipcom. There turned out to be Vishnu who was hanging out at SME Chipcom.
"Tumben lo put the motor here." said Vishnu to Dio.
"The story is long bro.." Dio responded to Vishnu's speech while taking Nita on his motorbike.
"Lo wait for us at the boarding house." said Dicky suggested. "Gue wants to hear your explanation there." he added.
"OK.." said Dio and then turned on the motor.
Nita rode the Dio motorcycle wearing a helmet given by Vishnu. Dio's motor then left the campus. They passed through a path that penetrated into the cost of Dara mbak.
Dio doesn't want much on Nita's travels. He kept focusing on riding his bike so that nothing happened. Because he didn't want anything to happen to Nita.
Arriving at the boarding house Dio took Nita to his boarding room. He made Nita a glass of milk chocolate to calm Nita down. While he restlessly awaits the arrival of Dicky, Rasya, and Vishnu.
"Yo.." Nita told Dio.
"Yes.." answered Dio flatly.
"Sorry.because I you have to get into my problems." said Nita sincerely.
"Lo no need to apologize.guna I'm here for you.." said Dio seriously, but he still did not look at Nita.
"Lo sprain with me?.." asked Nita later.
"Absolutely not." replied Dio.
"Keep why do you like farin me?.." asked Nita again while approaching Dio.
"That's for your good." Dio replied seriously.
"My good is when I'm with you." said Nita expectantly.
"Lo would be better off if he wasn't with me." Dio responded to Nita's sluggish remarks.
"Is it because I'm the Mafia boss's mistress?.." asked Nita almost in tears.
"It's not that, because if you're with me, you're going to suffer.." answered Dio withholding his emotions.
"Gue can be honest Yo?.." asked Nita later.
"Gue likes you.." Nita said honestly.
Nita's expression of heart made Dio surprised to hear it. He didn't expect this to happen. He didn't want to listen to any of that.
"I'm sorry I can't repay your love." said Dio, but his eyes glazed over.
"Is it because I'm not a good girl?." asked Nita emotionally. "Are you ashamed to date me?..."
"Because I don't want you to suffer with me." replied Dio more loudly.
"Bad...very bad.I don't even want to see it.." answered Dio as if holding back the overflow of sadness.
"Gue will prove that none of that will happen to me." said Nita firmly.
"Sorry Ta.." said Dio and picked up his guitar.
Dio later played a song by Sheila On 7 Dan. While Nita was listening seriously to Dio sing. He knew the song was being sung for him.
Dio sang very much per verse of the song. Everyone who listened to the song must have felt a deep message from Dio. There were no tears Dio fell with the song.
In this state Dio felt very ill to stay away. He suffered so much to lie to his feelings. This song allowed him to vent his deep emotions.
The song he sang ended as well. Nita looked at Dio with feeling. He approached Dio who was bowed after singing the song. Then hugged Dio tightly.
"Lo lied." said Nita while crying. "Lo loves me so much." he said again.
"Gue doesn't love you.." Dio tried to deny, but his feelings said something else. "Gue just doesn't take you as my friend." he added, continuing to deny his feelings.
"If you don't love me, why do you sing that song for me?.." asked Nita who cried hugging Dio. "Why do you want to help me escape from that person?.." he asked again.
"Because I was forced to do it.gue was forced to help lo.." replied Dio pretending, but his heart said something else.
"Gue wants to see to what extent you lie to me." said Nita then hugged Dio hard. "Gue will make you admit that you really love me." Nita said seriously.
"Don't force me to be rude to you." said Dio threateningly.
"If so, do it.." said Nita challenging Dio. He then released his embrace from Dio.
He was waiting for what Dio would do at this moment. He waited for Dio to hit him or slap him like the Mafia Boss did to him. But Dio just kept quiet, he did nothing to Nita.
"Come on.do something from lo for me.." challenge Nita again. "Can't you?." said Nita with a smile.
"Gue's not that bastard." replied Dio and put down his guitar, then he walked away from Nita to the boarding balcony.
Nita picked up the guitar and started playing it. Nita then played a beautiful guitar tone. He played a song by Acha Septriasa called Sampaiku Blindfolded.
This time he sang with great pleasure. All of her emotions were released by Nita on the song. She sings better than ever on campus. Dio was surprised Nita could sing so well. It was like seeing Nita whom he had always loved. He saw sincerity in every verse of the lyrics that came out of Nita's mouth.
At this moment Dio desperately wanted to hug and kiss Nita. But he knew it was impossible for him to do it. He has a very big task at the moment, which is that he has to mengematinin Nita so as not to end as he saw. He didn't want to see Nita lose her life again.
Suddenly L appears next to Dio who listens to Nita sing. I rubbed Dio's shoulder like a friend cheering on her best friend. I know how Dio feels right now that he's not okay.
"L...what if I can't stay away from him?.." asked Dio later.
"At this time you are standing between two time paths bro.kalo lo remain with Him.then your destiny will lead you to part with him again...it could be him who died or you who died." replied L seriously.
"Gue was sincere that I would die." said Dio later.
"Lo what do you want?.." asked Dio.
"Gue wants Nita to be happy." replied Dio steadily.
