Chapter 28 Head Mannequin

The Folies Bergere building is a short distance from the restaurant where Beaufort Abellard works, and is a long way off on foot.

Aneisha Mihai could hardly continue her walk to the building.

"Are we better off breaking into this building without using any magical power, Ms Amarise?", asked Aneisha Mihai who was standing by the old woman's side.

"It is impossible if we forcefully break into this building because we will be caught by the people here" Amarise replied, looking up at the building.

"If using magic power, is it not too dangerous for us, Amarise ma'am?", asked Aneisha Mihai.

"How else, son, we are forced to do it because we are hunted by a time not long in the past, Aneisha Mihai", said Ms. Amarise.

"Yeah, I understand that, and this is quite troublesome for you" said Aneisha Mihai.

"Don't say that, son, no one feels bothered or heavy, I'm happy to help you" Amarise said.

The old woman in red dress with a lacy red hat covering part of her face began to lift her lacy umbrella towards the top.

There was the sound of a door that opened wide and made a very loud sound from the front of the two of them.

When the two had entered the building, suddenly the door closed again by itself.

Aneisha Mihai looked at the room of the Folies Bergere Building which looked hollow and empty.

The room in the building felt very quiet without any lights that illuminate in it.

"Why don't you turn on the lights in this building room, Ms Amarise?", asked Aneisha Mihai in a quivering voice.

"Isn't your lacy umbrella really useful, is there no flashlight in your umbrella, Ms Amarise?" said Aneisha Mihai, full of question marks.

"Oh, wait a minute, I'll see it but how can I find that flashlight in my frilly umbrella in the dark, son?" whispered Amarise.

"We're looking for a window, Miss Amarise" said Aneisha Mihai.

"Window ? For what, son?", asked Amarise half-murmuring.

"To open the window curtain that covers the glass" said Aneisha Mihai.

"Oh my God, it never occurred to me to open the window curtain but if we open all the curtains, I'm afraid it will invite the attention of people outside this building" said Amarise.

"But we only open some of the window curtains, not all of our curtains are open, Ms. Amarise, just to get a little lighting" said Aneisha Mihai.

"Hmmm, well then, I agree with your idea, wait here I'll walk to the window to open the curtain, son" said Ms. Amarise.

"Wait for Amarise ! Don't leave me alone here, I'm so scared, Miss Amarise!?", said Aneisha Mihai, holding the old woman's arm tightly.

Ms. Amarise then flicked half the curtain that covered the window of the building room to let out a bright light that illuminated into the pitch-black Folies Bergere Building.

"AAAAHHH.!!!", screamed Aneisha Mihai suddenly.

The old woman in a red dress beside the young girl was shocked when the girl screamed loudly.

Ms. Amarise then turned her head towards Aneisha Mihai who was closing her body towards her.

"What's the matter, son, why are you screaming like that?", asked Amarise.

"D-there, there..., there you see, there is a head!", said Aneisha Mihai with a trembling body while pointing to the corner of the building.

"What?", said Amarise stunned.

When he saw something in the corner of the room of the magnificent building, the old woman in a red dress was stunned in disbelief by what she saw.

"REDUCED... DANDRUFF... GLEDUK..."

A mannequin head that rolled slowly and stopped on the floor of the building room.

Ms. Amarise walked over to the mannequin head that was lying on the floor.

"Head mannequin ? Who does this have?", said Amarise stunned.

"Huh-be careful... Be careful, Miss Amarise ! Don't be rash!", said Aneish Mihai trying to remind.

"M.., calm down, I'll be on my guard, son" said Ms. Amarise.

Ms. Amarise sat crouched in front of the mannequin's head lying on the floor watching him, the old woman then wrapped her hands in red gloves as she was about to pick up the mannequin's head.

Suddenly the old woman sat back down as her hand held the head of the mannequin.

He covered his open mouth with one of his hands and widened his two eyes in surprise.

Bu Amarise's gaze suddenly turned into horror as he looked at the head of the mannequin in his hand.

"My God ! What is this !?", the screech is restrained.

"What's up!?", murmured Aneisha Mihai quietly.

Aneisha Mihai who heard Bu Amarise's words then turned her gaze towards the red-clad old woman.

He found the shocked Amarise Maiden horrified as the old woman looked at the head of the mannequin she was holding.

The beautiful girl looked at Bu Amarise curiously and she tried to walk closer to the old woman.

"A-wpa... What's... What's... What is the meaning of all this?", said Amarise stammered.

The words of Ms. Amarise made Aneisha Mihai curious and tried to look at the head of the mannequin that the old woman was holding.

How shocked Aneisha Mihai was when she looked closely at the mannequin's head, the young girl was surprised when Ms. Amarise raised her head so that she could clearly see the whole face of the mannequin.

Aneisha Mihai could only say, "Oh my God..."
