CHAMELEON
reminiscences

The man smiled and introduced himself.

“I am Saddam, a fellow of the profession with Teddy,” he said kindly, Andrew snorted annoyed at the sudden introduction of the man.

“Looks like your profession is a field photographer,” says ketus. Saddam laughed without responding to the unfriendly attitude of his colleagues.

“Can you take me to the office now?” ask Fitri who is behind Andrew. Hearing the voice of his girlfriend right behind him, Andrew immediately glanced at Saddam wanting to ascertain his male instincts. And true. Saddam's gaze was very attached to Adel. His face looks sad. Does he know this girl?

“Ehm..” Andrew deliberately gave the voice code to make Saddam aware. But the man looked at him still with his friendly pretentious smile, and turned back to look at Fitri who did not touch him at all.

“Bu Adel right? Greetings, I..” Saddam unfinished say hello, Andrew gave the code to Fitri and walked away leaving Saddam dumbstruck alone. There was a happy and sad twinkle in his eyes.

In the car, Fitri was again busy with his gadget. Andrew glanced at him occasionally. Wanted to see signs of whether this girl knew that shitty guy.

Andrew found no strangeness at all. Finally Andrew ventured to ask directly rather than his heart being overwhelmed with curiosity. “Did you know the man earlier?”

Fitri looked at Andrew with a clueless look. “Knowing who?”

“Film photographer earlier,” said ketus.

“Whose is he?” Fitri asked back confusedly. He really did not pay attention to the man.

“He's Teddy's co-worker,” Andrew replied trying to hide his regret. Even though he seemed a little useless, because Fitri did not seem to pay attention to it at all.

“Owh, I didn't notice it earlier, sorry,”

“Why apologize, there is nothing wrong and to blame in this.”

“Hahah, but the look on your face looks disappointed because I don't know the man,”

Andrew looked at her with anxiety. “We stopped by to eat first my stomach was very hungry, I did not have time to eat breakfast because too happy will pick you up soon,”

Fitri did not argue nor did he pay more attention. Just according to the driver's wishes.

Saddam just turned to Teddy for a moment and started to get busy with his laptop screen. “Ted, do you not feel that the girl brought by Mr. Andrew was very familiar,” who was asked instead replied not serious at all.

“Of course very familiar, he is his future wife,” said Teddy cuek, “And the main he is very beautiful,”

“I know it,” Saddam glances annoyed. “But I feel like I've known him very long,”

Suddenly Teddy was broken. “Your mode is so stale buddy. Is there no other idea that could be used as an excuse for you to approach him,”

Saddam didn't mind his friend's taunts. “There go to sleep, I'm busy!” the hardic.

Teddy went to the room. His laughter was still in his footsteps until the door closed and Saddam could hear no more.

Saddam again glued to look at some photos he took this afternoon. He also wondered why he was so curious about the girl.

He squinted his eyes. Hope to find a clue.

Zonk!!!

But his index finger wanted to form a shut down sign, his heart was stunned.

With a sigat he grabbed his cellphone and looked for his old photo files that he still stored in his cell phone's memory.

He looked at a graduation photo of a beautiful girl with her long veil. The girl smiled as she hugged a white and purple chrysanthemum flower. And within a meter of the back, his face appeared right when the traveling photographer who was always present at the graduation ceremony snapped a button. He remembered that incident. When the traveling photographer sold the photos they took either secretly or on a whim, Saddam quickly bought the photos and kept them as his most valuable possessions.

A few seconds later, Saddam Pias's face.
