Chapter 90 - The Debt
"Am I late?" said someone, at once all his gaze went to the source of the voice.
"You..?" mika said, the presence of Daniel suddenly made the whole room was shocked made, not the figure of Daniel who made them surprised, but the figure of the woman who now stands beside Daniel.
"Yes, it's me. If you want to have fun you have to wait for me." said Daniel, he passed Mika and Mike who was fixated on standing, his hand could not be separated from the grasp of the lover.
As the room quieted down, Mike's emotions peaked to see what Daniel was doing in front of Om Michelle and Mika. "You don't want to explain your attitude to me today in front of Om Michelle Mike?" ask Daniel with comfort. Now Daniel and his girlfriend stand between Mike and Om Michelle.
"What am I doing? I'm just doing what I'm supposed to do." replied Mike who was no less relaxed. "Fine, it looks like our business this time we can not continue Om Michelle, with a heavy heart" said Daniel while shrugging his shoulders, glancing at Mike.
"But I will continue the match between Om and Daddy" Daniel said. Mike who had been holding back his emotions from earlier finally peaked he walked towards Daniel and raised his fist right on his cheek.
The lover cried hysterically to see Daniel fall down, "Are you crazy?" she shouted, trying to help Daniel to stand up. "Ah.. Your guts are big too." said Daniel who stood up while wiping the tip of the blood on the tip of his lips. Now Daniel hit back at Mike who was no less hard. Kiandra was furious to see Daniel who did not want to take off Mika, his hands clenched tightly, it felt like he wanted to punch back Daniel who had insulted his best friend, but Aldi held Kiandra. "Don't interfere in their affairs, dear." whispered Aldi.
"He's insulting my best friend, how can I be quiet?" kiandra said softly as she glared at Aldi.
"Not yet, baby, okay?" aldi said while trying to stroke Kiandra's shoulder. "Don't touch me!" kiandra said annoyed, her hand brushed Aldi's hand off his shoulder.
O Lord, they are stormy, but I am told to fast. Damn you Mike, Aldi said in his heart, he looked resentfully at Mike.
"Enough!" mika shouted loudly, but the two were still punching each other. "I said enough!" yelled Mika again. The two of them finally stopped and stood looking at Mika.
"Daddy, I have my own way of life, I'm an adult, I'll accept Daddy's offer to assume the CEO position, but on the condition that Daddy and Mommy don't interfere in my future affairs, who I'm friends with, who I'm getting married to, and where I have to live" Mika said. An instant of a smile emanated from Michelle's face.
The Daddy laughed and leaned his back against his great chair. Michelle's response made everyone look at her with questionable eyes. "Why is Daddy laughing? I'm not even kidding. Mika seriously Dad." said Mika epnuh emphasis.
"Well." said Michelle as she raised her head for a moment, Haura just gently rubbed her husband's hand.
"Right now I really want to hit you Mike" Michelle said as she glared at Mike. Mike, who was still trying to catch his breath, turned to Michelle.
"Why do you two see me like that?" michelle, Mika and Mike are completely confused.
"You too, have Om said just enjoy it why are you even making a fuss with my daughter's lover?" michelle said to Daniel. Michelle's words surprised Mika and Mike. "Dad.. Did I not hear wrong?" mika asked trying to convince herself. Mike was still looking at Michelle with a questionable look.
"Huf.. Mika, meet Ross, Daniel's fiancee. Daniel was actually your childhood friend back in Milan. Don't you remember?" michelle asked, Mika tried to turn her memory back when she and her family had lived in Milan. "I never had a friend named Daniel when I was in Milan" Mika said, his brain still trying to rotate his memory. "Ah, I only have a friend who is thick and funny but his name is John not Daniel" said Mika, looking at Daniel closely.
"Well, I didn't think you'd remember me, Mikaela" Daniel said, shaking his waist.
"What?" ask Mika reflex. Michelle tried to explain back to her daughter "Daniel introduced your name to her properly." Michelle ordered. "alright. Meet me Daniel John Wilson, I'm the sole heir to the Wilson family, I'm the stocky boy your Daddy helped when I lost my way, this is my childhood photo. Do you still not believe it's me?" john asks, he offers a picture of his wallet, a picture of himself with Michelle, Haura and Mika.
Mika tried to look at the photo and occasionally tried to glance at Michelle. "Your Daddy asked me to pretend to have an arranged marriage with you, to test this geeky. To be honest I tried to propose to you two years ago, but Om Michelle and Aunt Haura turned it down because they knew you loved Mike so much, I went back to Milan and got engaged to Ross." daniel said as he threw a smile at Ross and hugged his waist.
"I believe Daniel wouldn't betray me even if I knew he liked you, Mika" Ross replied.
"I'm indebted to Om Michelle, I just want to see you happy with your choice, Mika. All this we do is make your stupid man move faster, sometimes men will feel more lost when what they have is threatened to belong to someone else." explained Daniel. Daniel embraces Ross and looks at Mika simultaneously.
"Do you think this is funny?" mika shouted, Mika left Michelle's room and ran towards her room. "I'm sorry Mika Om, Mike will try to calm her down" Mike said as he went out to catch up with Mika. Fortunately Mika did not close the door tightly so that Mike could enter her room. Mike sat on the side of the mattress where Mika lay, Mika was crying because she was upset.
Mike stroked Mika's hair in a beautiful way, "You're crying because you're upset about not getting married to Daniel?" mika turned around and tried to sit down, wiping her tears and frowning "Is your brain no longer as healthy as Mike?" mika asked, it was not finished think Mike bsia think like that.
"Don't cry, I'm upset, but I'm grateful, if it wasn't for Daniel's presence, maybe I'd continue to be a coward who wouldn't acknowledge and fight for you properly. If I were your Daddy maybe I would do the same, even more likely to actually marry my only daughter to the man of my choice, no man can see his son grieving, Mika." explained Mike as he wiped the tears of his lover.
"But Mike.." Mika's words came to a halt as Mike's index finger touched her lips, hinting Mika to shut up.
"Isn't nothing stopping us from getting married now?" mike asked with a smile on his lips.
Mike tried to put Mika on both cheeks "Do you still want to marry me, Mikaela?" ask Mike. Mika just nodded slowly while crying out in tears. Shamelessly Mike immediately kissed the friendly Mika, Mika wrapped her hands around Mike's neck. For a long time they kissed until now the kiss became a kiss that evoked each other's desires. Mike tried to finish his kiss, their eyebrows met each other, closed their eyes, their breath intertwined.
Mika hugged Mike, Mika was embarrassed because she was more aggressive when they kissed, Mike returned Mika's embrace and smiled happily, her hands patted Mika's back slowly. "Can we go back to them, Dear?" mike asked, but unfortunately Mika shook her head reluctant to meet with her daddy and mommy.
"Try to tell her, Dear. Be grateful for being able to feel the feeling of being noticed by parents." said Mike, Mike suddenly remembered with the mother who was gone. Mike's words suddenly made Mika realize that Mike was reprimanding him. Mika hugged Mike. "I'm sorry Mike, I want to see them" Mika said, Mike smiled happily.
"Come, they've been waiting for you for sure." take Mike while standing, and extend a hand to Mika. Mika grabs Mike's hand and they walk out of Mika's room holding hands
