That twilight, I felt far from anyone. walked alone on a small path to not know where I would step my feet. "aaaaaaaaa" I cried out loud among the towering trees. Letting go of all the tiredness, the whack of disappointment, the endless sadness that has come to me lately without me being able to avoid it. What I am currently experiencing cannot be avoided, what must happen must indeed happen. Let it happen, so said the people I always heard.
"hahahahaha, I was so stupid not to realize everything from the beginning, why, why Kai, why are you so insensitive" he laughed heartily on the sidelines of the endless crying. "What should I do after this, what should I live for" I murmured to wipe away the tears that always came down without me asking, the roar of tears as well as laughter makes me worse and can only curl up with thick enough leaves falling under the big tree that is my current back.
From a distance someone looked at me with a gaze that I could not understand.I did not care at all about the circumstances around me, not being distracted by the voices and presence of others who might think I'm losing my mind, I don't care at all about what they say, I just want to get cowering in the dark.
towards the end of the day, my phone rang to bring me back to consciousness. "what's going on" I asked quietly without seeing the caller id on my phone because I didn't care who called me this early in the morning, like this, it was enough for me to care about others for the time being that I did not want to see anyone else at all.
"Where are you, your father worried and asked you from earlier" replied someone across in a soft tone. I took a deep breath as I looked up at the beautiful sky with so many stars trying to grab it with my hands freely stretched out upwards as if the stars were ducking in for it to take. no one said a word for a few minutes.
"Kaila, don't be such a child, it's time for you to come back to reality. You should know there are still many people who love you" said someone across the street as he impatiently waited for my voice, I smiled cynically at her cliche and classic, standard words that I often heard.
"Hmmm" dehem I replied not to be involved in nonsense that makes me sick and sicker.
"Let's go home and solve this problem well, you can't keep getting late like this" said the person again looking from a distance.
I laughed softly while crying not knowing what else to say, I immediately closed my phone, fell silent for a while and then moved from where I was curled up from, someone walked slowly towards me without me noticing because it was too late in the feeling of tightness and wanted to explode simultaneously.
"Kai" called her slowly from behind me, I turned my head and reflexed backwards.
"You" said I was surprised not to think he found my whereabouts that I thought were not easily known to others, he smiled faintly, smiling, I just kept quiet without a word after that and he realized the awkwardness that was going on between us.
"Since when are you here" I don't know how to deal with it at times like this, when I can't face anyone else, when I don't want to see anyone else, when I don't know how to behave towards others.
"When you're not in that room anymore" he said, grabbing my fingers to follow him, walking without many words, and I felt as if he had his nose in his stride without thinking.
I just fell silent in his footsteps that led me to a place that I did not know its direction, closing my eyes and wiping away the tears that continued to fall without being asked. he glanced at the girl with the fingers.
Silence accompanied us on the walk without me knowing the direction, no one started the conversation just the sound of the night beast sounding simple to each other, like the harmony God created to accompany them to enjoy such a perfect night.
For almost an hour we walked to the entrance to the hill where I had disappeared for a moment from the hustle and bustle of people who filled the room that made me cramped and wanted to leave immediately, the car is not far parked on the hillside. "let's go in" he said opening the side car door, I was stunned to look at him for a moment and did not respond at all to what he said.
he pushed my shoulders slowly to get into the car, blocking my head from stumbling when I wanted to enter. I just sat quietly without making a sound, before long he entered from a different side, too, looking at me for a moment and sighing at me flat without a word while putting up a seat belt for me. I was silent to do nothing or say nothing more, too, the car drove slowly away from the hilly area without anyone knowing only the silence and loneliness accompanied the two of them.
For an hour and a half we just kept quiet, I leaned my head and stared at the street full of lights illuminating the houses and streets they went through accompanied by Kenny G's saxshophone music sounding soft in the car.
it did not feel that the car had entered a fairly large yard where there were still white tents installed after the event, my body was slowly bearded staring nanar ahead, there was a heart that was sliced in pain, there was a body that was immediately limp, there was a body that was immediately limp, there are feet that feel unable to move.
however there is a heart that is hurt over the happiness of others, however there is a body that is injured behind the laughter of others. unfortunately the happiness and wide laughter belonged to his twin brother who yesterday morning had been possessed by someone who used to fill the recesses of his heart.
I stepped out of the car after he opened the seat belt that was holding my body to stay in the car, glancing at the glance of the man who had been accompanying and with me from earlier, I slowly walked towards the door of the house as if I wanted to swallow me round and round so that I would disappear and disappear.
I immediately stopped waiting for what was to happen between us, both silent waiting for the next step until the middle-aged man's sturdy hands opened wide expecting me to embrace him, holding him in his arms, the tears that I had been holding since on my way back flowed down, down, walking closer to him and hugging him tightly reclined the weight of my head that suddenly felt heavy and a moment later everything seemed to start to blur and turn dark.At the moment my body was held back by the middle-aged man, the man who was with me moved quickly to support my body that sagged down from unconsciousness.
"take Kaila to his room" the father asked, the man carrying Kaila's body to one of the rooms on the lower floor, the father opened the door, the man put it in a bed that had been cleaned. "he went where" asked the father, covering his youngest daughter with a cover bed up to half his body, "on the hill" replied the man politely on the other side standing a little away, father looked at Kaila who looked tired of her soul and body, rubbed Kaila's face and kissed her forehead gently.
"pardon me, Kai. forgive me for having to do this to you. Dad there is no choice between you and your brother" muttered I don't know what else to do. "let Kaila rest first, you must also be tired, thank you for your help finding Kaila" the father said as he looked at the man who brought his daughter home. He nodded slowly and then went out with his father and left Kaila who was already in bed.
"oh yes, are you going to stay here tonight, there is a guest room if you want to stay" said the father turned his head to the man's side earlier.
"thank you for the offer, but I went home to the apartment not far from here" the man rang and then walked out of the house to the car parked in the front yard.
kaila's father immediately went upstairs to his room, slowly opened the door and immediately fell asleep so tired today faced an unusual situation and had to go through it alone.
as the day progressed, Kaila still slept soundly undisturbed by the sunlight coming through the bedroom window. He got deeper into the bed, looking for the softness and aroma of white roses in the room that calms the soul even though the time has shown at 11 pm but Kaila still curled up in his bed. kaila's phone rang several times, her ears were disturbed so reflexively her hands fumbled in search of a flat object that sounded disturbing.
"hallo" replied Kaila rasping typical wake up.
"want until what time you sleep, hmmm. lest I give you a D for my course today" said someone across with a firm and heavy tone, Kaila opened her eyes wide, digesting the man's words for a moment, hurried to the bathroom to clean himself up. "must me" muttered Kaila will run but his feet do not tread perfectly when getting out of bed so that sound gedubrak a bit loud until it reaches the end of the phone that is still connected because it forgot to turn off.
the man who called her a little laughed at the noise that Kaila created this morning, she was happy to hear that Kaila did not remember yesterday's problems that brought her down.
Kaila quickly finished her batting which had been bad luck, grabbed the bathrobe, towards the walk closet snatching her proud jeans and plain t-shirt combined outer waist that looks fit on her tall body all the way, she said, the white sneaker had been grabbed by him and the bag that was sidelined on the sofa near his bed.
"the tea drink used to be non" said aunt Sum saw Kaila who half ran out of the house. Kaila paused for a moment to snatch the sweet tea made by the nagging Bik Sum and accompanied him from childhood.
"bik bik" Kaila's smile rushed while wearing her sneakers out of the house.he glimpsed white tents that are being dismantled, approaching the car that she usually wears perfectly parked on the other side of the house page, immediately forward his vehicle leaving the house that looks still frenzied.
kaila's breath was still heard when he reached the campus 20 minutes later because the car's speed was above average to arrive soon, he got out and half ran to the class that was about to start. looking for his friends who have sat perfectly because 5 minutes more classes are started by lecturers today.
"wake up Kai, calm down it's not too late" said Davi, the only male friend to accompany him during college.
"your tumben is late, usually not" said Icha, his best friend. Kaila grimaced a little to hear the words of the two because they did not know the incident yesterday in her house, the state lecturer entered the class all students immediately silent and calm when the teacher entered. The lecturer saw all students, "morning friends" he said.
"morning mas" his student's greeting back then he started the course in his amp. All students look serious and hear well the delivery given by the young lecturer.
