Can Your Majesty Look Into My Direction

Can Your Majesty Look Into My Direction
Prologues

“I must join the fight to protect His Highness the prince. Whatever I'll do to protect her”

The battle between two different camps is inevitable, all wanting to win and defeat. The war began with two brothers who fought each other for the love of a flower. They clashed with each other weapons and forces that would destroy also shocked the entire world.

No more white and black or colorful flowers, just a dark red that came out from every stab and stroke of the sword. The vast sky was in fact already darkened, yet many powers were dissipated and tempered like a rain of light, making it as bright dark as a lantern lacking oil.

The thundering sound of the collision of magical weapons and spiritual power was extremely ear-splitting. In a place called ‘Limiters’ many descendants of the gods shed blood and lost their lives.

Amidst that indisputable clash, a person stood tall with a weapon in his hand. The goddess in dark purple battle clothes wore a silver shield on her face, looking straight at the battle.

Only one person is always the center of attention. A descendant of a god in bright white oversized clothes that was already stained with blood, either his own or someone who became his opponent.

Rin was still glued to her place, the sharp corners of her eyes revealing a red color and a puddle of tears, like holding back a lot of feelings and words. His condition was already very messy, bloodstains were almost all over his clothes, yet he was still able to stand up straight.

Slowly with certainty both of his legs stepped forward, dodging and attacking in order to block any attack that would hit someone very valuable, without caring for himself who was also close to reaching his limits.

The bright light from the sky crept straight over the two shiny tips of the sword, destroying anyone it wanted.

Rin stepped up and continued to step when he saw someone dressed in white stained with blood pressing the tip of the sword on the ground supporting his body.

Pimply.

With the sound of sret, the slender and small hand had to slash and again spit out a deep red fresh blood that was hidden the color of his clothes.

“You..”.

Rin smiled blandly “Your Majesty step aside, let Rin face them” he said by emphasizing his teeth to ease the pain.

The war continued until neither side benefited. It ended without anyone winning or losing, leaving only the destruction and flow of the river created by the blood.

Even so, the two brothers still lived together with the flowers they fought over, but none of them knew if the war ended because of one's sacrifice.

A person who is willing to sacrifice his body and soul for the sake of one of them.

Rin always blocks out all attacks aimed at His Majesty and ends up sacrificing himself to stop the fatal mistake that the gods will make.

He did not want to see the people he loved dying before his eyes. Now only he is capable of stopping the war, and must be willing to lose his life for it.

“...” Rin smiled with blood still flowing at the corner of her lips, until the last breath, the person she loved was never beside her.

“If in a story, I do not expect to be a female character contested by two handsome princes. I also did not expect to be the main character in that story. But what I want is the love of someone who never saw me

Someone I always preferred. Someone I've always wanted to protect. Someone I always miss for a second. And that someone just loves someone else....

I remember the first time I stepped foot in the sky palace. The first time I saw him I liked him. And when I became the right hand that could help her in everything, it made me happy. Learn from him and know who he loves....

Even so I still have a sense of love and am willing to give anything for her. My heart, my soul, my loyalty, even my life can be at stake for his happiness. But the one thing I can't do is to turn myself into the woman he loves....

....Until one day I started to get tired. Tired of always giving up. Tired of continuing to grieve when he sees her with others. Tired of being a decoration. Tired of the love that makes me sick and hurt. And tired of lying to myself for thinking one day he would walk towards me, just seeing me as his goal and not someone else.

That's when I gave up. Choosing to let go of something that wasn't mine in the first place, so he could fly free without having to look back. I didn't leave her, but just stopped expecting her love.

I don't blame her or hate the woman she loves. I just feel stupid for having the intention to get her love. There is nothing wrong in this, because love cannot be forced, because the heart cannot be directed”

.....

Tests..tests...

The clear liquid descended from the corner of his eyes soaked the white paper engraved with black ink on it.

“Kakak view! Do you know if my best friend Rin loves you very much. But brother Lao never saw him and always ignored him” the third prince came back crying over the departure of his friend. He sat down with both hands covering his face.

“...” Riu Lao still stands looking at all of Rin's feelings in a notebook he once gave to the adviser. The flat-faced roar could not cover his current feelings, he shed tears of regret. Regret having wasted a man who is willing to sacrifice his body and soul for his sake.

Riu Lao left her sister who was still crying. Carrying the black book in her hand, walked through every corner of the palace she had ever been to together with Rin.

Arriving at a white bridge with a small stream below, he fell silent. Looking back on all the events where Rin was still standing next to her, being a loyal advisor and providing solutions to her problems.

Remembering how Rin always tried to make her happy and overcome the problems she had. And at that time Riu Lao always said 'DIAM' which hinted not to interfere with all his affairs.

While being with loved ones, Riu Lao always ignores the existence of his advisors.

Riu Lao shed tears again and this time she was already unable to cover up her guilt anymore. Grasping the book tightly in his hand and said softly “Ayi..” The tears spilled along with his knees that slumped down. Deep down in sorrow and regret.
