Butterfly Kupu Kumpu Kembutcher
01. The Painful Facts

Once in the morning that even the sun had not yet revealed its form, a woman of about 16 years old walked sinking out of her medieval European-style room.

She is Elria Trisya, the daughter of the sole heir to the throne of the Red Mentari Kingdom. At first he intended to walk the road in the forest close to Goose Lake, but his intention was stopped when he saw a man of general rank that he was very familiar with. Arsel Aerio, the trusted general of his father, the King.

He followed Arsel who walked towards the border between the Red Mentari Kingdom and the Purple Mist Forest.

"Why did Arsel go to the forbidden area? I have to follow him. Uh, but if you follow the kek gini must be found out. I better use invisibility magic, so I'm less likely to get caught." Murmured Elria while reciting the invisibility spell.

Elria climbed a tree not far from where Arsel is now, about 5 meters away. Elria continued to watch Arsel perform a movement or dance that Elria thought was strange.

Suddenly the land near Arsel split and gave rise to two silhouettes of living creatures that look like humans in general but have reddish skin and taper horns on his forehead.

Elria held her breath as she looked at the two demons coming out from the crack of the ground near Arsel. Elria frowned, she was thinking what is Arsel's relationship with the demons? Though the royal rules forbid all the people of Red Mentari Kingdom related to the demon race especially with the Black Moon Kingdom.

Elria fluttered in her place, she was trying to hear what Arsel was talking about with the two demon humans before him.

"This time what information did you get?" asked a demon human who had long hair, which Elria thought was a woman.

"There will be the coronation of the Princess heir to the throne of the Red Mentari Kingdom in the next two weeks, I hope you can prepare several thousand demon troops. Because at that time the guard will I limp in some points that are not too strategic. Then, please disguise yourself as ordinary people and mingle as much as possible with other people so that no one is suspicious." arsel said as he informed the plan he had laid out on the two demon humans before him.

"I will tell this to the Demon King and please keep this meeting a secret" said the other demon.

Elria was shocked to learn that General Arsel, who was trusted by his father, could betray the Red Mentari Kingdom so easily. Elria was very disappointed in Arsel, whom she considered to be her brother.

Elria came down from the tree after digesting the situation and approached Arsel after canceling his invisibility magic. Her eyes water, a sign she's crying.

Crackling

"Who's there?!" arsel exclaimed when he heard the sound of a branch fracture.

Elria came out of the bush where she hid to get closer. Elria looked at the two demon humans with a hateful and cynical look.

"Mr Princess?!" Arsel exclaimed in shock as he looked at Elria coming out of the bush not far from him.

"Why? You surprised? Brother Arsel?!" exclaimed Elria with a cynical tone.

"Why are you here?" asked Arsel in a soft tone.

"Stop your charade. I already know that you betrayed the Red Mentari Kingdom and became the eyes of the Black Moon Kingdom, right?!" elria shouted with a trembling voice. Signs will cry again.

The two demon-human faces became panicked when they found out that Elria had heard of their plan, the two immediately went back into the crack of the ground to disappear so as not to interfere in Arsel's matter with Elria. They hope that Arsel can solve this 'small' problem.

"You better come with me back to the Red Mentari Kingdom and receive a severe punishment for your treason!" exclaimed Elria in a cold tone.

Arsel rolled his eyes lazily, because he had already been caught. Why do I still have to pretend?

"Well.... Since it's been discovered, I don't think I need to pretend anymore. You must be asking why I betrayed the Red Mentari Kingdom right? It has to do with my family. But, I don't think all the royal family would care that much for their subordinates." said Arsel, sighing softly.

"Why do you think like that?!" elria asked in a raucous voice, she had already endured her cries in such a way. But, it could only hold back her tears while her trembling and raucous voice could not be hidden.

"Huh? Why do I think like that?! Try to think, do you royal family really care about us?! Don't you just think we're dolls?! Which only you wear when you need and throw away when it is useless?!" Arsel exclaimed furiously upon hearing Elria's question.

Silent silent Arsel laughed sinisterly in his heart, the princess of the Red Mentari Kingdom was so naive and innocent.

"Why are you doing this? I always thought that I had an older brother, I even felt that I had an older brother who could protect his younger brother. I keep thinking you're my brother, the greatest brother I've ever had. But, all my thoughts towards you are broken to pieces. I don't think there's any 'Sister Arsel' who's always looking after Ria, no more 'Sister Arsel' who teaches Ria riding, archery, and swordsmanship. There is also no more 'Sister Arsel' who has always been a friend of Ria's story. There will never and ever again be the 'Sister Arsel' that Ria loves. There is only 'Arsel Aerio' who betrayed his king and his kingdom" Elria said in a trembling voice and made what he said less clear.

One by one the tears escaped the eyes that turned bright brown, making anyone who saw it feel a deep sadness that emanated from his eyes.

Out of nowhere a feeling of guilt arose in the depths of Arsel's heart when he saw a tearful Elria before him. She could not bear to see Elria crying, her hands slowly raised. Arsel had intended to wipe away the tears that continued to glide smoothly on the white Elria cheek, but he paused when he remembered what he had done just a moment ago.

Arsel let out a rough sigh, various questions raging in his inner room. What is he doing right? Will the demon race and the Demon king not betray him? and various other questions made him frown deeply.

"I won't forbid you to complain about this to His Majesty the King, but do you have any evidence that I am allied with the demon race? Didn't you?" arsel said in a cold tone after being silent for quite a while.

The ambitions and whispers of the demons in his heart were too great, so any feelings that made him think to stop his plans would be annihilated and make himself a soulless creature like the demon race.

Elria gasped in shock upon hearing Arsel's cold tone. He had never heard Arsel speak in a cold tone if he had already used his nickname, Ria.

"I think what you're saying has a point, but before the coronation. I will look for solid evidence to let everyone know that you betrayed the Red Sun Kingdom and became the eyes of the Devil race and the Black Moon Kingdom!" elria was full of determination.

Arsel who saw Elria's response only smiled faintly and walked away leaving Elria near the border between the Red Mentari Kingdom and the Purple Mist Forest because about 1 hour later the sun would rise radiating its rays warm.

Elria herself walked back to her original destination of Goose Lake with raging thoughts and erratic feelings.
