Nayla Cahyani Atifah and Ricky Adrian Reynaldi Permana.
They are children raised by the same parents. Because since their babies grew up together, it made their relationship very close, like a sibling.
Though they are not brothers, because their parents are different, only when Nayla is a baby, Riki's parents take care of her.
Riki grew up to be a very spoiled and whiny child while Nayla was the opposite.
When Riki gets a little reprimand from the father and mother and Riki does not like the reprimand, then he will complain to Nayla. Even when the boy was crying, Nayla would calm him down.
Since then Riki is very comfortable with the existence of Nayla at his side. Whatever Nayla says to him, he will obey and whatever Nayla does, that boy is the most excited.
Although they have different parents, many assume that they are twins.
Indeed indeed! When they were small they looked similar. Maybe that's because they're always together to make them look alike.
The closeness and cohesiveness they always showed, making them look never to be separated, especially with Riki, the boy did not want the separation to happen.
But unfortunately, when they were six years old, they finally separated. Because Nayla had to come with her papa to Japan.
Because of the Farewell, their relationship became tenuous and ended Riki hated Nayla, because before leaving Nayla made a promise to Riki and the girl broke her promise.
Nayla promises Riki, if their separation won't be long. Nayla said if she would come again to Indonesia, the day before their birthday arrived and they would celebrate their birthday together, because they were born in the year, month, month, and the same date. Riki was very happy to hear the promise and immediately agreed to it.
And when that day comes, Riki with a burning spirit goes to the airport alone to wait for his best friend to come, but all day waiting, Nayla will not come.
The second year was the same, but the boy was not disappointed. Riki understood and remained faithful waiting for the little girl.
He always hoped for Nayla's arrival, because Riki had saved so many stories of joy and sorrow that he wanted to share with Nayla, but still his little friend never came and kept his promise until finally Riki was very disappointed.
And when they turned eighteen, the girl returned to Riki's life and now she is no longer his best friend but his adopted brother.
Riki's parents adopt Nayla when her papa is pronounced dead in a plane crash.
But unfortunately, the wound in Riki's heart is still very strong, a sense of disappointment because of the betrayal and lies of the girl was never lost and still always there.
So Riki can't be as familiar as he used to be with the girl and can't accept Nayla as his foster sister.
While Nayla also felt an uncomfortable feeling from the man when she first set foot in the house again, the man greeted her with a gaze so laden with hatred, disappointment, and disillusionment, and hostility.
Nayla did not blame Riki's attitude of always showing her hatred towards the girl, because this was indeed her fault, but she also would not let the man hate her continuously.
When they go to college, Riki is still always indifferent to Nayla, but patiently the girl always acts otherwise.
He hopes that with the attitude of attention he always showed, the man can come back as good as when they were little. But to no avail at all, Riki still behaved the same, resentful and indifferent.
Until one day, the man was being nice to Nayla. The girl felt very happy at that time, but it turned out that Riki's goal of doing good was, because she wanted to know the reason Nayla reneged on her promise.
And that is a condition that the girl must fulfill, if Nayla wants their relationship to constantly improve then the girl must tell her the reason. But again and again, Nayla still did not tell it.
Finally Riki gave the girl a warning, to no longer bother her after this and asked the girl to behave, as if they had never known each other.
Nayla was devastated then, she did not want to not tell her the reason, only she could not tell it. But obeying the man's wishes, neither could he do. Acting like strangers when they were brothers was a strange thing to Nayla and could not be well accepted by her reasoning.
So Nayla used another way to show her concern as a brother, but it was done in secret and continues to this day, when they were already twenty-five years old.
