chapter 12. official introduction

Laila was not very comfortable at this party. The first thing that made her uncomfortable was that Lalia was indeed unfamiliar with a party, and the second Laila felt very sorry to Akira's grandfather who was very kind to Laila from now on.

Laila confirmed that she was sitting facing Grandpa, listening carefully to whatever Grandpa was going to tell her.

"O.yeah?" Laila pretended to be enthusiastic.

'Who exactly is the woman Akira loves?' Think Laila.

"Yes, he always told Grandpa that women are beautiful!" Tell Grandpa to Laila.

Laila just smiled in response to Grandpa's words, and imagined how lucky the woman Akira loved was. That woman must have meant a lot in Akira's life, so that made Akira so fight for her.

"But, after Grandpa met you. Grandpa reckon Akira was wrong to say that you're beautiful!" Firmly Grandpa with such a loud tone.

"I mean Grandpa, Laila ugly?" Tanya Laila pretended to be sad to hear Grandpa's words.

"Haha.haha..." Grandfather laughed so loosely at Laila's question. His laughter attracted the attention of those around him.

Some people looked at Grandpa in surprise. Because Grandpa has never once shown his friendly attitude since a few years ago.

Akira who also heard the laughter of the Grandfather who was so loose and without burden, immediately said goodbye to his colleagues.

Akira bounces to meet Laila and Grandpa who have attracted the attention of many people in the party.

"What made Grandpa laugh so hard?" Akira asked as he stood beside Laila, and looked towards the Grandfather.

Akira looked at Laila's pouting face, then stroked Laila's back to calm Laila down.

"Why?" Akira asked Laila in a slightly whispered voice and slightly brought her mouth closer to Laila.

Without Akira realizing it makes Laila so shocked and also makes Laila's heart race quite fast with Akira's behavior.

"Grandfather!" Appoint Laila with a frown.

Laila tried to neutralize her heartbeat by acting spoiled to Akira.

Grandfather was still laughing, without caring for Akira who had just asked him.

"Grandfather ?" Akira asked for an explanation.

"I've loved lying since I was a kid!" Said Grandpa who was cut by Akira.

"What lie?" Ask Akira to panic.

Akira is afraid that Grandpa is speaking something that makes Laila know the feelings she has for Laila.

Grandfather paid no heed to Akira's words at all. Grandfather chose to look at Laila then clasped the hands of the beautiful girl in front of him.

"You are not only beautiful Laila, but very beautiful like an angel!" Praise Grandpa while looking at Laila.

Hearing that the two cheeks Laila met red, because of shame and also happy.

While Akira breathed a sigh of relief, he thought Grandpa had told Laila something about his feelings for Laila.

"You look a lot like my late wife, who was so graceful, but so firm." Said Grandpa reminiscing about the wife who had left him a few years ago.

"Grandfather, the story can be continued later. Soon grandfather will have to welcome the guests to the stage!" It was clear that Akira was to divert his Grandfather's mind.

Laila who heard Akira's words felt confused and looked at Akira asking for an explanation through their eyes.

Akira pointed backstage. There stands an event staff, the staff giving code to Akira so that Grandpa and Akira can get ready to take the stage.

Before Akira leaves, Laila holds Akira's hand to ask for an explanation of what Akira is about to do.

"What does that mean?" Tanya Laila was suspicious of what was happening right now.

Akira who realized, that all this time Laila only considered herself an ordinary staff of a luxury restaurant, must be confused.

Smiling Akira asks Laila to wait for him for a while. So that later he can explain with a long time.

"You wait here for a minute!" Akira Pinta. "Let me explain, don't listen to anyone!"

Laila did not answer Akira's words with words. He nodded his head a few times, smiling.

Akira then helps Grandpa to stand up from his chair. Akira led the Grandfather to walk towards the backstage of the event.

Seeing Akira walking with Grandpa, some people started whispering about who Akira was. Which Laila could clearly hear.

" So that's the heir to the company that was hidden from the past, and doesn't want to appear in public?"

"Pretty so. Why is he hiding?"

"That's a rumor that he's bad to be wrong!"

"Why did I refuse him?"

Laila tried to digest some of the words of the people who were at the party about Akira. Laila collects puzzles about Akira from the conversation of people around her.

Not long ago the name of Akira was also Grandpa was called to ride the stage of the event which was deliberately prepared so majestically.

Grandpa's name is said to be the main director of a large company that is holding this party. Akira's name is said to be the heir.

"Well don't linger anymore, let's welcome our chief director..."

That was all Laila could hear, the rest of Laila was already unable to hear what the host said on the grand stage.
