A message came in. Esme who was waiting in line at the Minimarket cashier immediately reached into her pants pocket. Who's sending him messages tonight?

"The total is Rp.738,300, Miss." The cashier gave Esme a swipe with groceries. Esme paid for it, then immediately picked up the groceries and walked outside.

Esme was silent in front of the Minimarket. He reached back into his pants pocket, picked up his phone, and called Hanabi.

"Yes, Hanabi. We haven't seen each other in a long time" Esme said behind the phone.

"There's nothing. Come home, it's night." Esme walked into the car.

I don't think I need to tell Alucard that Ara met Alice and Leo. I wouldn't have gotten Alucard involved if they were planning something for me. (Inner Esme)

Alucard checked the contents of the crackle, whatever Esme bought.
