Before I left to run the Quest. I tried to find a weapon equipment shop to equip my combat weapons to make it easier for me on the way if I met the enemy.
I don't know why this unexpected coincidence. From a distance I saw Christine, Davin and two strangers walking, if from her direction, they seemed to want to go to the guild.
"Hoiii Christie, over here!" I called Christie in a loud voice.
I don't know if my voice will be heard by Christie or not, because the cry of my call was mixed with the noise of my surroundings created by the merchants who were shouting out their wares as well as the people who were shopping.
I repeated my call several times, until Christie finally realized my call and turned to look at me.
"Ohh Kazura."
Then Christie, David and his two friends came up to me.
"Where have you finished Christie, David, and...?" I opened the first conversation by asking the four of them.
"I just finished the Quest we took. Now we want to make a report and take the rewards to the guild. And introduce them these are my friends."
"Include my name Rin. I'm a magic user, greetings."
So he said, a young girl with a carefree face about the age of 15 years, wearing witch clothes, holding a magic wand, brown eyes, and brunettes who were on Christie's right.
"Include me Kazura, greetings."
Along with nodding back to Rin's words.
"Include my name Gorther, I'm the tanker on the team in salam know."
Said a man about 180 centimeters tall, big and sturdy like a wrestler, wearing armour and holding a shiny silver-colored shield that was standing straight next to David.
"Greetings know also."
"Where are you going now?"David said to me.
"I now want to buy a sword and a set of armor, but I don't know where to buy it. I just happened to see you so I just call you all want ahu where a good shop to buy hehehe weapons equipment...."
"Ohh that. Then how about I drive you to the hardware store? , you just wait in the town square, I'll see you there soon?"
Christie offered her help to me with a happy face.
"Don't you bother Christie?"
"Just calm down, just calm down you're not bothering me anyway."
"Well, I'll take your help Christie."
After that Christie, David, Rin, and Gorther went to the guild, while I walked to the town square which was not far from where I was.
***
About 15 minutes passed as I waited for Christie at the edge of the fountain pool in the middle of the square had finally come by then.
"Sorry, I've kept you waiting a long time."
"Dad it's okay Christie, I'm the one who asked you for help." With a condescension I replied to his words like that.
"You don't have to feel that way. Then we'll leave now,"
"All right then."
We headed south from the square in the morning towards noon. Around my streets there were a lot of people passing by, and children playing with great joy.
"So how did the Quest you did yesterday was it easy?"
I opened my first conversation with him with a question.
"Yesterday was pretty bad, we almost couldn't complete the Quest yesterday."
"How did it happen?"
"The Spire Village we protected yesterday, more than 12 Red Horned Wolves attacked the village. We were overwhelmed because we had to protect the village where most of the children and parents live, making us have to work harder. And again the Red Horned Wolf was a Demon Animal, so they had more physical strength than ordinary wolves, until finally three out of four members including myself were seriously injured."
"Is that right, I'm sorry for taking you with this hurt person?" I humbly asked Badanki to apologize to Christie.
"Ahhh, no, no. You don't have to apologize. My wounds have been healed due to the help of Rin as a magician who can use [Heal] magic (healer) that helps us from behind. So let us defeat all those wolves."
On the way I just listened to him tell a careful story, seen from the look of his cheerful face, it seems Christie looks happy to tell her experience.
"Ohh that's how it is, so you can kill how many Red Horned Wolves?"
"Hehehe.. I managed to defeat 5 horn wolves and became the top scorer in David's team."
"It's great that you Christie, can defeat 5 demonic animals."
"Well, hehehe...." Our conversation stopped for a moment. But Christie soon restarted the conversation.
"Ohh yeah you kept yesterday doing what Quest?"
As soon as asked himself. He seemed to be curious about what quest I was on yesterday.
"Ahh if yesterday I only run a simple quest that is a quest to pluck 5 stalks of white lavender herbal plant."
"Hmmm...., so did you finish it?"
"Well, I managed to solve it, dong."
"Heee."
"Ohh look, we're almost there to Kazura!" Christie said as she charged into a shop with a shield and sword made of wood hanging over the door.
'Tring-trings' chimes as Christie pushes, opening the door. The first one to enter the store was Christie, then I was followed behind her.
"Welcome!" Shouted loudly a white-haired old man wearing a black tooi kupluk, has a long white beard and a large body but contains like, if from his appearance can be said he is a dwarf, he has a white beard, welcome us both in.
But he did not see us and just focused his head down while rubbing a shiny long sword.
Before approaching the old man who greeted us, I looked around this shop and was immediately amazed to see the many different forms of weapons and armor.
"Yooo old man Sieg, as usual you always clean your sword." Without hesitation Christie called out to the old man who was rubbing a sword.
The old man called Christie named Sieg immediately turned around, looking at Christie.
"It turns out you're a bad girl. What are you gonna do here?" Denan ketus Sieg replied to Christie's words.
"Ahh happens to be currently driving my new friend who wants to buy weapons and other equipment. So I'll just bring it here, is it old man's fault."
"Ohh that. So who's your friend?"
Sieg looked at me behind Christie standing behind Christie.
"He, meet the old man, his name is Reizaki Kazura, a novice fighter who just debuted yesterday."
I bowed my body, saluting Sieg-san.
"Ohh a newbie and also his unique name that I just heard."
When Sieg-san said that, I could only reply with an awkward smile.
"Ohh yes. My name is Sieg, I'm the owner of this store. Greetings to the young."
Then I pick out a sword there, from a long sword to a short sword. But all were western swords, axes, ivory, and other weapons and there were no katanas in the shop.
"Sieg-san excuse me for asking."
"Ohh asked what the young man was about."
"Etto.., it's like. Is there no Katana in your shop?"
Sieg was confused by my words and said.
"I don't know what you mean by Sakana (fish) is young."
"It's not Sieg-san. I don't mean sakana but katana. The katana was a thin, curved sword, having one sharp sword eye."
"Hmmm.if for that, I just knew there was a sword shape like that. I'm interested in your idea, I'll make you that sword for a while wear this sword."
Sieg threw the sword he was holding right at me. I also caught the sword. After I held onto this shiny sword, I gently grabbed it from side to side of the opposite end. This sword is neither large nor small, about 60 centimeters long with a handle length of 20 centimeters.
I then swung the sword I was holding with some basic moves that I memorized, because I used to be quite experienced in the field of kendo martial arts.
"It's pretty good to wear Sieg-san.it's neither heavy nor light." After trying his sword.
"The sword is called the sword of Gladius."
It turns out that I just knew a sword that was shaped like this, quite unique. But if I don't buy a weapon, I will definitely be troubled to meet being able to complete this quest and also if I don't have a weapon and only use magic, I will certainly get tired quickly and I may die silly from my enemies.
"Well then, how much is this sword Sieg-san worth?"
"That's 5 silver coins only, I'll give you a discount."
"Are you crazy old man! Why is the Gladius sword so expensive, even the price exceeds the price of my Rapier sword." Ketus Christie with a loud tone raised a rebuttal to Sieg-san who pegged the expensive price of Gladius' sword.
However Sieg-san seems to respond to the rebuttal casually.
"Light be the bad boy. I set a price like that is not intended to deceive him, but in reality the sword has a process of making it quite difficult and the material is also difficult to obtain."
"But! That sword."
Before Christie continued her talk, I immediately cut her sentence while holding her shoulder.
"Had Christie this isn't as expensive as you think, what matters is the quality of this sword I think is pretty good."
"If that's what you want Kazura."
I also took the money in my pocket and paid for the sword I was holding right now. Sieg-san then gave the sword serpent, and I put this sword into the skeleton.
"Just then Christie let's get out of here because all I need is this."
"Wait Kazura. You don't need armor or boots."
Christie reminded me of something I had to buy back.
"Ohh yeah I need boots."
Christie immediately picked up a pair of dark brown boots near the shield to her left.
"What if these boots. These shoes are made of bull skin and the woman fits your sword's shell."
"All right, I'll try."
I tried the boots Christie recommended. After I put it on it seemed to fit the size of my legs, without thinking long I immediately paid it.
"How much is Sieg-san worth?"
"That's what I'm giving you for free."
It seems that luck enveloped you right now, I got a pair of real leather boots for free. But I'm not entirely sure he's giving this away for free, I'm trying to convince him to come back.
"Is this really for me?"
"Well right."
After getting the answer that convinced me to accept the gift.
"Thank you Sieg-san."
"okay."
"Alright then we'll excuse Sieg-san."
He just nodded as we left his shop. And when we were outside Christie said to me.
"Why don't you buy Kazura's Armor?"
"I don't want that heavy in my body. It can make me tired, hehehe..."
With a rather awkward laugh I showed her. Christie only took a deep breath when she heard my words with one hand holding her own waist.
"But you can buy armor made of leather. San it can reduce the impact of a serious attack right."
"Well that's it.." I can't answer Christie's words, because basically what she said is true. But honestly I didn't think that far.
Christie let out a long sigh because she didn't get an answer and she said, "Ahh well, I know for sure a beginner like you doesn't have a lot of money right."
I nodded to her words, even though in reality I had lied to her that I had no money.
"So now what do you want Kazura?"
"Hmmp.., I want to buy clothes and rope for this sword to make it easier for me on my way."
"Then I'll take you where you want."
"Thank you Christie."
Then we started shopping, starting from shopping for clothes, storage bags, food accessories and others. We finally finished shopping, then walked to the city gate and ate some bread.
"Thank you for making Christie's shopping."
"Yes with Kazura. You're my friend."
"This is for you."
I gave him a bracelet made of colorful stones. He looked happy when I gave him the bracelet.
"What does this mean Kazura." He was very nervous and had a slightly flushed face when I gave him the bracelet.
"This is for you as a sign of my gratitude, for helping me shop."
"O-ohh so yeah. Thank you Kazura for the bracelet."
"Then I will set out to run my Quest."
"You be careful, Kazura."
I just nodded my head to Christie, and began my journey towards the village of Moura.
