After Gavin finished with his essay presentation, he and Julio immediately walked out of the gray-painted building. Lilia and Fani were already waiting in the front yard while drinking iced oranges and eating snacks.
“You buy drinks same food where?” gavin asked confusedly.
“In the canteen of the engineering faculty there,” replied Fani while pointing to the east of the building.
Julio frowned. “You guys went there?”
“So one of the university employees hit Lilia, and she apologized and bought us a drink.”
Julio nodded in understanding, he did not ask further about the incident. “So where do you want to go?”
“To the beach,” replied Fani excitedly.
“You brought your own motor?”
“Iya sir.”
“Hahh, then leave the motor here first, we use the car only.”
“Pak Julio bring a car?” ask Gavin curiously.
“Ya, come.”
Lilia, Fani and Gavin follow Julio to the car park. The four men left the campus to the beach which was located some distance from the place.
“We should be back before 5 o'clock okay? You will go home on a motorbike,” Julio reminded.
“Yahh, can't see sunset dong pak?” fani was disappointed.
“If you do not bring a motor of course it is okay, but the journey home by motor will be far away, you will be too late until home.”
Gavin did not comment, he agreed with Julio. He also did not want his female friends to be on the streets too long at night. Lilia also did not comment on the obrolanan.
After 20 minutes of travel, the black car arrived at a white sandy beach. The four men immediately descended.
“Wah, very good,” said Fani amazed.
Gavin took some photos with his smart phone. The two friends of Lilia were running around on the beautiful white sand.
Lilia walked slowly followed Julio along the warm white sand. The girl's brown eyes stared at the sea and closed her eyes feeling the sea breeze hitting her body.
“You didn't join Fani and Gavin there?” ask Julio.
Lilia opened her eyes slowly and then looked towards Julio who had been walking beside her ever since. “No... .”
“How are you? I heard you've been quiet lately?”
Lilia stared at the end of the shoe she was wearing. “I am in need of calm...”.
“Don't blame yourself for something that happened to someone else,” Julio said softly.
Lilia looked in a faraway direction. “Then I have to blame who?”
Julio looked at Lilia with a shocked expression, only to realize that the girl's expression looked not as cheerful as before. “Do not blame anyone. Something that has happened may have been supposed to happen, it is not because of you, not because of anyone.”
Lilia was silent then let out a long breath. “Ya, I'll try to understand that.”
Lilia continued her steps as well as Julio. The two walked along the beach opposite to Fani and Gavin.
“Ehmm sir, there's something I want to ask.”
“Ya?”
“Do you know a man named Jerry Andara?”
Hearing that question, Julio's face turned pale. He looked surprised at what Lilia asked.
“Where did you meet that man?”
Seeing Julio's unnatural reaction, he felt that there was something strange that might be related to a woman named ‘Nina’.
“You know him? That's the guy who drove me and Fani to the canteen of the engineering faculty.”
“Pak? You why?” asked Lilia confused.
Julio was silent with his strange expression. “Nothing... .”
“You haven't answered my question, but it looks like Mr Julio knows that name huh?”
Julio silently stared at his place with an expression of a frustrated-looking person.
“Pak?”
“Ah, forgive me, we are back now.”
“You why the hell? At least tell me what's up.”
Julio massaged his forehead, suddenly his head hurt. “I'm sorry, but I'll explain later.”
Lilia looked at Julio with a look of wonder. “What does this have to do with a woman named Nina?”
Julio looked at Lilia with a surprised expression. His face grew pale hearing that name.
“Actually who is Nina?” ask Lilia again.
“What did that person say something?” julio asked with an anxious expression, his brother became chaotic.
'If Jerry knew where this girl was, he would have found out. I better get them all home soon, ' Julio muttered inwardly.
“Again you did not answer my question.” Lilia turned away from Julio with an annoyed expression. He did not look back even though Julio called him.
The brown-eyed girl immediately returned to the car without looking back. Fani and Gavin look confused when they see Lilia return first to the car.
Not long after, Julio approached the two of them. “Fani, Gavin, we're back now.”
“Eh? Why sir?”
“I have a business, so I have to come back right now,” Julio replied reasoned.
Fani and Gavin looked at him with astonished expressions. The two of them had never seen the young teacher express such an expression. The three men returned to the black car. Lilia was already sitting with her eyes closed while wearing earphones. This leaves Fani and Gavin confused.
“Pak, Lilia why?” ask Fani curiously.
“What because we have to return early?” ask Gavin.
“Ehmm yeah roughly like that. Oh yes, you guys I just deliver direct yes?” julio said slowly.
“Loh then our motor how?” gavin asked confusedly.
“Motor you and Fani will be escorted by my friend, can you guys give me the key?” julio said with a serious expression.
Fani and Gavin were still astonished by his teacher's suddenly strange demeanor. But they trusted the young teacher and gave him the keys.
Lilia remained silent with her eyes closed even though she was not sleeping. He was angry that Julio had not explained anything to him. Though the expression of the young teacher looked so worried, but he did not tell Lilia at all what made her worry.
‘Who is Nina?’ lilia muttered in her heart.
“Can I ask you please?” julio said suddenly.
“If we can of course we will help,” replied Gavin quickly.
“Betul,” said Fani who agreed with Gavin's remarks.
“Please take care of Lilia, do not even leave her alone,” Julio said slowly. He hoped that Lilia would stay asleep and not listen to anything she said. Yes, even though the girl was not sleeping. Of course he heard all the talk that Julio had spoken since.
Fani nodded. “We will take care of Lilia really, why did Mr Julio ask that?”
“Ehmmm, that's because I want you to pay more attention to your friends who still seem to be in shock since the events of Zora."
Gavin and Fani understand. The two did not ask anything more and let the young teacher focus on the highway.
