Rangga is busy taking pictures of various objects from all angles, from the island that appears in the distance to the atmosphere on the yacht with a camera to capture the moment, while the Princess and the others stared in amazement at the island which was increasingly approached by the sightseeing boat they were riding on.
The princess did not understand why the island was named Magenta, there was nothing that referred to the color of Magenta on the island. Perhaps the name is adapted to the name of the villa, but whatever the name is not a problem because the island still displays the same charm as other islands in the Thousand Islands..
From a distance, the figure of the island resembles a gray biscuit with exotic curves and tiered contours. The tares and throngs of acacia trees grew on the wild grass that spread like a dark green velvet blanket. Several gulls screaming noisily flew around the small pier built on the coastal promontory that juts out about a hundred meters from Villa Magenta. The two-storey building, the only one on the island, stands upright facing the sea.
The yacht's speed slowed after Captain Yungke turned off the engine motor and relied on the current thrust towards the small dock that began to appear in the eye. Skillfully the old man controlled the yacht from the steering room to approach the dock on the right side, to then stop slowly so that the hull of the ship was really close to the pier hall.
After the ship's position stabilized, the six young men got off the ship with their own equipment. There was a crackling of wooden floors as they stepped on it while dragging their respective suitcases. The princess felt a little unsteady, she did not know if it was due to the influence of the trip while on the ship or because the dock floor was hit by the waves of currents below, which made everything feel moving.
The next hardest part was stepping in the sand between the pier and Villa Magenta. Moist sand stuck to the bottom of the footwear so Desman, Rangga, and Shanti who happened to wear sandals several times almost perched, especially when the waves swept up to the sand on the beach. Sand also buried the small wheels of the Princess's suitcase so that it is impossible to carry the object without carrying it.
Occasionally the wind toying with the leaves of the coconut tree to cause a rustling sound, while the gulls are still busy looking for fish to roar, clashing strongly against the pounding waves that break on the gray sandy beach. The princess could not bear to see the sea with its beaches so tempting, making her want to swim immediately.
Dicky who arrived first on the terrace of the villa pulled out the key to open the door. Everything that is there is exactly what is depicted in the photo sent by email, but with a more beautiful beauty the original form of course. The age of Villa Magenta may be more than fifty years, but the building is made of the best quality wood so that it still stands firm without being weathered here and there.
The princess and her friends walked into the villa and commented happily, admiring its saloon-like interior in cowboy movies. The villa consists of two floors. The first floor has two rooms, namely the kitchen where there is a toilet that is at once functioned as a laundry place, and the middle room as a relaxing room containing a sofa and television. While on the top floor there are two bedrooms with one bathroom that is located separately. The room seemed empty because there was not much furniture there, and it even added to the relaxed atmosphere it displayed.
"Hows it? Good is the place?” dicky asked him to develop his hands exactly as the property salesman was offering his merchandise. “All parts of this villa are made roomy shape so that circulation runs well. Even indoors we can smell the fresh sea air.”
“I actually do not really like the fishy smell, but do not want to comment about this,” whispered Shanti to the Princess until the two girls giggled amusedly. Dicky even thought his style was so impressive that his smile widened..
Dicky divided them into two rooms on the upper floor, the female in the room facing east while the male facing west. The princess was happy with the division because the sea view from her room looked better. Just like downstairs, the furniture in this room was not too much either. On the floor there are only three soft mattresses that are made into one, complete with clean sheets and blankets. I don't know what the use of the blanket is because the Princess is sure the haw will be quite hot later tonight.
“How? Pretty convenient?” Dicky asked after catching up with the girls to the room five minutes later.
“Lumayan,” said Shanti who is still busy cleaning her clothes from inside the suitcase. “Free less AC, yes..”
“Basic people city. Alu rasain alone later if malem. Indeed the air is hot but the wind is strong enough to make you shiver,” Dicky responded.
“It hangs where, huh?” shanti stretched out her bath coat.
Shower coat?
The princess shook her head, the preparation of this one girl was complicated from the first. Putri used to be confused with herself, had thought she was not a real woman, if she saw Shanti always bothered with this - it was what she said was a woman's business, she said, he was never interested in the same thing. But now he realized that Shanti herself was willing to trouble herself with unnecessary items...
“There!” sahut Ninda pointed to the wooden cabinet in the corner of the room. The cupboard is attached to the wall so it is impossible to look deep at once.
After putting the bag down, without having to clean the items in it first, the Princess joined Dicky and Rangga, who were not involved in the process, “Gue does not know if my eyes are wrong but I have seen in some places installed fluorescent lights. Is there electricity?”
“I should also like that,” comments Rangga laugh.
"Come with me..” said Dicky smilingly.
The three circled the building towards the backyard where there was a small building next to which stood a tower for water tanks. In contrast to the smooth sandy front yard, here the sand is rougher and tanned because it mixes with the soil. The dense acacia trees made the atmosphere shady. Mounds of land high enough to block their view to see the scenery further, especially those at the northern end of Magenta Island. “You must go up to see the other edge of this island.”
“How wide is this island?” ask Rangga.
“About twenty hectares.”
“Not including large island, yes.”.
“What's behind it?” ask Princess.
“Players, with grass and weeds waist-high.”
“Definitely many snakes or insects..” comments Princess wide.
“Maybe too. But you're the most hobby of snakes?” Dicky grin.
“All girls also like tame snakes and live in cages,” Rangga said with a ignorant smile.
“Dih! Your brain porn. I don't have digituin.”
Dicky opened the door forcibly. The key is a bit jammed and when pushed it makes a loud creaking sound. Rangga and Putri who were standing behind Dicky saw a 15 KVA generator in the middle of the room. Six solar jerry cans were placed next to the door, while the empty oil cans under the engine had become a comfortable home for the spider family.
“The plan is my prospective in-laws want to build a tennis court with a swimming pool. The facility needs enough power so that this generator is built first”
“But there is no?” ask Princess. “What's the construction off?”
“Pending. Not a matter of money, but more technical... You see, the prospective in-laws have not yet dapet developers who want to design projects in remote places like this.”
“So the generator is now only used for lighting?” ask Rangga.
“Iya. It's wasteful anyway, but it doesn't matter.”
“This is very different from the island of Gilligan,” Rangga added with a disappointed style made-up.
“But fun for us, right?” reply Dicky.
“This is the curse of being a modern person, much depends on the same electricity,” Princess laughs.
“Whatever it is. The important thing is we should not go back to the Flinstone era,” Dicky commented.
“But it will be more fun if you can back to nature..”
“Well, you fit so George..“ cut Rangga. “Georgina and her Kirrin island.”
“So what, so loh,” said Princess sebal.
“Gensetnya will be ignited pas magrib later.By the way about the island of Gilligan..” said Dicky. “....actually this place will really be the island of Gilligan if there is no genset this. Try to see your phone.”
Putri and Rangga pulled out the phone together and found the signal on each phone was lost. Dicky said, “The distance of this island is too far from the mobile operator so it can not be reached here. Welcome to the world without mobile communication.”
“Sial, even though I want to call my business later tonight,” maki Rangga.
“Hey, remember..there should be no businesses at this time,“ Putri hit her friend's arm followed by laughter from Rangga and Dicky. “Gue will be a holiday with you not to meet people who continue to busy themselves with work.”
“Iya, deh..George,” says Rangga. “About-about-has no work.”
“So..welcome to Gilligan Island,” Dicky said with a jumawa.
“To celebrate that, how about we swim? I want to see if you can still beat me,” challenge Princess.
“Who is afraid?” sahut Dicky and Rangga together.
”But you wear a bikini right?” ask Dicky.
”Iya dong...what would swimming wear? Kebaya?”
”Nggak..so she wants to see you are still sexy as before,” Goda Rangga.
”Sial..elu both are land crocodiles..” The princess hit the backs of her two best friends.
Dicky and Rangga just laughed. When they return to the front, they find Desman and Shanti had already swam in the sea ahead of the others.
