Elective School

Aruni is a 17-year-old girl who sits in the third grade of High School. A child who is always cheerful and obedient to parents. Today it is time for Aruni to decide where he wants to continue his studies.

Only a few months ago Aruni apparently liked his close friend named Rashid, dear Rashid who used to be Junior High friends with Aruni was already fond of other girls, until finally Rashid decided to continue his studies in Bandung.

Hearing the news of Rashid about to go to college in Bandung, Aruni was a little sad because during this time Rashid was a friend who often joked with Aruni even when they met they were sometimes just silent or even quarreling.

Aruni was expected by his parents to continue his studies as a teacher but Aruni refused, one day Aruni's parents said to Aruni

"Aruni why don't you like being a teacher, son?"

Aruni replied "I want a high school ma'am". Hearing Aruni's reply, his mother said

"Well Aruni make your choice, mother and father will support you"

Aruni was suddenly confused about going to continue college where, Aruni so admired his older sister who worked in the world of health, so Aruni decided to continue college as a midwife, so he decided to continue his studies as a midwife, in addition, he wants to be alone in the dormitory because he knows later in midwifery school is required for dormitory.

The last day Aruni and Rashid met, they did not say a word. Aruni also enrolled as a student at a Yogyakarta college majoring in midwifery. And accepted. From then on Aruni stayed in the dormitory, Aruni and all students were not allowed to go home. They were only allowed to go home after two months of dormitory.

In the dormitory Aruni lived one room with three new friends namely Monis, Tati, and Dewi. The gentle child goddess Solo, the beautiful son Monis Wonogiri, and the slightly tomboyish Tegal child Tati.

The goddess introduced her name first,

Then, Tati and Monis introduced themselves. Day after day passed by Aruni and his friends began to get familiar. The distance of the campus and dormitory are quite far they must travel by foot together.

A beautiful morning view when all the children of the dormitory must go to college in a blue sea uniform combination of white. A busy college schedule. The full dorm activity makes Aruni and his friends get bored.

Monis who had studied in the department of informatics suddenly invited Aruni to maen in an internet shop or cafe.

"Aruni let's go to the cafe" Monis said.

Aruni nodded in agreement. In the cafe, Monis taught Aruni how to make electronic mail and chat. They are close friends.

Aruni slowly began to forget Rashid. But never again do they joke like they used to. Several times Aruni tried to contact Rashid but it seems Rasyid has been busy with his lectures in Bandung.

Aruni went through this midwifery college with joy. Looks like he's starting to find a good new friend.

"The platters" were heard the sound of the hostess breaking the silence, reminding the children not to put the dishes in the room.

The voice of the Adhan Magrib was heard and all the children of the dormitory should have gathered in the mosque. After praying, a stack of college assignments are waiting. That's Aruni's activities every day during the Dormitory
