"Athar, come here son!" Invite Aunt Marwah who just emerged from the kitchen carrying kettles and trays containing empty glasses.
"Yes Bi!"
Hearing the conversation Malik was provoked to turn his head and only realized if the man was the one who made it difficult to walk at this time.
"AstaughfiruLahaladzim, Dad. So Bang Athar who married Mbak Zena was him?" Malik was a little surprised.
"Well, you know Lik? Have you not understood it since the wedding ceremony this afternoon?" Uncle Ardy chimed in but seemed ordinary to respond to Malik.
"E... Is that Dad?"
Malik wanted to tell the story the other day but the young man refrained from being empowered if it would affect the fate of his cousin Zena who had officially become Athar's wife. He also will not be vengeful to Athar because he is very kind and patient.
"There's nothing, Dad, just seen it" he said, eventually ignoring it.
Alzena who knew what Malik meant was actually just choosing silence. He himself was confused as to why his position had become so difficult. Though she never expected her husband to be Athar but perhaps her fate line had already determined it to happen.
They also choose silence and busy eating their own food until finally all is finished because Rosulullah SAW teaches his people not to talk much while enjoying the dish in plain sight.
After Uncle and Aunt left, Zena immediately cleaned up the leftovers back in the kitchen and it was Malik's chance to talk to Athar who was also just about to get out of his seat.
"Wait for the Bang, Malik has to talk!" Prevent Malik immediately.
"Sir Zena, please don't ever hurt him because I won't let that happen" Malik bravely said. It was hard for him to fear a human like Athar who dared to only persecute others.
Athar also grinned shortsightedly, of course He would not easily grant Malik's wishes because he hated being told by others except Abah Dullah.
Long pitted against each other, Athar chose to leave without giving any answer to Malik who hoped Zena would not suffer marriage to Athar later.
"O Allah, protect Zena, O Allah. Hopefully Bang Athar can change and not hurt Zena's feelings for the sadistic act!" malik said alone.
Shortly after that Zena appeared again and patted Malik on the shoulder. He wants Malik to know that he will be fine so Malik must be calm and not have to worry about his condition.
"Mbak Zena sure?" Malik remains doubtful. How could an unsettling delinquent like Athar be nice to a meek wife like Zena.
Zena smiled and nodded her head, "Yes Lik, you don't need to worry huh. Bang Athar is good. It's just that the scope of the association is a little misguided."
"Hopefully Ma'am, Malik is afraid that he will get sick with Zena later?"
"Ready, yeah, rest there. Need to help me?" Tawar Zena was then about to embrace Malik but the young man rejected him.
"Don't let Malik get used to it too!"
The young man went into the room, while Zena could not bear to see Malik's legs had not yet recovered from his injury. If Athar were not that cruel, Malik would not have to experience the pain of his actions.
