At about seven in the morning, the sound of door slamming at residence Number 14, Tulip Heritage housing was heard to the outside door. The house was not spacious, only one kaveling in a dead end.

The pounding sound is getting louder, “Sister, brother, let's get up quickly! I haven't even made breakfast yet! Hmph!”

Twitch in the head Virga more crazy, ‘Ah, pain once’ thought he. Virga began to open his eyes, his head throbbing violently. He crawled down from his bed and opened the door of his room. “What?” She was annoyed at her sister, Sonia.

Sonia is his half-sister, mother Sonia and father Virga is a widow and widower with one child who eventually remarries. Unfortunately, from their new marriage, Sonia's mother and Virga's father are not blessed with children.

“What is sister sick? Or is the brother just lazy? It's our first day of school.” Sonia ruffled her waist spoiled, her long hair she braided two on the right and left.

“I'm sick. Allow me to Miss Mus.” Bu Mus is the guardian of the Virga class, class XI IPA-A.

Virga was about to close the door of her room before Sonia held back the door of her room. “Wait! Brother hasn't given me any money to eat!” Sonia Jars.

“I've already given you pocket money this month!” Omel Virga, ‘Ah, it feels like my head is about to explode. It hurts so.’

“Jajan money yes snacks! Money to eat different again!” Reply Sonia fierce.

“If you know, if I get your meal money from my pocket money!!” and ‘Brak’ Virga closes his room door.

Sonia's voice grumbled. The sound of the house door closed slowly, then the sound of Sonia's ontel began to drift away faintly.

‘Hahhh..’ Virga crawled back to his bed. Unable to climb, he placed his head on the bed while his feet were still on the floor of the room.

He felt his forehead, it was hot. He should have put a headache drug on Sonia.

Virga closed his eyes, slowly his tears dripping down. ‘Ah, whenever he was sick, he always shed tears.'

'Not him crying, he only shed tears because of pain alone.’ That's what Virga always says to people who see him cry when he's sick.

It had been four months since her father stopped sending her monthly money.

Until finally two days ago his father, Samuel Robert, invited to meet at one of the famous pizza franchise restaurants. No one thought, it turns out that at the meeting, Sonia's mother, Amy Yanti and Sonia were also present.

In the middle of the restaurant crowd, the table was silent.

When a waiter serves pizza sprinkled with sausages and a Large Splitza-sized roast cow, Sonia begins to eat. He seemed indifferent to the situation at his family table.

A male waitress came again, she put Winter Punch in front of her, she was astonished, no matter who ordered, but all the drinks ordered were their own favorites.

Sonia as usual, the drink tasted avocado, Mama Amy tasted orange, and father Samuel's drink tasted milk coffee.

After the servant left, Samuel's father opened his voice. Slow and heavy. “We decided to split.”

Virga pulled his hand from the table. His hands were shaking and feeling cold. He clenched his hands under the table.

“Huh,” Mama Amy grunts. “Don't blame me, Virga. Your father was just a brash one. She's having an affair.” Mom Amy fiercely looked at Father Samuel.

“You think I don't know what you're doing on every service trip with your boss?” Reply to Samuel's Father.

Samuel's father was an assistant contractor at a construction company. His body is thin and tall. His hair was black and combed to the left. Her skin is yellow.

Last November, she turned 46. Even so, between the wrinkles around his eyes and lips, his face still looked handsome. His white shirt and black work pants gave an impression that could not be underestimated. Her sharp and pointed nose intimidated, her deep eyes staring intently at Mama Amy.

Mama Amy is a city-level finance state employee. His white skin reflected the bright lights of the restaurant. She wears a tight-knuckle dark blue dress with an ivory white blazer on it. Her body is a little filled, her beautiful face is polished make up with bright red lipstick that makes her more charming.

Virga's mother, Winnie Tetsuo, is a Japanese-Russian. She died giving birth to Virga. Virga is then cared for by his father's grandmother. And after her father met Mama Amy, they began to build a household together.

Although born in the same year, Virga is 3 months older than Sonia. They always go to the same school as Sonia, and Virga treats her as her little sister.

It could be said, up to two years ago, their family was a happy family. Samuel's father and Mama Amy start to fight, starting from small things like who delivers children's school, who spends time with the kids every weekend, and who, eventually they both left the house. No longer living in the same house.

It seemed, the fight between his parents had died down, they both looked towards Virga who had been silent since then.

The bottle-shaped glass in front of him continued to condense untouched.

“You're okay, right?” Asked Samuel's father, he grabbed Virga into his arms and kissed his head.

“Yeah.. I'm fine” replied Virga expressionless and pushed her father away.

The big pizza at the table was almost half eaten by Sonia. Samuel's father and Mama Amy let out a long sigh and sipped their drinks together.

“Then, how about us?” Virga asked while pointing at him and Sonia.

“I'll be with mama.” Answer Sonia. He's looking a long time with Virga.

After all, they had spent a short time together.

Sonia turned her face away. “But maybe I will stay in this city until next semester. School has just started, it is impossible to change schools now.”

Sonia and Virga go to the same high school. Although initially Virga could have entered High School number 1 in the city, but he prefers to enter the third high school in this city for the sake of being able to one school with Sonia.

“Then, how about me?” Ask Virga lirih.

For some reason, he felt calm. More precisely, he felt nothing. Even his head was empty. Not thinking of anything.

Samuel's father let out a long breath. “The house is yours. Dad bought it on your behalf”.

Virga, “Dad will still send me monthly money right?”

Father Samuel, “Of course.”

Virga, “Then, why didn't Dad send me money 4 months ago?”

Samuel's father did not answer.

“Your father is busy with his new family.” Answer Mama Amy.

Father Samuel, “We've officially divorced April of last year.”

Virga's hand twirling the straw fell weakly onto the table.

He looked towards Sonia who was still indifferent to playing her phone. “Do you know?” Ask Virga to Sonia. He subconsciously squeezed Sonia's hand firmly.

Sonia took off Virga's hand gently. He looked at Virga's face deeply before replying, “Ya, I know.”
