Chapter Seventy Eight

Not far from Li Xuyi's stop, there was someone sitting in front of the campfire. He was wearing a thick coat, also wearing a hat. The weather on the mountain is very cold and humid.

Li Xuyi opened her eyes and looked around. He was breathing smoke not far from him. He immediately got up and approached her.

"What are you doing here?" Li Xuyi asked as her one hand patted the man. The stranger looked up. Then smile thinly.

"I'm making a bonfire. In mountains like this it is very cold. I lost track of my friend who was on the expedition. Maybe with a smoke signal they'll find me soon." Said the man.

"Thank you." Li Xuyi replied receiving the bread and devouring it. In the darkness of the night they both sat cross-legged in front of the bonfire. Time is getting late and quiet. The man still remained focused in front of the campfire while Li Xuyi was already feeling sleepy.

"It looks like you're so exhausted. You sleep. Let me keep watch, if anything happens, I'll wake you up." said the man.

"You're really nice to me. We don't know each other. One day if I meet again, I will repay your kindness." Li Xuyi said moved.

"Hem keep it for you later." said the man with a faint smile. Li Xuyi arranged dry straw to make a mattress. While the man smiled and let Li Xuyi fall asleep.

Otherside. Elsa had deployed her subordinates to search for Li Xuyi. Tonight we have to find him and kill him. This way the root of the problem will disappear.

The group immediately entered the forest, they could be said to number ten people. Jo who was still awake in front of the campfire glanced towards the sound of leaves rubbing against her.

"What's wrong?" Ask Jo.

"Maybe it's Miss Linda's subordinate to my superior. They might be looking for me." Said Li Xuyi.

Jo looked around, it seemed like the person's movements were already far away. "Don't make it. If he's really your boss why use a dog to track. It's like they're not." Said Jo. "Now we don't have time. We better find a place to hide from them."
