Being a Night Butterfly

Melinda left Fatih without saying a word. It had been enough all along that his patience was tested by the man. While Fatih was just silently glued to his wife's back which slowly vanished from sight. The anger in the man's chest was mounting especially when he remembered how Melinda dared to fight him. 

"Look after I win this bet, I'll throw you a cheap lady. I don't need you anymore." Fatih spoke firmly. Then hurried to leave his house. 

Unbeknownst to Fatih, Melinda secretly comes to Theo's house. Her arrival was so warmly welcomed by the man, it was very different when she was with her husband. 

"You ready for tonight?" theo asked with a sweet smile. 

Melinda nodded quickly. "of course. I have been patient all this time. My heart was no longer able to feel the pain. Even though I don't know what my way of life will be like, I can definitely take back all this pain." 

Theo clapped his hands to Melinda's surprise. Then he looked at the man in wonder. "I like women like this. You're supposed to be strong, don't be a weak woman, miss." 

"All thanks to you who have been kind and willing to help me." Melinda felt really grateful to be reunited with Theo. 

"alright. After this you stay home and I'll call a MUA to make you more beautiful" Theo said. 

"Thank you very much. But ...." 

"But what?" theo sela. Staring at Melinda full of inquiring. 

"But what about my son? After Mas Fatih found out, I wasn't sure my son would be okay." Melinda hesitates. Especially now that he left Atha at home. 

"For that you calm down. Your son will be with us and I will protect him with all my heart. I'll take it as my own son." Theo spoke firmly. That made Melinda so excited. Without feeling his eyes glazed over. I don't fully believe there's a man as good as Theo in this world. 

"Thank you very much. I no longer know how to repay all your kindness." Melinda rubbed the corner of her eyes that were getting wet. Theo smiled and asked Melinda to clean up.

Fatih came early tonight. He brought his mother's home certificate. His smile since earlier looked as bright as even his style was so haughty. He did not care even though there were still people looking at him cynically. He will prove to all those who have insulted him. 

"Are you sure you're gonna win tonight?" ask the guy who usually wins the game. He still does not believe that Fatih can beat Theo in a row. Although he does not know who Theo really is, but he feels confident that Theo is not an arbitrary person. 

"of course. Don't you know I beat that guy." Fatih patted the chest. Boasting to himself made the man feel fed up. 

"I don't believe you" he said with a faint smile that made Fatih growled. 

"Yes already. Then, just look at it later. If I win, I'll give you five million." Fatih smiled cunningly, as well as the man who immediately clapped. It was also greeted with cheers in the room.

Unbeknownst to them, Theo's car is parked in front of the place. Theo's smile seemed to expand when he imagined how Fatih's face would look. Unlike Melinda who looks so nervous. 

"You sure everything's going to go well?" ask Melinda doubtfully. Theo rubbed Melinda's shoulder to make the woman squeamish. 

"Ah, sorry. I've surprised you. You take it easy, everything will go smoothly and it's time for you to take revenge" Theo said. Melinda could only shut up without saying a word. "You stay in the car first. Don't come in if I haven't given the order." 

"Well, you've come." Fatih warmly welcomed Theo's arrival. However, it did not get anything in return because Theo was indifferent. In fact, Theo was gallantly sitting right in front of Fatih. His attitude was very different from before. 

So arrogant of this guy. Just look, after this I'll get him to bend his knees in front of me. 

"Hows it? Did you bring the bet?" ask Theo without further ado. 

"You put out your bet first, then I'll take mine out." Fatih. Don't want Theo to lie to him. 

With his money, Theo asked his men to take out his car papers and put them on the table. After feeling confident, Fatih also put the certificate of the house that was brought right in front of him. Without buying any more time, the game was about to begin. 

Atmosphere heating. No one opens their voice there. All eyes were on the two people with anxious expectations.  There are those who support Theo, but who underestimate the man because he always loses to Fatih. Melinda, too, continues to feel restless. Keep praying that Theo can win the bet this time. 

"It looks like you should be prepared to lose your car." Fatih smiled obliquely. He felt sure he would win.

Theo was undaunted and remained relaxed. "It's okay. Let's prove who won this time." 

The mood was silent again. Fatih started pounding unruffled. Until finally his face paled when Theo shouted, "you lost!" 

For whatever sake, Fatih instantly sculpted. Still can't believe this. He lost to Theo, the man he had been defeated by since yesterday. 

"It's impossible!" Fatih yelling. He got up and took his home certificate. Didn't want the item to fall into Theo's hands.

"Catch her!" theo's orders. 

Theo's men immediately banned Fatih and took the house certificate from the man's hands. It did not matter even though Fatih had thrashed out with all his might. 

"It's mine! Restore it!" fatih. His eyes reddened between anger and fear mixed into one. 

"will not. This certificate is mine." Theo smiled with satisfaction. "You take it easy, I have one surprise for you." 

Fatih began to shut up and saw Theo full of probes. His heart felt anxious and had a bad feeling that Theo was not a man he could match. 

"What surprise? I didn't think you were so cunning. Hmh!" Fatih gritted and furious. 

"Before I give you a surprise. My name is Theo David Arnanda." Theo reached out a hand, whereas Fatih simply stared without any intention of retaliating. 

It seems like the name is not foreign, but where I know the name of this man, I was really stupid for not being able to remember it. 

"Ah, okay. It seems you don't want to meet me. Then I'll just announce here that the certificate of this house will be my name back to Melinda." 

Fatih's eyeballs are fully rounded. He was even more surprised when Melinda walked casually into the room to distract everyone who was there.
