Being a Dad to My Niece

Being a Dad to My Niece
Chapter 36. Arga's Regret

Chapter 36

Arga walked with wide strides and his mouth hummed softly. He can't wait to see his wife and son. He bought Soto Betawi while on his way to the hospital.

With a smile on her face, Arga opened the door of Marsha's ward all along. He found no one in the room. With a hasty step he opened the bathroom door. However, there was no one there.

Arga ran to the friend area of the hospital. Who knows, his wife and son are playing there. However, again the figure of the two of them he could not find.

"God, where are my wife and children?"

Arga ran here and there looking for the two men. His eyes kept on him circling around looking for Marsha and Alva. He decided to ask the nurses who were on guard.

"Sorry, Sus. I want to ask you, where is the patient in Jasmine 501's nursery?" arga asked two women in nurse uniforms.

One of them opened a list of patients through a computer. He seemed to click a few times.

"Patient on behalf of Mrs Marshanda, sir?" ask the nurse kindly.

"Yes, right," answered Arga.

"Mrs Marshanda has been home since three hours ago" the nurse said.

It felt like a rock weighing many tons, now felt by Arga. He could not believe that his wife had gone home and did not tell him anything like that. Before going to the office, the man came to him.

Arga's steps were heavy. He slowly walked towards the parking lot. The man hopes that Marsha and Alva are together in the apartment.

"Hopefully he doesn't go back to the village" Arga muttered as he got into the car.

Arga drove his car fast to get to the apartment. He only smiled briefly at the people who were passing by him.

Taking the elevator felt long. Arga felt impatient to enter the room. The man wanted to make sure that Marsha would still be by his side.

"Assalamualaik."

"Masha ... Alva!"

Arga checked the bedrooms one by one in his apartment. However, there is no word from anyone else. His chest rumbled and his head suddenly dizzy.

"Marsha! Alva!" Again Arga still calls the names of loved ones.

There was silence in the apartment. There were no wives or children there. He also cursed his stupidity because it is always slow to take care of Marsha.

Arga is not a quitter or a pessimist. He is an optimist and has high self-confidence and it is never easy to give up.

The three-headed man immediately contacted his parents. He knows that Marsha is not holding a cell phone for now. This is because his flat objects were always carried by his father-in-law.

"Assalamualaikum, Mum. Did you know that Marsha came home from the hospital today?" asked Arga directly to the point where he contacted his mother.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Yes, Marsha's home today. Now also the mother is preparing for the thanksgiving event because Marsha has recovered from her coma" Ayu replied from across the street.

Arga grabbed her own hair. He's angry at himself. He was waiting for Marsha in the hospital. But important things like this don't know.

'Why didn't they tell me? Did they do this to me on purpose?' inner Arga.

When checking Marsha's health to the laboratory, the man always participated. They always say something good about their health and never mention when they can go home.

"When will the Thanksgiving begin?" ask the man who now has a beautiful face to the man across the street.

"About two hours, I guess," Ayu replied.

Arga's eyes widened, because the distance of the capital to the hometown was about three hours. How else now he is, because there is no time.

"Mom, could not the ceremony was held after the magrib alone," said Arga pleading.

"Where can that be! Everyone in the village has their own activities. If after the magrib they prefer to spend time in the mosque. Some of the invitation was spread earlier and the time after Ashar," said Ayu refused the request of the child.

"Yes, who knows. Because I also want to join the show," Arga replied with a small laugh.

After contacting his mother, Arga decided to go to his hometown. If the trip is smooth and speeding may still be hunted.

Man can only plan, but God determines. Desire to be able to quickly get to the village, Arga even stuck in traffic when only a quarter of the way. He could not drive because of the total traffic jam. Meanwhile, the car is in the middle. It will not be able to reverse direction.

"Why is this critical time an accident occurs?" muttered Arga while tapping her network.

"O Allah, may I come in time" Arga's ceremony shrewdly.

It turned out to be an accident a truck carrying a lot of cargo. The vehicle was carrying hundreds of crates of fruit wood. When going to turn even turn and finally rolled into the middle of the road. All contents spilled to cause total congestion because it is at the crossroads of the road.
