Feel the Warmth

Noah took a long step while holding a woman in his arms into his private mansion. The servants in the mansion lined up at the front door—it had become commonplace to welcome the owner of the house. They bow their heads as a sign of respect. No one intends to speak up before being ordered.

However, they certainly saw the master doing things they never imagined. All this time. Physical contact was like that and brought him into the mansion. In fact, they were surprised when the master took the woman to his private room. A place that even the waiter could not visit. Perhaps more precisely, the place was only cleaned by Sebastian alone.

Noah was silent for a moment after pulling the blanket to cover Kaylee's entire body to the chest. His cold gaze remained there until Sebastian's presence diverted him.

“How? You've been running my orders?” Noah asked without further ado.

Sebastian nodded. “I've cleared it, not leaving a single trace. As you requested,” he said. Although he was still curious because Noah was so considerate and protected the figure of the woman who was now lying unconscious.

The problem of the two of them who suddenly came to help, it was because they accidentally saw the existence of Kaylee who was glimpsed mischievously by the brand. Initially, Noah just told to stop by the roadside— stared at every movement that existed so that the incident happened. “Call Doctor Richard, Sebastian!” The order Noah issued made Sebastian's daydreams crumble.

Noah nodded. “Wait for doctor Richard outside and take him to my room if he has arrived.” Then Noah went straight into the walk-in closet to change clothes. Black t-shirts with matching casual pants are now attached to his athletic body.

Noah thinks Kaylee will wake up, but turns out to be asleep. Is that woman alive? Noah curious. Slowly move closer. He let his palm towards Kaylee's nose and he felt the woman's breath.

“Means he's alive,” he said thankfully. Right at the same time, the figure of Sebastian with a man in a white coat—complete with his tool opened Noah's room door just like that.

Noah's surprised. Wanted to be angry with Sebastian, but stopped him from doing so. This time, he apologized.

“Master, Doctor Richard has arrived.”

“Stop saying nonsense things! Check him!” noah said coldly.

Richard had to comply. He took out a stethoscope from his briefcase, about to remove the blanket but Noah stopped his movement. “Check it! Don't touch anything!”

Hearing that, Richard displayed a sewot expression on his face. “Where can that be? Anyway, it's the procedure. I'm not gonna do anything weird. I've done the oath!” Long time, Richard just emotion. Sebastian was just grimacing at the debate. For Sebastian, Richard is a man who can and dares to chimed in Noah's words.

Basically, they are cousins. Richard is the only son of Arthur Garfield's youngest son.

Only, when his head was made to think, he immediately heard the ringing sound. Kaylee's awake. Hurriedly, he approached—sitting beside him.

“You okay?” The spontaneous question came out. All so suddenly. Noah can't control himself.

Kaylee who is now trying to sit down, looked at Noah with a strange— as well as the surrounding so foreign—luxury. This isn't his room. Kaylee didn't answer Noah's question. Noah doesn't know what to do to calm down. His harsh environment, made his heart also come hard. Things like this look weird. Noah must first calm down if someone is crying. Last time, when his mother was crying and little Kaylee was.

A slow breath escaped just like that. A little doubt arose when the treatment to calm a person who was crying stuck—when with little Kaylee. Slowly, Noah rubbed Kaylee's trembling shoulders. “Pacify yourself.”

Kaylee who felt that, was stung by the warmth. He immediately recalled when Noah at that time calmed down after being bullied by naughty children. It might look cheap when Kaylee directly leaned her head on the chest of Noah— field - a feeling that surprised Noah but he did not make dizzy.

“You're safe, Kaylee. No one will hurt you again.” Back Noah let out words that calmed Kaylee's heart.

Kaylee remembered about the deal. Would if he accepted the deal, Noah would protect and guarantee his safety?

I don't know, Kaylee felt like she was going to consider the deal. It's not about getting revenge. It's about Kaylee who's regained the warmth she's lost all along. He only finds her with Noah. It might feel really fast.

Kaylee woke up feeling more refreshed and comfortable. Even though he did nothing. He only remembers a moment Noah tried to calm him down and yes. A red tinge immediately stuck out on his tapered cheek.  “A-did I spend the night sleeping in her arms?” If true, Kaylee didn't know what to act like after this.

“Yes, you fell asleep very fast in my arms. That smile. Even when I compress your cheeks, you're not bothered at all.” Noah said after coming out of the walk-in closet with his neat clothes ready to go to the office.  Wait, what time is it?

Kaylee got up from her seat. Although it felt a pain that made Noah was installing a watch frowned. “Where are you going?”

Kaylee. “I—aku, thank you in advance for all the help, Sir. But I have to come back soon. Not long ago, I had to work—“

“No need. I told Oliv that you have important business with me,”, said Noah who cut Kaylee's words that surprised Kaylee.

“But, Mr...”

Noah shook his head with a cold look. “You go clean yourself up. In the paperbag there are clothes that do not fit your body. Then we'll talk again about the deal yesterday.”

Kaylee was surprised. The deal, Kaylee hasn't thought of anything. He was confused to say what would happen. Noah who saw Kaylee was still speechless, thought a little, Is Kaylee still in pain?
