Chapter 8. Getting News About Mother

The student looked and smiled sweetly at me. However, I didn't pay any attention to it at all. Although I saw, his face was so handsome, with a high posture, as well as his brownish skin.

I noticed, my female friends were so amazed to see her, including Dhea.

"Kids, it just so happens that today we have a new student in this class. And now, let's get him to introduce himself first, yeah." Said Mr. Roni.

Knowing if the student is a new student, the classroom atmosphere became a little chaotic, because some students were so enthusiastic about coming.

The student then mentioned her name, which I heard her name was Reyhan. He moved from one of the schools in Bandung.

Because for the sake of his father's job, which requires them to move to Jakarta. Inevitably, Reyhan also finally had to come with his parents to settle here in a time that he himself could not confirm.

Mr. Roni finally allowed Reyhan to choose an empty bench, which he would occupy. Again, I saw his gaze fixed on the empty bench that was right behind me.

"The handsome one, Ra. Seriously, that smile is, Ra. Don't know!" chirp Dhea, make me shudder a little.

Meanwhile, Mr. Roni also began his teaching, by giving a little material and ended by giving some tasks.

After giving the task, Mr. Roni was seen saying goodbye to return to his room. The lesson hours are not over.

Knowing if Mr. Roni has come out of the classroom, the atmosphere of the class then changed, from before it felt calm, now it becomes very noisy.

Not to mention, some students were seen going in and out of the classroom. Some are also many who paced around looking for cheat answers of the tasks given by Mr. Roni.

For some reason, right now it seems my mind is always on mom. In fact, Dhea always tried to invite me to chat.

But, I feel reluctant to respond to the chat. I prefer to be quiet, until someone's surprise makes me feel a little angry.

"Eh! What name is that? Feelings, I noticed just lo doang from earlier diem aja. Don't you wonder, you're the same me?" chirps, makes me shudder again.

"Well! Enchanted? What is your face like? I am so disgusted by it!" my timpal, a little irritated.

"Yes! You think you're pretty too? You have to be so doubtful, being a girl! Just cupu, belagu lo!" again, it makes me even more upset. I really want to pull his collar. However, Dhea pulled my hand, as if she was holding me back from doing so.

"Ish, that's it, Ra! What the hell is lo? People like that don't have to be in ladenin si, justinin! I think people moved because of his behavior, not because of his parents who moved to work." said Dhea, who I also agree with his response to Reyhan, the guy who messes up.

Until the break came, I heard the sound of Bu Ani calling me through the speakers in the corner of the classroom. A little reminds me, when he told me about my father's departure some time ago.

My mind became erratic, which at that time was only focused on my mother.

"What's wrong with mom? Are you not well at home? Yeah, God!" I complained, getting worried about my mother's condition.

I also tried to meet Bu Ani, who again he was in his room. I knocked on the door of the room, and I heard him tell me to come in.

"Excuse me, ma. What's up, call me?" my question, curious.

"Nadhira, sit down, son!" sahut Bu Ani, who told me to sit down.

"Look, Nadhira. Previously, the mother and other teachers were concerned about your current condition." Said Bu Ani, who made me feel confused, and more curious.

"Yes, mom. But, sorry, ma'am. Actually, what's up, mom? Why am I being called here?" ask again.

"Look, Ra. Previously, the mother represented the school, as well as all teachers who are concerned about your current situation and condition. What's more, we just found out that your mother's condition isn't okay" replied Ms. Ani, which made me worry about her even more.

"Yes, thank you very much, ma'am. But, sorry before, ma'am. I mean, what is it? Say, if my mother's condition is not okay? What do you mean, mom? Did something happen to my mother?" ask me again, who somehow my feelings are getting worse.

I saw the face of Bu Ani who seemed to start hesitating to answer my question, her head slightly bowed, and to her two eyes that looked occasionally closed.

"Hopefully nothing happened to mom." Hopefully, the more anxious I think about his condition.

"Mother, just got word, if your mother goes to the hospital, Ra. I hope you can be patient to hear this news." said Bu Ani, who suddenly made me cry.

Everything I've been worried about Mom, it's really happening. I immediately say goodbye to Bu Ani, to go home and visit my mother at the hospital.

However, suddenly Bu Ani hugged me, as her tears flowed quite profusely.

"You're patient, Ra! I know, it's all very hard for you to deal with. But, I am sure if you are able to face and live this all. Don't ever hesitate to tell the same story mom, Ra. Whenever you need it, you'll always be there for you. Although there's not much you can do for me, and your mother, Ra." The words of Ms. Ani, which made me even more sad. I never thought that Bu Ani would be this good to me.

I just smiled, and kept trying to hold back the tears. I went back to say goodbye, and went to see my mother at the hospital.
