Since they would face quite a dangerous enemy, then they trained for one week to prepare. There is no other activity one day except to practice facing enemy attacks. With enough troops they were then ready to depart.

[Outside the Palace Gate]

"Look at that fellow, he might have already lost his mind by volunteering to fight! I don't know what he's thinking? (pointing a girl to Ran)

"I really don't believe it, the Prince has just been sworn in as the commander in chief and he intends to attack an enemy that is even stronger than they imagined!

The distance is quite far to travel even though using horses, requires them to stay on the journey for approximately 2 days 2 nights.

[On Day One]

Evening arrived, all the tents were installed and the campfire then became their lighting tools that night.
