Arin took an angkot through a road to campus, the child who was still in school uniform was about to enroll as a student of the Department of Automotive Engineering. Arin's childhood was like a child in general, learning and
playing to fill time. However, there is one habit that is unique.
At the age of 9 years the father took him to the workshop, making Arin become familiar with the automotive world, really already a part of him, until the unloading of the bike was more fun
than playing with dolls. Start him making friends with the employees of the father, those with age and experience far above him, he often stopped by the workshop after school.
On the last day of the freshman admission, he was so agitated. Occasionally he saw a clock tied to his wrist, while cursing himself for not obeying the father's order to immediately take a shower and leave, rather than completing the work of fixing the customer's motorcycle.
During the day, this area is usually crowded with many vehicles, ranging from motorcycles to cars that pass by. The width of the road is not how much aggravated by the use of part of the road body for parking
vehicles, to enter the store, to the point that congestion is almost inevitable. The more panic Arin, when the angkot that was boarded has not moved, not only him but also the driver of the car behind the angkot who had been pressing the horn made noise.
The driver tried to turn the steering wheel to the right although it was somewhat impossible, and indeed could not. A large tall man came out of the SUV parked in front, he came to the transport car while cursing. He was angry that his car was almost run over. Just looking at the man who was now hitting the front of the car body, Arin then turned his gaze forward, there was a long queue and the angkot he was riding was completely immobile. His brain thinks between waiting or going down and walking. Actually the distance is not
too far away, it only took ten minutes, yet he was so tired after previously having time to chase the angkot.
“I get off here,” said Arin and angkot driver was allowed after earning money. He jumped up and started his pace quickly. No more walking, what looks like running.
His steps slowed when he was found a car that stopped by the roadside, a man seemed to wipe the sweat that poked on his forehead violently.
“Mobilnya mogog ya Mas?” This man turned his head to the source of the voice, seeming he was annoyed by Arin's question. His eyes stared intently at the woman beside him as if to say, “Don't see what? Already know mogog still ask, you little boy, just disturb.” The weather in the afternoon is indeed hot, so anyone can easily be upset especially if you have to be in a situation that makes the heart hot.
“May I see,” offer yourself with doubt, having not also got an answer.
His face was serious, he was not joking. Bayu also allows Arin to tinker with his car engine. There is no harm also thought Bayu, after all it has been half an hour that he only looks at it, no one wants to help even though the traffic condition is quite crowded.
“Try distater,”
Bayu said, he got in the car. A smile rose on his face, having been relieved of an annoying situation. Bayu then grabbed dompert in the back pocket of his pants.
“Wah you are also a champion yes..” said Bayu with a friendly smile, very different from him a few minutes ago, just silent and reluctant to respond, even his gaze as if telling Arin to shut up and leave.
“Wah you also know that.”
Arin shook his head quickly, his body reflexes retreated one step back as Bayu thrust out a sum of money. Bayu smiled, put the money back into the wallet, instead he handed a business card.
“But I'm not used to debt, let alone debt. I force you to come if you need anything,” he continued. Arin grabbed the rectangular-shaped object and read it fixedly.Advancing the job would be much useful, not only for Arin but for him as well, Bayu thought.
“Show cool don't you think? But actually I suck in the automotive field.” This man is the owner of the Meka workshop, just about to open in a week. Blind about automotive but good at finding business opportunities, that's how Bayu introduced
themselves with pride.
“If people like you were in Meka, I would definitely feel very lucky. If you have not got a job do not forget to come to me, I will gladly accept you.” His statement sounded like Arin was a valuable asset. “I believe, our meeting is a good destiny.” More precisely they were met by a less pleasant fate.
There is always something interesting to be grateful for. Only fifteen minutes drive after leaving the workshop, the car that drove Bayu suddenly broke down even though when he was in the workshop, the car was okay.
While Arin, as is known he was stuck in traffic while in a hurry. Be that bitter fate of being sweet after the two met.
With death, Arin finally arrived at the campus he was headed. While waiting to be called, he recalled the series of events he had experienced today. He then put his hand in his pocket, wanted to take a business card and look at it long enough. Sweet speech like a product marketing is not owned to make Arin interested, although at his age now the task is just learning, and not to worry about the cost. Both of his parents would not mind paying for his life while continuing to study at a private university. His father works in his own workshop, has employees, obviously he is capable, let alone Arin
is an only child. As he often heard, “We work also for whom.”
However, having a job that makes money is very tempting.
“Mandiri financially.” Arin chuckled to himself, the person sitting next to him probably already thought he was crazy.
“The right decision,” said Bayu while thrusting his hand, inviting the girl he met for the second time. Arin happily shook his hand, and smiled. Yes, this is where Arin is, in front of a two-story building with a board that says ‘Meka’. Arin has made up his mind, though,
the decision not to let go of the opportunity to work in a Meka workshop, he wanted to become a pro mechanic and be financially independent.
“It's not hard to get here is it?” Finally he understood with what his boss had said, about the ease of finding Meka's workshop. Among the many buildings lined up in the business district, the,
there was only one workshop and it was a workshop owned by Bayu, the person he called by the name of Bayu mas. His workshop was spacious, wider than his father's.
