"Can you take me to my parents' house?" melani asked without daring to look at Zaid.

"Where do your parents live?" ask Zaid who stays focused on driving.

"Hell lives in city x, I don't have any money if you take it to the terminal."

"Why ask the motorcycle driver to take you to the terminal?"

Zaid smiled.

Zaid looked at Melani's face and clothes. Melani looks skinny from the last time they met.The clothes worn by Melani are tangled and do not match her body size.

"I was wearing that barbaric man's clothes" Melani said with tears in her eyes.

Zaid was concerned about Melani's condition, without asking and interrupting Melani Zaid's remarks continued their journey to drive Melani to the clothing store.

"Please choose clothes for you to wear" Zaid said without looking at Melani.

Melani tries on the dress and looking at herself in the glass, she looks skinny and less beautiful wearing the dress.

"Geez, I'm thin and pale. It's all because of Kevin, he makes me tired and ugly like this." Melani said in a soft voice.

"It is fitting that Zaid did not see me when he spoke. This is a good opportunity to approach him, especially the short one is not with Zaid. Why is my fate this bad?" melani said as she looked at herself in the glass.

Melani again chose clothes, this time she chose a shirt and jeans. Melani is more confident in wearing those clothes.

An hour waiting for Melani to shop, Zaid got out of the car and waited for Melani at the cashier.

After paying for the clothes Melani chooses, they return to the car, this time Zaid stops her car at the beauty salon.

"Zaid you're overreacting. Why take me to the salon?" ask Melani

"Don't you want to see your parents? you want them to see you like this? it's all up to you." said Zaid speaking without looking at Melani.

"Well, I'll go into the salon. Thank you." said Melani while getting out of the car and entering the salon.

Zaid was waiting for Melani in the car for almost two hours when she spent in the salon. Melani came out of the salon with a fresher appearance and looks beautiful.

Melani knocks on Zaid's car glass, waking up the sleeping Zaid. Zaid woke up and opened the car glass.

"You done yet?" ask Zaid

"Yes,." Melani replied, Melani felt Zaid was still the way he used to be, kind and considerate.

"Come in." said Zaid as he opened his car door. Zaid got out of the car and went into the salon to pay for Melani's salon.

After paying the salon Zaid back in the car. this time Zaid brought Melani to the restaurant.

Melani is very happy with Zaid's care and kindness.This is Melani and Zaid's first dinner after all this time.

"Thank you Zaid, you're a good man. Zia is lucky to have you." said Melani before eating the dishes that have been served.

"Who's got you?" tanya Zaid switched the conversation.

"Kevin, he's the big wholesale owner on street x."

"Why do you know him?"

"After being fired from your company, I worked at his place."

"Oh, so you've been living in this town all this time?"

"Yes, a week ago I decided to quit my job, Kevin got angry and didn't let me stop. He grabbed me and made me like this."

"You want to sue him?"

Melani is silent, Melani does not want Zaid to know about her forbidden relationship with Kevin all this time.

"Can you take me home?" ask Melani

"Hello" said Zaid, who heard no more of Zia's voice.

Zaid turned off his phone and put his HP in his pocket.

"Did you?" zia said as she approached Zaid, Zaid was shocked by Zia's presence in front of him. Zia immediately hugged Zaid and Zaid returned Zia's embrace.

"Abang longs, tonight my brother's wife is very beautiful" said Zaid praising Zia.

Zia smiled.

"Let's go home, Aaron's bang and the others are waiting." Zia asked

"Alright, accompany the brother to the office first. brother has not taken a shower" replied Zaid.

Zia nodded.

"It's the car keys, you drive Melani home to her parents" Zaid said, handing Ali the keys.

"Where is he?" ask Ali.

"Behind you." replied Zaid.

Zia and Ali looked back, they barely recognized Melani. Melani looked at them with a forced smile.

"Melani, we go home first. Ali will take you home.You are carefully on the road." said Zaid as he looked at Ali.

"Okay boss." replied Ali.

Zaid immediately took Zia out of the restaurant.

"Why can you be with Melani?" zia asked as the two were in the car.

"So accidentally met, he's in trouble so brother please?" answer Zaid.

"Where did he meet?" ask Zia

"It's a long story, later after you go home from the party you tell me."

"Yes." Zia replied with a slightly disappointed expression as she was still curious.

On the way home Ali always invites Melani to chat to drive out boredom while on the road.

from the story that Melani told, Ali knew that Melani still liked Zaid.

Ali advised Melani, asking Melani to let go of the past and organize a new life.

"I know, in Zaid's eyes I'm not a friend or someone important anymore.all because of my mistakes.I ignored and disappointed him.when he was a very good man." melani realized and regretted her stupidity.
