Chapter 2 Chiara Arrayan Danadyaksa

The Chiara Arrayan Danadyaksa. A 24-year-old young doctor, beautiful and well-behaved.

Inside the spacious shabby-blue room, the girl looked at a picture of herself with her extended family.

There's Ray and Sania-papi and her mom. There are Rion and Bintang - her brother and sister-in-law as well as Queen and Prince, two cute nieces who are already 8 and 4 years old.

He smiled looking at the photo. In her hand was an engagement invitation. In a week, he'll be engaged to a man named Daffin.

"Sister Bi, I'll be engaged soon."

He spoke by looking at the picture of the star who was smiling sweetly. He was used to asking his sister-in-law for advice.

"Daffin, I know he's a good guy. Papi and Mami and bang Rion also knew him."

"Geez!" Chiara breathed out through her mouth.

"i like it. I love the way he tells me how he feels."

A few weeks ago, Daffin expressed his feelings for Chiara while they were having lunch together at a restaurant.

The Flashback

"Mara..." The man in neat clothes in front of Chiara looked at her so deeply.

"Yes..."

Chiara nodded. "Tell me! I'll listen to you" Chiara replied to the 3-year-old older man.

Daffin slowly grabbed his hand and smiled slightly. "I fell in love with you a long time ago."

"I tried to reassure my feelings and the answer remained the same. I really love you!"

"I didn't reveal it all this time because I waited for you until you were done with the internship program and all the processes for you to become a doctor."

"I'm really waiting for you to be done with your education."

"I would like, when I express my feelings, I can directly propose to you and get engaged to you."

Chiara felt her heart pounding violently. He was being proposed by a man he had known for several years.

"Chiara, be my lover. And one day, marry me. I promise to make you happy and not limit your career."

Off Flashback.

"I also like him who gantle directly ask me from papi," continued Chiara still monologue with the photo of the Star.

"My favorite pair of roles, you two. Brother and Bang Rion." Chiara laughed softly. He was like a madman talking to himself.

"Sir doesn't look special in his eyes. And I want a man like that who will be my future husband, brother!"

"Am I just backing down?" Chiara suddenly became pessimistic about her choice.

"Sometimes I think, what else am I looking for in my life?" He looked back at the invitation paper.

"I've become a doctor, I have a job even a hospital too."

"Daffin didn't forbid me if I wanted to continue with the specialist."

"My life will not lack material. Everything is guaranteed and I'm sure Papi and Bang Rion won't let my life be hard."

Chiara looked at the photo of the Star. "Son't tell me love is a sense of unwillingness when we see our partner close to another girl."

"So, love makes us cry when we are happy and sad."

"And all that I can't find in Daffin, brother." Chiara was upset.

Chiara sighed. He laid his body on the bed.
