Adira Sick

When Arkan wants to open the door to Adira's room, suddenly the phone in his hand rings. Arkan then picked up the call as he walked towards his study. Arkan refocused on his work and forgot to look at his wife.

The next morning as usual, Arkan sat down for breakfast before going to the company. Arkan recalls Adira seeing the milk in Adira's untouched glass.

"Has he come out of the room ?" ask Arkan to the waiter over there.

"Yet, sir." replied the servant who did not dare to disturb the wife of his master.

Arkan sighed. He steps into Adira's room. At first Arkan wanted to open the door of the room, but his intention was to break it out of fear if the woman who had become his wife was taking a bath or what. Arkan knocked on the door. But he knocked several times but the door did not open, even he did not get the approval from the owner of the room. Arkan opened the door and saw Adira lying on the bed.

Slowly Arkan walked closer wanting to see more clearly. Adira is completely asleep, so unaware of Arkan's arrival. But, it seemed like something was different from that woman. Adira's usually pure white face now looks flushed like heat. But the room temperature is quite cold, there is no way Adira overheated. Or maybe he is sick ? think Arkan.

Arkan put the back of his hand on Adira's forehead to feel the woman's body temperature. And it's true, Adira has a fever. Arkan immediately came out of the room and called for the maid to compress Adira so that her body heat decreased. He also orders Hen to call his family's trust doctor to check on Adira.

"Huh, really troublesome." said Arkan.

These days Adira is doing a lot of work. He received orders from his customers to make family uniforms for weddings. Adira became less rest so that made him sick.

"How is it, om ?" ask Arkan to Dr. Gavin.

"Just calm down, son. Your wife just has a normal fever. Maybe he's too tired and lacking rest" explained the middle-aged doctor who might be the same age as his father Arkan.

"You have to make sure that he gets enough rest and eats in a regular pattern" Dr. Gavin said.

"Thank you, um" Arkan said before Gavin's doctor came home.

Arkan returns to Adira's room and sees the woman still unconscious. Arkan then goes out because he wants to go to the office immediately after calling the waiter to give the medicine when Adira wakes up later.

Arkan was focusing on his work when his phone rang. Arkan immediately answered a call from his servant from home who said that Adira was now aware and forced to go to the boutique. Luckily Arkan had already messaged the servants not to let the woman out of the house.

Lunch time soon. Arkan intends to return home for lunch as well as see the state of his wife. When Arkan had just arrived, the man was surprised to see his mother who was already in his house.

Every day Ririn calls the senior servant to ask about her son and daughter-in-law, as well as today. The waiter informs her that their lady is sick and Ririn rushes to Arkan's house to see her daughter-in-law's condition.

"Arkan, the wife is sick at home why did you go to work instead ?" Ririn instantly gushed out her only puppet son.

"Mom, I just went away for a while and now I'm home." Arkan defended himself.

Adira said Arkan only two hours ago went to his office after the doctor finished his examination. Where does Adira know ? because the woman asked the waiter who gave her the medicine earlier.

After putting his bag in the room and changing clothes, Arkan went back down to the dining room because his mother invited him to lunch together. Arkan is surprised to see Adira there too. Arkan thought his wife was going to eat in the room considering the woman was still sick. So is Adira who is surprised to see Arkan without his mask. Now Adira can clearly see the face of her husband who is ugly.

Their eyes meet. Now Arkan can not dodge anymore because it is impossible he avoid Adira when his mother is with them. Arkan pulls the middle seat between Adira and her mother.

Now they had gathered at home and lunch was soon started. Adira swiftly brought rice and side dishes for her husband. Things he hasn't done in a month since they got married. Ririn smiled seeing Adira's service to Arkan. Ririn believes that one day Adira will be able to melt the heart of her son who has been frozen for two years.

After eating, Ririn told Adira to rest in the room. Arkan did not return to his office this afternoon because his mother was still at home. It is impossible to leave a sick Adira at home. He could be sprayed with his mother's scolding.

Ririn came to Arkan who was in his study.

"Arkan, how does Adira think you are ?" ask Ririn.

"It's normal." Arkan replied briefly without taking his eyes off the file in front of him.

"How is it customary ? I see that she's been so painstakingly serving you at the dinner table and I heard from the waitress that she always provides dinner for you" Ririn said.

Arkan let out his breath hearing Ririn's words. She didn't know, Adira did it just because she was here.

"Arkan, even though you don't love Adira yet, appreciate what she's done for you. Be nice to her and learn to accept her as a wife." advice Ririn again.

Ririn had known about the relationship between Arkan and Adira since she got married because there was someone who was a spy in her son's house.

"Mother, give me some time to adjust to her presence. It's only been a month, ma'am." said Arkan.

"Yes, I understand, son. But start meeting often even if it's just eating together." advises Ririn.

"You might sleep together." Ririn teased her son.
