"Okay, then give me your Slider or Sinker throw? Or, can you give me your Change-Up Throw and Curve ball?" pinta again Adrian who hopes that Aksara has one of the throws he mentioned. But then again, Aksara just shook his head like he was saying that he did not have all the throws that Adrian asked for.
The script until it stopped hiding the ball from his gloves, "I have no other throws, I only have the straight throws I showed you. The rest I've tried to practice, but I always fail every time I try and stop to learn to master it."
Obviously Adrian looked surprised, his expectations immediately collapsed when listening to the reality from his son's mouth. He became very upset with his easy-to-wear character which was completely different from his image as the son of a Great Catcher like Adrian.
"So, what have you been doing for 17 years? Not that you want to be a great Pitcher, so why do you just give up just like that just because of the difficulty in mastering other Pitch techniques. You think your current abilities can make you look great when competing with other Pitchers? You used to act like you didn't have any talent or anything, but it feels like you're lazy to practice and just slumped on your current abilities." Adrian did not stop letting out all his annoyance at the son. Without him realizing it, Aksara was really hurt listening to all the words of Adrian who just spoke without knowing any situation about his own son.
Aksara immediately threw the origin of the ball in his hand, he also threw his gloves to the ground with an angry look.
"Stop! I'm really sick of listening to people who criticize me without knowing anything about my problems. Do you know what I've been doing for the last 17 years? I'm really sick of it, my presence in this world feels like the biggest mistake. " Aksara kicked her Gloves.
"You think it's good to train constantly under pressure? At all times I have to get criticism from everyone and receive a look that takes my abilities lightly. And, every time I try to train even harder to master all those throws you mentioned. I just always get criticism from various media that keeps comparing me with other Pitchers who are not from the son of a famous Catcher." Aksara snapped at Adrian, he was already really fed up. With a furious rage, he sat limp on the mound by landing his knees first while drowning like a frustrated man.
"I don't really want to give up either, none of my intentions really want to give up. But it feels so stifling to be forced to hate something you love so much" lamented Aksara who was lashing out at a nearby dirt mound.
Aksara's explanation just immediately pierced Adrian's feelings, he really felt guilty for saying something quite rude to his son. How could he not realize anything about his son's ability, even a trivial period like this Adrian did not know anything. During this time, he was busy helping other Pitchers to shine on the mound, without ever even thinking of helping the son who needed it more.
Deeply feeling guilty, Adrian stood up from his squatting position. He looked at the child, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't criticize you too much."
Adrian walked closer to Aksara, not to forget also he quoted back the gloves kicked by the previous Aksara.
"Then, will you train back with me? I mean, we could be peers and train together. I'll help you shine on the mound, let's get together to silence those who have looked down on you!" bring Adrian. He wanted to hug his son, but he realized that it would not be possible.
"Stand, Aksara! I'm going to re-teach you what it's like to love baseball, just like how I love this game. You want to forgive me?" adrian asked as he reached out to Aksara.
"Well, I'll be your friend. Thank you for wanting to help me, but you also don't have to be too burdened to help me train just because you idolize my father too much. You must also strive for yourself" said Aksara who shook Adrian's hand as a bond of friendship in the implied form.
Apparently, Aksara thought that Adrian's kindness to him was solely due to Adrian's admiration for his father. He did not know at all that the person in front of him right now was his own real father who was from the future.
"Yes, we can be great together. And then, I guess we'll just end the game today. I think it'll be raining soon, you'll be sick when you get home late." Adrian looked up at the sky, he could see the already overcast weather.
Obviously, he did not want to make his son linger here which would make Aksara drenched in rain water and become sick with fever. And of course, any father won't be able to see his son get sick.
"Yes, you're right. By the way, what's your name? And where can I see you again? You don't seem to be attending school here either" Aksara said.
A question that confuses Adrian, he himself has not thought about both of these things. Until finally, he thought to immediately approach the house of Pak Bimo and Bu Santi after this.
"My name is Adrian" he was silent for a moment trying to think of a long name for himself. Until finally, he thought of a product brand that he had once seen on a street billboard.
"Adrian Whitening Tiger's. My parents were also fans of your father, so they named me Adrian." Adrian pretends to smile to cover up his lying nervousness.
"Died?" ask Aksara.
"I don't know my house yet, because I'm new here. But you don't have to worry, we can meet again tomorrow here. Maybe you can also ask your Papa about the selection time of the Junior National Team, so we can prepare everything. Like we're still on school holidays, we can borrow this free area and practice equipment." Adrian himself actually does not remember clearly when the selection time, because he himself immediately resigned from the judging when he found the death of his son. And it seemed, there was some future that changed due to his actions that had prevented the death of the Aksara.
"You're right, I think a Sunday school holiday can be used for free practice. And, I will also try to ask my Papa. Maybe now we can put in the equipment we borrowed money -" Adrian immediately cut the words Aksara.
"You can just go home, let me clear things up. You can get rained on later, your parents must be worried about you too." Adrian continued to refuse the help of Aksara, until making Aksara just according to it and first left Adrian. Somehow it felt like seeing Adrian insist like that, as if being scolded by his own father. And it seems that's what makes Aksara not to refuse Adrian's request and first go from there.
