Chapter 5 - If I'm Married?
Calista dropped her body on her bed, her eyes staring at the ceiling of her room. His mind went back to Darren's request. It is not a request rather an insistence that cannot be denied.
From his gaze Calista understood that the man had hidden intentions behind his marriage. Wanting to refuse, but he had already promised in front of Breana's grave.
"I give you 24 hours to think Miss. Contact me if you're willing,” Darren said as he gave his card.
The silver-eyed man with a sharp gaze somehow every word that came out of the man's lips made Calista's hair stand on end. Is he really so scary.
Had it not happened, Calista's life would not have been this complicated, having to marry a man she didn't know before. Then, how will he tell his father and mother.
His mind was back in memory of the accident.
"Where are you going Calista?" mona asked to see Calista in neat clothes.
"Mommy, I'm leaving soon my friend is waiting for me,” he said.
"You're home, I've been feeling restless since,” Mona's wishes.
"Just for a moment Mom, calm down everything is fine.”
Despite not getting permission from Mona, Calista leaves. Taking his car Calista started driving his car. His left hand continued to talk to his friend through a cell phone, while his right hand he used to hold the steering wheel. "Sorry mom I'm too excited to meet my friends" she said. Smiling wryly when he had to return to lying from his mother.
Calista put herself in her mother's lap. Mona rubs and caresses Calista's cheeks.
