The arrival of Mr. Xavier 2

Kai was pensive in his room, his relationship with Heera was still not good.

Kai was so confused, he realized yesterday he was wrong and too rude to Heera.

Heera today left with Ajeng somehow doing what, making Kai unable to talk back to him.

The door of his room was opened by Mira, Kai averted her gaze.

"Excuse me, Mister. Mr. Xavier came here and wanted to meet you, ", Mira said with a polite nod.

"Please him in, why did you make him wait for Mira?" kai said in a hostile tone, making Mira feel a little scared.

Because, he asked Mr. Xavier to wait, so that he did not get angry Kai who looks upset since morning, but it turns out his decision was wrong.

" What's up Kai?"Xavier's words stopped Mira's speech, with Xavier's hand gesture asking Mira to leave, making Mira nod politely, then leave the room.

"Huh? Nothing, uncle."Kai replied with an unfocused look, making Xavier smile.

" Sit here, Kai! Tell me your problem!"Xavier leads Kai to sit next to him on the sofa. Xavier's assistant Arjun is seen exiting the room at Xavier's behest.

Kai sighed, Xavier could always read and understand his uneasiness.

"The problem with your wife?" xavier asked, making Kai nod his head.

"Tell me!" Xavier patted Kai on the shoulder.

Kai then tells everything, from him who surprises Heera, until Heera gives him hope and suddenly Heera shatters his hopes.

Kai told me everything, based on his point of view. How could he get angry at Heera, how by accident he pushed Heera to make Heera injured and how now Heera who turned angry at him.

Xavier chuckles when Kai finishes the story. He patted Kai on the shoulder, Kai was wondering why Xavier was even chuckling instead of being concerned about the problem.

"You still have a lot to learn about Kai's marriage" Xavier said.

"Where?"

Xavier chuckled, "Let me tell you all my mass, Kai. How I still regret my time until now"

Kai watched Xavier's face turn sad, what did he think? Is there anything he doesn't know about his uncle?

"You know, now I'm a better human being than I was. I'm not as ambitious as I used to be, and now well .. slowly my heart is not as hard as it used to be, I started building a foundation, you must know about that foundation too, right?" Xavier looked at Kai, Kai nodded slowly answering Xavier's question.

He clearly knew, Xavier built a foundation that houses a school from elementary to middle level, an orphanage, a nursing home, where all who want to enter there is no charge at all.

However, because the school owned by Xavier slowly transformed into one of the favorite schools, making many students from the upper class who entered there and because of that Xavier imposed costs for middle and upper students, and so on,the money was used by Xavier for school purposes.For middle and lower Xavier provide full scholarships, for those who want to enter his school.

"For all that, I don't have to tell you everything, Kai. You must have known everything, all I want to tell you is why I changed the way I am now, it's because of someone I love so much." Xavier's eyes glared, recalling his past.

"That person means so much to me, she's my wife, Maurin. Simple girl with all her charms. He is gentle, yet can be a hard figure and that is his attraction. He accidentally entered my life, slowly but surely he began to enter the space of my heart. We got married, you were happy at the beginning of the marriage until a third person came." Xavier's face looks hardened and Kai can feel that Xavier really hates the 'third person' he refuses to call his name.

"Those third person is from my past, he was actually present before Maurin was present. I left him because I thought I was just messing around with him, let alone Maurin's presence making me realize that my relationship with the third person was wrong." Xavier looked at Kai inside.

"In fact the third man disagreed with my decision, he was present when I had married Maurin under the pretext that he had changed and had accepted that I was destined for Maurin. He let out all his rotten plans, he made my relationship and Maurin tenuous.He instigated me, saying that Maurin didn't really love me, saying that Maurin married me only for possessions. I believe everything he says, because he gave me proof. We got into a lot of fights, culminating when my mother died and Maurin was accused of being my mother's killer."Xavier rubbed the corner of his watery eyes.

"What happened after that?" asked Kai who became curious about the story of Xavier and Maurin.

Xavier turned his face up, trying not to plunge his tears freely over his cheeks.

"After that, I foolishly believed and accused Maurin of being the culprit. Somehow, Maurin suddenly disappeared after I declared that I trusted Maurin as the perpetrator of my mother's murder, at that time I was angry and increasingly believed that Maurin was guilty." Xavier.

Kai rubbed his shoulders.

"I was troubled at that time and did not think of the situation of Maurin who was pregnant with our first child, which was in my heart only anger, burning anger. So I decided not to look for Maurin and let him go out there with my baby."

This time, Xavier's tears were shed. He smiled smirkingly, Kai looked at Xavier who was shedding tears. He wondered if Maurin was the mastermind behind Xavier's mother's murder? Or is it just a slander given by the 'third person' earlier?

"After a month, I found out that Maurin was innocent. In fact, it was Maurin who tried to save mother. The 'third man' is the cause and the brain of it all, he's the one who made the mother die and slandered Maurin." Xavier wiped his tears that spilled so much.

"I punished the 'third man', then searched for Maurin's whereabouts. But, I'm late. My heart was broken knowing Maurin died and his body was found floating in the river below the ravine. I didn't even get to see his face one last time, because Maurin's body was buried a month before I knew everything."

Kai's eyes were round, he never knew Xavier had such a tragic love story.

"What saddens me the most is that when I found out that Maurin was found with a flat stomach and it indicates that he gave birth to our baby, but I don't know where he is, did he survive? Or it followed Maurin.Day-days, months even to years I searched but nil, I did not find our son."

"My regret seems pointless, because everything has happened and cannot be returned." Xavier looked back at Kai whose hands were still faithfully rubbing his shoulders.

"You have to trust your partner, son. Whatever happens, maybe now your wife still hasn't said accept your love, but trust me she just doesn't realize her love for you. He restricts himself from loving you, your job is to wake him up and remember the foundation of a relationship is trust! Remember well and don't let there be a 'third person' in your relationship, or you'll regret it as much as I do, haha."

Xavier may have chuckled at the end of his speech, but Kai knew that the rancidity contained the melancholy and sorrow within.
