*Idzhar means bayan or clear, There are six izhar letters, namely hamzah ( ⁇ ), kha ( ⁇ ), ha ( ⁇ ), aina ( ⁇ ), ghain ( ⁇ ), and ha' ( ⁇ ).

Examples of idzhar reading.

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ

Latin Arabic: Man-an-hu (QS Al Lahab: 2).

*Idghom means idkhal or enter, Idghom divided into two parts, namely,

- Idgham bigunnah is if the nun dies or tanwin meets the letters yes ( ⁇ ), nun ( ⁇ ), mim ( ⁇ ), and wau ( ⁇ ), then it should be read idgham accompanied by a hum in the nose (gunnah).

Example of idgham bighunnah reading:

أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

Latin Arabic: Abi lahabiw wa tabb (QS Al Lahab: 1)

i.e., if the nun dies or the tanwin meets the lam (HT.I.T.H.) and ra ( Q.T.), it must be read idgham without a hum in the nose (gunnah).

Example of idgham kalagunnah:

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ

Latin Arabic: Wa lam lakul lahakik (QS Al Ikhlas: 4).

*Iqlab means to change or move something from its origin, change or replace dead nun to mim accompanied by a hum if it meets the letter ba ( ⁇ ).

Example of iqlab reading:

مِنْۢ بَعْدِ

Latin Arabic: mimm ba'di (QS Al Bayyinah: 4).

*ikhfa means satru which means to cover or disguise. As for the term, ikhfa is to disguise dead nun or tanwin because it appears humming sound (gunnah) if met with 15 letters.

Characters include kaf ( ⁇ ), qaf ( ⁇ ), fa' ( ⁇ ), zha ( ⁇ ), tha ( ⁇ ), dhad ( ⁇ ), etc, shad ( ⁇ ), syin ( ⁇ ), sin ( ⁇ ), za' ( ⁇ ), dzal ( ⁇ ), dal ( ⁇ ), jim ( ⁇ ), tsa' ( ⁇ ), and ta' ( ⁇ ).

Example of ikhfa reading:

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ

Latin Arabic: Laqad khalaqnal-insanna (QS At Tin: 4).

"Iqlabn".

Innal-laishi kafaru min ahlil-kitabi wal-musyriki fi nara jahannama khalidina fiha, ula'ika hum syarrul-bariyyah(ti). Min ahlil is" asked Husna.

"Idzhar halqi" replied santri.

"Zia why don't you answer" asked Husna.
