The Eps 38

Gino looked at someone who called him. Apparently he is Rahma.

"Mother!" Gino immediately grabbed Rahma's hand to shake.

"Where is Dek Naya now? Why is he here?" ask him to Rahma. His face was very worried.

Rahma smiled briefly.

"Naya is okay, son," said Rahma who immediately let Gino sigh in relief.

"Where is he being treated now? I want to see him, Mother," Gino said.

Rahma chuckles to herself. Gino immediately highlighted the astonishment.

"Son, Naya is fine. The one who was treated here was Lala, her son Naya," Rahma explained.

Gino was shocked. Although it was not Naya who was sick, but the news also made Gino shocked to hear it.

"Let's take you back."

Then the two of them walked together towards Lala's room being treated. The boy had been vomiting since waking up. It was initially thought to be vomiting due to colds by Naya and her family. But until sunrise the symptoms experienced by Lala did not want to stop. Fearing that the boy would be dehydrated due to lack of fluids, Naya decided to take him to the hospital ER.

Lala's life has been frail since the baby. I don't know when the boy will be able to live a healthy life and not be sick anymore. Indeed the pain is human nature, but Lala too often experience it. And it was only this time that Lala was taken and hospitalized. That was because Naya had no heart to see Lala vomit like that. Usually Lala is enough to be taken to the general practitioner, or most expensive to be examined to a pediatrician if the drug from the initial doctor is not effective. But what happened this morning really made Naya desperate to bring Lala to the hospital, even though in fact Naya herself did not have much savings to pay for her treatment costs.

Currently Rahma and Gino have entered the third-class room where Lala is being treated. In the room were six bad patients who were all full of sick people. Be the situation in the room was crowded by people who came to visit, making Gino immediately feel sorry to imagine Lala would not be comfortable in this room.

"Naya," said Rahma to Naya who was sleeping with her arms wrapped.

Naya who was not really sleeping, was immediately awake.

"Mas Gino?" shocked Naya sees Gino is with Rahma.

"Dek, what's the pain Lala got?" ask Gino directly.

Lala is currently sleeping with an infusion tube stuck in her hand. Making Gino's expression instantly wistful as he looked at it.

"Ordinary pain, Mas," Naya said casually, but did not cover the sadness on her face.

Gino was astonished to hear the usual sick term Naya said. Has Lala had a history of acute illness in her opinion?

"Lala is often sick, son. But only this time Lala was treated here," Rahma told Gino.

Gino slowly leaned his face towards Lala's face. Then he kissed Lala's cheek in front of Naya and Rahma. The boy's cheeks felt a little warm, a sign that his condition was still not so recovered.

Rahma who saw the scene instantly her eyes instantly condensed. It felt so moved to see Gino who loved Lala who was actually a nobody to Gino. While Lala's real father himself did not know to Lala after they divorced. Then Rahma chose to leave the room. He was afraid that his eyes that began to shed tears were known by Naya or Gino.

"Sir, Lala should not be treated in this room. It must have been uncomfortable for Lala," Gino said later. His hand was still holding Lala's tiny hand.

Naya simply responded with a faint smile.

"No pa-pa, Mas, Lala is here. Tomorrow I'll take him home" Naya said.

"Is that a doctor's recommendation?" ask Gino.

Naya nodded slowly.

"I'm still going to take Lala home, Mas. Let's just take a walk later."

"Don't, Deck, poor Lala. She needs special care until she's completely healed."

"Yes, I know. But--what about tomorrow's Sunday show?"

Gino was silent for a moment. He just connected that tomorrow week he and his family will come to Naya's house for the engagement. Eventually Gino could only scratch his own head. Both are equally important to Gino. Proposing to Naya is his dream, and he will never step back regardless of the obstacles. But seeing Lala's condition is also no less important for him. Indeed, Gino has really considered Lala like his own biological child, although his relationship with Naya is still limited to prospective fiancees.

"Or-if you want this week's event back me-"

"No! Don't step back, honey. Don't dong..."

Gino immediately rejected firmly Naya's proposal which was actually the origin of the exit. The man moved in side by side with Naya. His hand grabbed Naya's hand, then clasped her tightly.

"Sir, please don't be pushed back?" please Gino is afraid Naya changes her mind.

Looking at Gino's clear look, Naya's small smile suddenly rose. Feeling funny mixed with anxiety to see a grown man whining in front of him.

"Any! We're not disturbing?"

Tetiba has Yuli and Budi coming to visit Lala.

Gino and Naya both turned their heads, but the man still did not want to take off his grasp.

"Ehem! Let's go out first yuk, honey. Looks like we're interrupting their show" Budi chirped as he glanced at Gino and Naya's hands.

Naya immediately understood with Budi's glance. Instantly the woman took Gino's hand off her hand.

"Eh, no! You don't bother anyone" said Naya, holding back her embarrassment, as her cheeks began to meet red.

"Don't you bother me?"

"No!" sahut Gino was a bit too serious, but Yuli and Budi understood that it was just a joke and not serious.

"Mh.. Deck, I want to go to the bathroom first huh," she left Naya and Yuli also Budi in the room.

Outside Gino's room meets a sad looking Rahma. The woman was sitting alone, and Gino knew that her future mother-in-law was crying.

"Mother" Gino said to Rahma.

"Mom is okay?" tanyanya then sat down with Rahma.

"No, Son. I'm not okay," replied Rahma kentara lying.

Gino just nodded. But he knew that Rahma was sad. I don't know what he's thinking, but Gino would really like to help if Rahma would tell him.

"ee... Where are you going?" ask Rahma later.

"I want a bathroom, Buk. All want to pray, still do not pray ashar because."

"Well, the quarry there if you still do not pray ashar why from earlier relaxed once?" sulk Rahma.

Gino who heard that could only grin. But she was grateful to have a future mother-in-law who could remind her of her religious obligations. Then Gino went to the musholla in the hospital.
